This is the worst experience I have ever had with a tire shop. They severely try to take advantage of women in particular. My girlfriend called to confirm they offered a service 5 minutes prior to going, only to be told something different upon arriving. She was then quoted an insane amount for tires saying it was the "cheapest" they could offer for her very standard car of a Honda Civic. When she asked the employee's name so she could put a name to the tire quote, he said his name was listed on the printed quote. However, the name printed was different than his own which makes me think he was trying to scam and get away with it. Do not go here. They don't even do free tire rotations. Immediately after we went to Discount Tire on Oracle Road and had a fantastic and quick experience. They offered the same tires for half the price Big O did. Take my advice and skip this place. read more

Normally a good company, the location on silverbell is garbage. I paid $90.00 dollars for an oil change as I was door dashing this past summer. Not even 2 mnths later I was at a gas station and oil light came on.... Big o tires confirmed I didnt have a leak but didnt know how I was able to put 4 qts of oil in which I shouldnt have been able to do if THEY HAD PUT OIL IN which they didnt and partially admitted they might have forgot managment was rude and unprofessional and cussed at me and called me a liar. High praise for Eric and the technicians at this location! While passing thru Tucson, we lost the tread on the left rear tire of the Jeep Liberty we were towing. A quick google search sent us to Big O and Eric's advice and knowledge of his products led us to a new set of tires for the Liberty. Additionally, when the bad tire threw the tread, it took out the tail light. Eric tracked down a local dismantler who had one. Back on the road with new tires and a tail light and only a little worse for wear and not too far behind schedule. Let the adventure continue! read more

SUNDAY!! Got a flat tire on our way to Phoenix. First drive to this shop as we didn't have many options (most places closed) and we are glad we drove a little extra to get here. I had a flat tire near intersection of Grant Road & Silverbell. When I drove into Big O Tire Store on West side of Silverbell / north of Grant, I parked in front of an empty stall. I went in and told the service person, "I have a flat tire. Can you take it off and put on my spare?" The service guy, Enrigue, told me, "That'll be $10." I said, "Well, okay. I need to get my car to the store where I bought the tire. It's under warranty." We went outside. "There's my car," I pointed. Enrique told me, "You can't block the stall! Move your car to a parking space!" His tone and his attitude ("hey, lady--are u dumb or something?") really bothered me. I told him, "Look. My tire's totally flat. I don't want to ruin the rim." Enrique opened my car door and got in. He reached for my key in the ignition switch. I told him, "Hey, just a minute! My purse is in the car. Just give me a minute. And tell me what you're planning to do." This guy frowned at me. I said, "Just get out of my car! I don't want you to help me." He jumped out--without a word! So I called my USAA Auto Emergency Roadside Servce. They arrived promptly and treated me with courtesy. If you're an older woman, don't go to this tire company. You may be treated like a nobody. read more

