Went in for an oil change. They promised best prices in town and out in an hour. The tIme frame was well under an hour but the prices seemed high. They pulled two dirty filters and wanted 50 dollars to install. I complained and they listened and was very respectful to me. I can go down the street and save myself at least 30 dollars, if not more to install myself. Company reduced price and I'm out in under an hour. I wished they wouldd rotate tires as part of their service like most places do, that would get 5 stars. But I'm guesSing oil changes isn't their specialty. But pretty happy with the service over all and would consider visiting for tires or other services. read more

SHAME ON YOU BIG O!!!! You cannot be trusted! I am really upset at the fact that these guys tried to take advantage of my 20 year old daughter. We bought her car with brand new tires. The previous owner had given us the receipt for the purchase from Big O. It was time to service her car, so I told her that it is a good habit to get her tires balanced and rotated when she has it serviced. She went there and they took care of the tires. Then they came out and gave her a big schpeal that her brakes were dangerously thin and she could get in a bad accident if she didn't get them replaced immediately, and for over $300. They told her that they would recommend that she didn't leave without new brakes, and if she did, she had at most 5 days to drive before she would be metal on metal and cause a terrible accident. She called me in tears. I calmed her down and told her to thank them for taking care of the tires, and leave, and go to Midas, just down the road, for a second opinion. I told her to just go in and not mention the info Big O had given her, but to ask them to evaluate the life of her brakes so she knew when they would need to be replaced and could budget for it. They came out after checking and let her know that her brakes were PERFECT AND HAD 75% life left and probably wouldn't need to be replaced for quite a while. While she was relieved, I am disgusted that Big O would attempt to take advantage of a naive young girl like that!!! And to even think about saying her brakes were even remotely close to needing replaced WHEN HER BRAKES ARE FINE AND HAVE 75% life left. This is completely unacceptable and terrible business. I have always had a good experience with them up until recently, so needless to say it saddens me that they chose to do this as I will NEVER be back, EVER! SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! ON YOU read more

I bought tires for my BMW X5 from Tire Racks and had them shipped directly to this Big O Tires. I called to make appointment but was told i could just drop by. When I got there, there were many people in the waiting room. I feared the worst but i was attended to within a minute after i stepped into the store. Not bad. The guy said it would take about an hour and a half, and I said I'll wait. The waiting room is nothing to shout about, just a couple of chairs in among tires on display. My car was done after just shy of an hour. I was charged 19.95 dollars per tires for installation and 3 dollars for disposal of the old tires. Before i knew it, i was out on the road again! Overall service was prompt and no nonsense. I will totally come here again. read more

We've been to this Big O location several times and have always received excellent customer service. We had our entire AC kit replaced and a new blower motor installed. They had a quick turn around time and were fair and worked with us on price. They were able to negotiate with some suppliers for parts to help lower the cost. Brad has been wonderful to work with. He was quick to follow up and even went the extra mile to find a coupon for us! Thanks for taking great care of us and our car. Halloween night my car died while driving. It was easy to figure out I was going to need an alternator and battery. I wanted it towed close to where I live so I could walk to the shop once it was fixed since it's my only vehicle. They quoted me $860 to fix $377 alternator $189 battery the rest labor. They mentioned the price could come down $20-60 once they got the alternator out and could see what size it needed. Call to autozone alternator $250 and battery about $189. Call to my preferred mechanic that is a further distance $740 to fix, and he couldn't get to it for a few days. So I'm basically paying $120 mark up on a part but I agree to it since the cars there and they could fix it same day. Then it wasn't fixed same day it was done the next day on Wednesday 11/2. When I called on day two a woman answered and I told her I was calling about my car getting a new car and battery she launches into quoting me a new battery is about $159 and I tell her my repair is underway and I'm calling about picking it up. $30 difference? I had mentioned the heater wasn't working and could they also look into that. They mentioned it could be the coolant. When I picked up the car they hadn't had time to check the heating situation. Barely drive the car on Thursday and Friday. Saturday my car is overheating. Turns out I had 0 coolant. The coolant reservoir is immediately next to the battery. You didn't have time to glance from the battery to the coolant reservoir when you diagnosed coolant when I said heating issue? Jiffy lube on Saturday walked me through the leak I have for the coolant, that a spark plug wire isn't fitting right and is throwing sparks, filled my coolant and topped off my oil even though I got my last oil change somewhere else all for free. Go elsewhere. I'm giving two stars cuz I agreed to $860. read more

