Big O Tires Louisville is absolutely amazing! I got a flat tire and they told me to bring it in anytime, even after 5 pm working hours. All other shops made me schedule an appointment and closed at 5, but they so willingly accommodated me same day! Troy and the car technician (whose named I didn't catch, but has red hair!) worked hard to find the hole in my tire and quickly repaired it, instead of making me purchase a whole new tire. I highly recommend this location! we are new to CO, and wanted to be prepared to drive in the snow safely. They walked us through all the options with clear, detailed explanations. on the day of our appointment there was a snag and they didn't have the tires we had agreed to in stock. they ordered them for express delivery but somehow they didn't arrive in time to do the tires that day. Andrew Kensinger went over and above with communications on the delays and when I showed up the next morning at 7:25 (note that they open at 7:30), he came out of the shop and greeted me before I even had time to get out of the car. He took my keys and immediately drove it into the bay for the work to commence promptly. although he indicated it would be ready by 8:30, I actually received a call from him by 7:56 to say the car was ready! read more

The guys were polite, considerate, and quick to make the repair. I stopped in at this place because I had a problem with my vehicle and suspected that there was a bad tire issue. I needed to find out what was wrong immediately. All that I'm aware of is that looked at it and then told me that I needed a complete front end rebuild. I asked them if it would be safe for me to drive the car back to Golden where my mechanic is located. They said yes. The issue was getting worse as I drove, but I made it to the repair shop. They put it on a lift and discovered that the all of the lug nuts were loose on one wheel. I don't think big o ever put the car on the lift. If the wheel had come off while I was driving, it could have been fatal. I'm still waiting to find out if there is any damage to the car because of this. This place doesn't even deserve one star! read more

I have a fleet vehicle, so I have got new tires put on every year at a different big o location. I just moved to this area so I tried out this location. Looks like they might be understaffed, which might be why I had this experience. I brought my car in to get the tires looked at and start the process of getting my tires approved through Element on a Thursday. I was told it was approved Saturday and I scheduled to come in the next week. I took off work to bring the car in as scheduled only to find out that the work was never approved by element and that they couldn't resubmit until the following week. Not sure what happened but it was really frustrating to find out I had wasted a day off work to get this done and the process hadn't even been started. When they finally got the approval and installed the tires it was quick and easy. When I picked up the car, I asked about the old tires - were they kept or recycled? And what did element say for me to do so I don't have a problem next summer. I was told the old tires were no good and to come back for new tires next summer with element. But I got into my car and saw all the old tires loaded into it, while there was a tire recycling fee already charged to my account on the printed invoice. In the end, they got the job done and the tires are fine so but it wasn't without hassle and a lot of unnecessary extra work. read more

One afternoon one of my tires was losing air pressure and I was concerned since I had an important appointment the next day. I pulled into the Louisville Big O Tire store since I was a previous customer. Luckily they weren't very busy and a young man noted my concern and had my car in a bay quickly. Shortly after, my car was returned to me and I was shown the piece of metal that had been removed from my tire. I asked how much for the repair and they said "no charge." Well, I couldn't have been happier! I appreciate their customer service and would recommend them. They have been at that location for many years and most days have many customers. That would not be the case unless they are the real deal. The next time you have a tire issue, give them a shot! read more

We scheduled an oil change and a tire rotation for my daughter's vehicle and, after speaking with Eddie, agreed on a specific tire rotation. When my daughter returned home, the oil had been changed but the tires had not been rotated. Eddie did not even reach out to me to discuss why the tires had not been rotated. Upon calling the next morning, Andrew stated that "Eddie is new" and that is why I didn't get a follow-up phone call. After his explaining to me why the tires had not been rotated, and upon hearing my opinion, Andrew hung the phone up on me. Poor customer service to say the least. I have been a Big O customer for many years, as has my wife and extended family, patronizing Big O businesses around the Boulder/Denver area. I have had good experiences at the Louisville Big O in the past, but my most recent experience was enough to turn me away for good and inspire me to make my experience known to others to save them similar headaches. I brought my car in for a simple tire swap, having my snow tires installed. They got me in right away on a busy Saturday going into the Thanksgiving holiday and got the work done faster than expected. The service technician was friendly and helpful. However, the following day, I noted that one of my lug nuts was missing and upon closer inspection, noted that the lug bolt was sheared off. I vistited Big O immediately Monday morning to bring this to the attention of the store manager (David), who took zero responsibility for their actions. Having worked in customer service at various capacities much of my career, I was astonished by his unwavering deniability. His response was "well, too bad, you are on your own, not our fault". Meanwhile, my options are to pay the dealer $240 to fix it or fix it myself. Additionally, I noticed they severely over inflated the tires to over 45 psi (though they had 31-32 psi logged on my invoice). Use caution when dealing with this Big O! read more

I had my oil changed on a 2018 Hyundai Elantra at Big O in late April. In August, the oil plug fell out of the oil pan causing the engine to be ruined at a cost of $10,000. No one had serviced the car in the meantime, and the oil plug does not fall out on its own. So, you would think they would take at least partial responsibility for this, but they did not. Their insurance company, Nationwide, has denied the claim stating that I have not proven the issue was caused by Big O Tires in Louisville, CO. No one at the store has called me back. This is how a giant mistake made by one of their mechanics was handled, and how their insurance company chose to not make it right. I cannot bring myself to ever take any of my cars back to this store even though my tires are under warranty there, when I cannot trust their work and I know they don't do anything when they make a blatent mistake. read more

This place has gone downhill, avoid at all costs! Manager is literally never there nor does he care to follow up with his customers. The technician broke a sensor while replacing my tires and will not take responsibility or follow up after attempting to get in touch with them several times (by stopping by and calling) we ended up paying for a replacement sensor per the technician's request and they replaced the WRONG sensor. Had to go to a different place to get my car fixed after this mess. AVOID AT ALL COST unless you want to get ripped off read more

I've always appreciated Big O Tires, but this location in particular was my first experience and not the best. I had an appointment scheduled several days in advance and they continued to serve people that walked in without an appointment first. By the time my service was complete they told me my battery was testing below 50% though it was new. I went somewhere else after my appointment and it was testing at 96%. Then to top it all off I was overcharged. I won't be going back to this location. I'm glad other people have been treated right. read more

They were able to get me in quickly, as the other/non-affiliated shop had me bring in my car all day and still couldn't get to it! Big-O got everything done in the time they stated for $100 less than quoted! They also cleaned the sap off my wipers instead of charging me for replacement. Terrible service here today. I brought my car in to have the summer tires swapped for the winter ones. I was told it would be four hours (totally ridiculous) and when I checked back in 4.5 hours later, they told me it would be another 1.5 hours. I took my car and left. I will not be returning here. It should not take 6 hours to swap tires. I understand places are understaffed but this is not acceptable. I had already told them that four hours was close to my childcare pickup, so they could have at the very least called me to let me know it would be longer. Very displeased. read more

This location and it seems the company doesn't really care about their customers. Neither does the manager at the store. The store stripped the lugnuts on a tire and refused a refund. Their warranty department said, why are you coming to us? It was the store's fault. For a $50 refund, the guy was following policies rather than having satisfied customers.