Come here if you enjoy getting ripped off for perfectly good parts. They are supposedly "experts" yet replace a perfectly fine belt on a 2014 car for $135. If you're a woman (or man!) beware. They take advantage of the fact that you may not know a lot about cars. Didn't even offer to show my partner the part they replaced. When I came back the next day demanding to see it they tried shying away from showing me it. It was in pristine condition. After much demanding they finally gave it to me and said it was "maybe" bad because it had a little oil on it. Uh... It came out of a car.. They treat you like you're an idiot. Manager was completely unhelpful and a joke to be honest. They probably put the good belt back in their inventory to sell. I took it with me. Shady business. DO NOT under any circumstance take your vehicle here. Well unless you want to be robbed blind for perfectly good parts. Her car runs worse now before taking it there. Plus she's out nearly $200. I went to the Grant and Silverbell location for a simple oil change with a coupon. Unfortunately there were additional fees then what the coupon stated, manager claimimg each location is different. Worst part is they damaged my back drivers side and completely denied it. I insisted on seeing the video camera for I went directly there from my home. Scam Oil change. Big Zero Tire Scam Be Aware!!!! The scammers had me come in early for a reason. The guy who attempted to change the oil on my jeep put a impact hammer on the drain plug breaking off the drain plug boss. The scam starts as they inform me I need a new oil pan. Its a good thing for them I showed up early so these losers had enough time to do the scam repair. 400.00 dollars later. I had a blow out and this store was closer than going to my work. The spare I had was in bad shape and I was even afraid to put air in it. It had 23 psi. I dropped off the truck and ran errands while they put 2 new tires on the rear. Picked it up and didn't drive it till today. Had the tires put on saturday and planned on getting two more next month. The truck was shacking very bad. I looked at the tires and the right rear was missing the cap for the valve stem. It had 70 psi in it and the left rear had 40 psi but a cap on the valve stem. The chrome sleeves for the valve stem were missing on both of them. I took it back in today and ernie greeted me and I showed him what was going on. He let air out of the right rear in the parking lot and wanted to drive it. I said no and put the tires on the balancer. They do not have a balancer that reads load force. If he did he would have seen it was in the tire. I wasted 422.00 dollars and Ernie was rude and disrespectful to me. He rebalanced the tires and never once apologized for the poor service. Just the opposite and I will never go there again. I have to get more tires to replace these. He tried to say I had a bent rim. It is not the wheel I had a smooth ride before the tires were put on. If I could put 0 stars I would. read more

I have been buying from them since they took over. I tried yesterday to make it before they closed, I even called them at 5:19 pm when they close at 6pm to let them know I was down the street, they said no, and asked me to try to be there before 5pm the following day. I told them I would try...Ernie, sent me away again even though I explained that I cannot make it during before 5pm...I will never go there again. Would give 6 stars if I could--on way home when car started pulling to right and tire light came on. About 3 miles away I knew there was a Big O shop, but it was 330 on a Sunday afternoon. Limped there, pulled in and saw they were closed. Was just phoning for help when the door opens and their manager comes out, looks at my tire and says he'll check to see if he has it. I actually was planning on putting 4 new tires on anyway, they needed it. He said if they had that size he would get them on THEN. Long story short, Ernie and his tech stayed, changed and balanced all my tires and got me back on the road. Kind, friendly, professional guys and absolutely amazed at this level of service. We shredded a front tire on our Ram 3500 while traveling through Arizona. We needed to get back on the road on Sunday morning. Most tire stores were closed and the one we initially called were not helpful. I am so glad we called Eric at Big O. He got us right in and we decided to replace all 6 tires on the dually and had it aligned. He recommended a great tire that rides substantially smoother than what we had on the truck. AVOID THIS LOCATION! BEWARE! I spent $600 for pads and two new calipers (my original calipers were working fine when I brought it here). Two weeks after this service my car begins shaking vigorously when the brakes are applied. I call them to tell them and they immediately say it's nothing they did and my rotors are likely "warped" from heat (which is a fallacy). After agreeing to look at it they tell me the calipers are sticking and this is what caused my rotors to wear unevenly. My rotors were fine before I brought it here and they even said they were fine when the brakes were done. Yet two weeks later my rotors are ruined because of the calipers they installed incorrectly, and they take no responsibility? Oh and forgot to mention that they also broke a bracket when they installed the calipers as well that was making a knocking noise constantly. These technicians are incompetent, unfit, scammers that should be avoided at all costs. I hope no one makes the same mistake I did trusting these folks with your vehicle for any service. read more

Do not try to use a coupon here for an oil change. Scam artists. Worst service and dishonest employees. No fluid top-offs and I had to ask for the next oil change mileage sticker. Have been taking vehicles here for several years. Ernie Perez, the manager/owner, is always professional, courteous, helpful, and friendly. Front desk staff always willing to explain if I need a better understanding. Late in 2016 another customer was wearing an item of clothing containing highly offensive language aimed at women , Ernie reminded him his business catered to all people, I was relieved he stepped in .
