Sat for over 2 hours to her tires I brought with me put on even know I had an appointment. Not to mention they let someone who can't drive stick rev my car and beat on my clutch. Worst experience! They charge over a $100 for an oil change. Also had my fairly new tires rotated. They told us we needed new tires immediately, what a bunch of liars! Got back on the road, my vehicle was shaking so bad I went to Walmart to have the tires looked at. Was told 30 minutes for an inspection. Waited over an hour. Couldn't find someone for help. Once I did, I was told , oh! We are Justin's pulling your car in! Five Minutes later-you need a new tire and there's a chip in your windshield so we had to stop the inspection. Ok. So now I'm running around trying to get this crap fixed and I don't even know if there's more I need to get done. I call BS. I do not recommend this place. read more

I would not recommend this location. I took my truck there twice and both times they could not get the alignment correct. My front tires got chewed up within a week just driving to work. Each time I took my truck there they called me suggesting over $1200 in work and surprisingly it was the same work each time that did not and still does not need to be done. Each time when i declined the extra work, they said, "My mistake, i meant to call someone else." but it was the exact same lines. They said I needed to replace my breaks, front tie rod ends and other stuff. All parts were just replaced! Makes me wonder how many people they have tried to Up Sell that did not either need or get the work!!! read more

Called the Ozark MO location on Friday April 11th asked to make an appointment to have 2 vehicles serviced with an oil change on the following Monday April 14th at 4pm, was told no problem, but the lady took none of my information which I questioned and was told they would gather it when i got there. You guessed it showed up today at 4pm with both cars and no appointment... the young man said he could get me right in 15-20 min so I left one vehicle with him when I returned an hour and 15 minutes later of course they still had not got to it, and the young man seemed put out that I was not willing to wait.... Giving 1 star only because I can't give 0 stars and have the review show-up anywhere. I made an appointment to have my car looked at because of a small bounce - I was told that it wasn't a balance issue by another dealership, so I was expecting it would be shocks and struts all the way around, which they confirmed - original estimate was $1100 and that it would be done in 1 day. I was able to take my car in on a Friday morning so that they would be able to start the work first thing Monday morning - I received a revised estimate on Monday of $1400 - then received a call that the CV boot was leaking and should be replaced - revised again to over $1600 - asked if this would all still be done in 1 day - YES - I went to pick-up my car, when I arrived the car was still on the hoist with no one working on it and the "techs" all standing around chatting. I was told by one of them that the car ready - by another that it was still needing to be aligned - and by a 3rd that the CV boot was now actually not the boot but the CV Axel that still needed to be done. I was told that I would still be able to pick up the car that day - however - I received a car shortly after I left that the CV axel was stuck in the socket and they were unable to free it - would have to be completed the next day. After some discussion I was told that they do not normally perform this type of work which was why it was taking longer than expected - to which I inquired as to why-then did they offer to make this repair and also have this type of work as a "button" on their register. No real answer was given to that question - during that conversation I was told that I would be given a bunch of extra discounts and that some items would not be charged to my bill because of all of the delays and miscommunications that had occurred. The following day when I was told my car was ready, I went in to settle the bill - there were no discounts applied - and when I asked about the discounts - without checking or asking anyone I was told that the total is correct and that there are no discounts. As I was leaving, I asked one of the other people that had worked on my car about why it took so long - his response was that the car didn't arrive when it was supposed to, so they got a late start on it was why. I REALLY hate being lied too and then having them try to blame me for their incompetence - We will NEVER go this or any other Big-0 Tire again - Not that my one car will mean the difference between them making it or not - even when you throw in the other 15 cars that are in our extended family in the area - I just hope that this review is taken to heart by anyone else that my want to have this company perform work on their vehicles - my advice is PLEASE DO NOT!!!! The service technician who did the inspection is a liar. I had this car inspected 3 times. Big 0 tires is the only one who failed the car. Then tried to charge me 1,000$ to fix it . They are an upselling Company. Go in for an oil change and they try to make two grand off of you every time. Never recommend them.0 out of 10 . Crooked for sure. read more

Let me start with I have been here for service several times, but this was the final straw. When we first started coming, service was decent, but over the past six months it has gone downhill big time. First my wife waited three hours for a simple oil change/tire rotation, guys cursing loudly in the lobby, but this week takes the cake. We dented our rim on Friday, brought it to Big O, found out it needed replaced. Ben quoted us $900+ for just the rim, the tire was fine. Whatever, we needed it replaced sooner than later, said he would order it and get it Tuesday (today). Called at 11am and 3pm and was told both times that nobody from the dealership would call him back. At 5pm I happened to be driving by so I stopped in and asked for a third time where the rim was, to which he still had no idea. I called the dealership, Big O had a quote from Friday, but the order had never been placed. Ben luckily called me back, and when confronted about the lack of an order every being placed tried to place blame on Reliable. Turns out, I was able to order from Reliable and for $500 instead of the $900 and wouldn't you know, they require payment at the time of order so you instantly have a receipt. This rim never got ordered, I was lied to multiple times, and this place has lost our business for good. If I could give this place zero stars I would, and would tell anyone thinking about going here, to go somewhere else. read more

Came to the ozarks to purchase a vehicle and wanted to do a pre sale inspection, been here since 11 AM and they kept telling someone was ahead then 10 minutes go by they said welp never mind wrong depart you are the first in line i waited an hour got so bored started test driving the car more, came back and still had to wait apparently the guy that's suppose to inspect the car went on an hour lunch An hour goes by still nothing They didn't start the inspection until 1:56pm!!!! i don't recommend this place for service they are lacking Customer service and wasting peoples time. I took my truck in to get a tire repair and an inspection. The gal came in all smiley and said that my truck didn't pass inspection because I needed (4) ball joints replaced. She had an estimate in-hand for right at $2,000. I told her that I had just had an alignment there about 3,500 miles ago and it was impossible for the ball joints to all go bad that quickly. She said they could probably redo the alignment for free. I went home and checked the truck myself and didn't see any evidence that the ball joints had any play in them. Took it to another shop and it passed. Fast forward another 8 months. Go in for another flat repair. They do an alignment check and say that the truck is slightly out of alignment. I asked them if the front end was inspected. They said yes it looked good. I asked them how that could be because they had said that I needed (4) ball joints last time I was in, and I hadn't replaced them. The guy told me to look around and I wouldn't see anyone that still worked there back then......just because of this issue. Big O......really should be BIG NO! read more

Had the oil changed on our car. They forgot to engage the dipstick which led to my car check engine light coming on. I had taken my car here for the service as the hours were more convenient. Took my car back to my regular service provider & they told me what had happened. I took pictures - called the Asst Manager and went to visit him at Big O. He could have cared less - basically said since Go Automotive didn't charge me for their service he wasn't going to do anything. WHO changes the oil without putting the dip stick back in correctly?? BIG O TIRE IN OZARK DOES. I thought about purchasing tires there for my truck - not now after they did this to my car! read more
