I had a very disappointing experience with Big Sandy Superstore, especially with their delivery service. The product was not delivered as promised, and communication throughout the process was poor. Delivery delays were not clearly explained, and getting updates required multiple calls with little useful information provided. I would not recommend them based on my experience and would think twice before making another purchase from them. read more

We purchased furniture for a new house that we built because we didn't want to take our old and busted furniture with us. We bought a refrigerator, sectional, chair, Bed frame, mattress, dresser, pop up coffee table, and a custom made table. Getting updates for all of these items to be delivered was a nightmare. I would reach out and they would be unable to provide me with any information regarding a date (even though I was told if I put 30% down I could come in two weeks before I needed the furniture to schedule the delivery). Once the delivery was scheduled the sectional, chair, coffee table, dresser and refrigerator were delivered without any issues. However we ordered a queen size bed frame and mattress and a King size frame was delivered with my queen size mattress. I had to call and complain about the order and the queen size frame was delivered a week later. The table that we ordered was being built (Gascho brand). We ordered a 120 inch table and worked with the store manager to ensure that we got the biggest table that we could find. He ordered us this gorgeous table that we paid for and sent off for building. 120 inches. After finally getting a delivery date the table shows up and it is only 90 inches long. The table we were upgrading was already that size. How does a custom table get build 30 inches too small? The best part about Big Sandy is their delivery people. They are always super nice and helpful and do an amazing job. Everything else seems like the salespeople are doing whatever they can to get the sale and after that who cares what happens with the furniture that you paid for. I still cant get over a fully custom table build being 30 inches too small. So much for the word custom, right? read more

A sales person greeted us as we entered the store and quickly asked what we were looking for. Beth was extremely knowledgeable and quite helpful, showing us the sofas we wanted. Although the payment process was lengthy, Beth was right there to walk us thru. We got 2 leather sofas and a coffee table for just a little more than the sectional was originally priced. First off, go elsewhere if you are looking for good product! We purchased a Frigidaire fridge. The first day we got it, the water dispenser did not work. After troubleshooting for 3 days, they replaced with the same fridge. The next week we got the 2nd Fridge. We plugged it up And within hrs the fridge, decided to quit working!!!!! They sent out a repair person a week later. It was an internal Freon leak within the unit!!! What??!! A NEW refrigerator!!!! I refused to get the same one for a 3rd time but they would not pay the difference on a different model that was less than $200 more!! Not to mention, on the first fridge we got had dents in the front door, they offered to credit to us $230 before the exchange But they can't upgrade??! All I can say is go elsewhere for good product and good customer service. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! read more

My wife and I bought a sectional couch with power recliners. One section of the power recliner is stuck in the up position. We were told by the sales person that we had a lifetime 1 time fix and 1 time cleaning. When we made an appointment to have it serviced we were told it would be $129.99+ tax for them to come diagnose the issue then they would send us a quote to have it fixed. Make sure to read through your contract very carefully and don't trust what they are telling you. Even if the part is covered the inspection fee and labor is not. We were also informed the 1 time cleaning was a lie. We spent $4700 on this couch. USB ports useless, cheaply made and start to get hot after a few minutes of charging. My husband ordered online for a new dryer. We need a stove and furniture also but wanted to order one item to see if the transaction went through smoothly. He never received confirmation of our order. My husband contacted them and they said they processed our payment but never received our order. This is very sketchy. After texts and phone calls he ended up canceling the order. When my husband canceled the order Brooke hung up on him. Very stressful situation. Very disappointed in her behavior. Especially when they had a Bible verse on their email. We were really looking forward to doing business with Big Sandy Superstore since they had appliances & furniture. Horrible experience. Took months for our appliances. Delivery guys were rude. Everything was installed incorrectly. Dishwasher leaked all over our new flooring. Manager lied and saod he'll send gift card on 2 separate occasions and didn't bother. Have had to have service out twice because of the poor installation. And made me wait weeks read more

I had a stove delivered to my house on August 11th 2023 when the delivery guy plugged in the stove it cause a power surge he did know what he was doing and fried my motor in my central air unit, working find up to that moment. Today I attempted to make a complaint to big sandy superstore I was told to file a claim with my insurance and I said no because it's big Sandy's fault. There customer service blew me off. I was so excited about this store. We went there and we love the couches ended up buying from them. That was on may 7th 2023, we had plans to move to our new home after 7 weeks so they promise us that we would have our couches deliver in 5 to 6 weeks so everything works fine then. ( they have some signs all over the store saying that furniture will be deliver in 4 weeks). Today is July 6th, exactly 2 months and we don't have our furniture and still they don't have a ETA for us. I'm super frustrated we made plans to have everything ready in our house when we move in now I'm suppose to have a welcome party here and celebrate my husband's birthday and we have our living room empty. I explained to them at the store they offer me at 50 dollars gift card to buy a tip couch so we can have something to seat on it (seriously???) $50 dollars. The girl we worked with I think is new spent about hour and half with her for her to figure out the financing. I went there looking for a washer and dryer. They had the appliances upstairs. It was steep stairs hard for a healthy person to get to. They did have an elevator it was very small very small. it puts you out in front of people working at desks and you feel like you have invaded an office. The railings are glass and walk way small. If you don't like heights you will be uncomfortable. When the salesperson came around we were given the cost of the washer and dryer. We also were told the hoses were extra. You need those to operate the washer. Then they said depending on where you lived a delivery charge. If you had things to be removed it was a charge to take away each old appliance. You wind up paying at least $200 more for all the extras you have to pay for. I was not impressed. they did have a lot of furniture but the prices were higher than you can find things at other places. I thought I could find something there I needed but I didn't and will not go back partly on the arrangement of getting to the appliances on the second floor. It's creepy. read more