Bought some tires for my car here. I was very picky and wanted to see a few different tires they did not have in stock. They brought in the tires I was wanting to see and even mounted one to see how I liked the look and if it would clear with no rubbing. Their service is top notch. I have since bought another set of wheels and tires from them based on my first experience. I have yet to have any service work don't by them but am going to give them a shot as I am very picky about my cars. Will update soon as almost time for oil change. I have to update this as I had a horrible experience with them. I had bought a set of wheels and tires and they kept having a wobble and they could not balance them. I went back three times and they still could not get it corrected. I ended up going to another shop and they fixed it in no time with wheel spacer things. I was baffled they did not try that the first time, second time or third time. read more

This location was only minutes from closing when we arrived. We had hit a huge pothole and got a flat tire. The waiting room was full, they had four cars still waiting to get in for repair or service. They pleasantly took on our "issue" at closing time! We were there an hour and a half past their closing time. We never felt like they were annoyed for having to still be there. Highly recommend! read more

You can take my experience with them in whatever way you would like. My family has used this Big O for the last few years and haven't had any problems until recently. I took my truck in to get two new tires mounted and two valve stems replaced since they were leaking. After leaving the truck there on a slow Thursday for more than 2 hours, I picked up the truck which looked to be done correctly. I noticed that both my front tires (the ones that should have had the valve stems replaced) were flat the next day (Friday). I took the truck back over around 5:30 to get them replaced for a second time and after sitting there for over an HOUR without my truck even moving from where I parked it. I talked to the guy working the front desk to be told "well we have been pretty busy today". Well if you did the job correctly when the truck was there for over 2 hours the day before I wouldn't be here creating more work for you. The truck finally moved about 20 minutes later and after another 20 I was called into the shop by I believe Dan which I was now talking to since the first guy was "too busy" with other things. Here's where my experience gets to be more fun. It was the next Thursday and I am driving home from work when I noticed a sound coming from my driver's side front tire. It sounded like a card put into bike spokes that you could hear over the air conditioner and radio. I got off the freeway after a few minutes because the sound was so obnoxious. I limped it home thinking it was something to do with my CV axle since I was told it needed to be replaced. When I got home I was going to pull my wheel off to make sure there wasn't substantial damage to anything else. I noticed a couple of my lug nuts were out further than the other ones. I tried to take the 3 off by hand and to my surprise they all spun off the stud by hand. Trying the other 5, 7/8 of my lug nuts were loose enough to take off by hand. MY 35 INCH TIRE WAS HELD ON BY 1 LUG NUT WHILE I WAS ON THE FREEWAY DOING 70 MPH. The passenger front wheel was the same way but at least had more than just 1 lug nut holding on a 35 inch tire. I called and talked to Travis which wanted to look at the truck to make sure there wasn't any serious damage done. I took the truck back this last Saturday where they replaced 2 of my studs which had taken damage from the loose tire. This is absolutely ridiculous in my book. If their workers can't even tighten down lug nuts past the point of being able to take them off by hand what else can't they handle that would require any sort of competence. Plus the attitude of workers after I had wasted 3 days in time to get 2 simple things done. They have completely lost my business. read more

Yesterday my battery died. Stopped into a auto parts store and the cheapest battery was $115.00. So I had my husband jump my van and ran up to Big O Tires. The battery was cheaper so I got a battery oil change checked my fluids for about $20.00 more with tax probably. We have been going to this Big O's since we moved here 7 years ago. They are the best!
