I really wish I checked yelp before coming here. I got the Singapore stinger and it's so bad I can't even finish it. It's way oversauced and the sauce itself smells and tastes like farts. Their salads are the best in town! Bozeman's best kept salad secret! There aren't many restaurants these days that make their own salad dressings (ie their Ginger Wasabi Vinaigrette + Red Curry Peanut dressing). My #1 is the Korean Beef Salad - I love to add peanuts, tomatoes, fried spinach (if you're not sure if you'll like the wasabi dressing, get it on the side or substitute it but trust me - all the flavours work SO well). And they're serving it w/ local Almaltheia goat cheese - WOW - local supporting local! 2nd favourite is the Thai Chicken Peanut Salad w/ fried spinach. The dressing is the bomb! I could drink it. Everything here is fabulous. It's likely the most affordable good meal in Bozeman. My favorites are Grandma's Mac, Zorbas, Tokyo Hotpot, and Pad Thai. The seared tuna-citrus-chevre salad is likely the best salad in Bozeman - and would easily cost 5-10 more elsewhere. Good vegetarian options. I was looking for authentic noodles, and I should've turned myself around when I saw three white highschoolers behind the counter, and walls covered in getty image stock art of 'noodles'. Alas I did not turn around, my hunger overpowered my gut instincts and I made my way to the counter to order. I wanted Udon drunken noodle but the closest I could get was lo mein, so I went with that. Im not sure what their definition of "lo mein" was, because I received frozen out of the bag vegetables with overcooked from the bag chicken, a ladle of mystery broth ontop of unseasoned noodles. All for the steep price of $20. If you are looking for unseasoned noodles, some random stock broth with frozen veggies, this is your one stop shop. If you are looking for authetic noodles, please save yourself and never go here. I've heard the macs good tho, but I can't vouch. read more

I recently ordered takeout from Naked Noodle in Bozeman, my experience was quite disappointing. After hearing good things about the restaurant, I was excited to try their Asian noodles. When I opened my takeout order, I found that the sauce had leaked out of the container and soaked through the bag. This was not a minor spill; the sauce went everywhere. It left my car a mess that was frustrating to clean up.I think the restaurant needs to reevaluate how they package their takeout orders to prevent this from happening. It's a shame because the food had great potential. I won't be returning for takeout anytime soon unless this issue is addressed. read more

This was a great find, the reviews were pretty bad when we first read them. We wanted something warm a soup like, the dishes we got were delicious and the employees were very helpful in making our choices. I think you gotta be open minded when eating here, there is different types of cuisine fir different tastes, we stuck to the Asian noodle dishes, surprisingly good choices. Small, unassuming place but full of fun pics, exposed brick walls, and very friendly and welcoming staff. They have many options which I'm sure are great, but my wife and I both ordered the pad Thai. Now, we love Thai food and get Pad Thai very often. I don't think this is an exaggeration when I say this might be in the top 5 or even very top Pad Thai we've ever tasted. It's very balanced in its sweet-to-savory ratio. We also added extra peanuts and lime at the end (it's a nice touch for all the meals to come with 3 free additional toppings at the end). I had lunch here with my two daughters, ages 5 & 10. We absolutely loved our meals and were impressed by how fresh, simple and delicious everything was. My daughters split a Pad Thai with tofu and I had the Buddha bowl with tofu, plus the free extras of the spinach, black beans, and peanuts. The spinach was to die for. My kids couldn't stop eating from my plate (turns out it's because the leaves are deep fried - making them taste like chips.) The staff and owner were all totally lovely. Naked Noodle is a must when I'm in town. The staff is always kind, the food is fairly consistent, and the prices are pretty fair. I went with my husband and friend recently and we rolled in (regrettably) about 15 min before they closed. We were prepared to leave if they said they were winding down but they were more than happy to help and insisted we order. I got the Thai green curry, which is my usual order. They were out of tofu so I ordered an egg, which they accidentally put on a different order. The staff was happy to make it right, though, and quickly fried an egg for me. All of us were pretty happy with our orders. I will say that I tend to leave with a slight stomach ache and I think it's because they use a ton of butter in their sauces. While I watched, each pan of ingredients got about a 1/3-1/2 cup of butter in it. That seems like a lot and my stomach doesn't fully agree. Overall, this is a really solid place with kind and gracious employees. You can customize your dish, too, which is a big plus. read more

Great spot with tons of options for being so small. Food was absolutely delicious and a healthy portion. I love that they let you add toppings to the noodles as well. Mac was very creamy and cheesy. Thai Green Curry with tofu had tons of veggies and tasted very fresh. The workers were friendly, albeit slightly unstructured due to a lot happening in the kitchen right by where they are taking orders. Lots of vegetarian options! We did notice that some vegetarian options on the menu were not marked as vegetarian and had to clarify with a worker that they did not contain meat. I had the Zorba the Greek listed under Curious Ethnicity on the menu. It was listed as Gluten Free if you wanted noodles made from rice. The dish had a mixture of white wine, capers, kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, spinach, garlic, and butter. Tossed with feta cheese and penne pasta. The dish was quite good. The restaurant had an open kitchen that was in full view from where I sat. Interesting to see them operate. I noticed a sign in the bathroom about free food for a year. All you had to do was bring in a recipe that they liked and would use in the restaurant and you could eat free the rest of 2009. Yes, yes, and yes you should go here! This place was amazing for food! It has an array of options of noodle based dishes from Pad Thai to their own unique pasta dishes! It's been a while since I've ate at a restaurant due to the coronavirus so I was definitely on edge making sure they were following all the rules. Short answer they were and I greatly appreciated that. Everyone had face masks the seating was very spaced out and they had very beautiful outside seating where we sat at. For the food I had the buddha noodles and added bacon for some meat. The noodles were cooked very well and loved the flavor from it. I also appreciated how healthy the food options were. They only complaint I have is the food is pricey for the portion you get. However the delicious noodles does make it worth it! Overall come eat here. Gaucho is very good, feels like Mexican style. My husband added beef and it matched well. I ordered Lyn's-guini and calm. It was good but the spinach fettuccine was way too soft. Next day for lunch, we ordered take away. My husband had gaucho with beef again. I had New Beef Stroganoff. IT WAS SUPER FLAVORFUL!!! Very good value for the food. Very yummy pasta. You get 3 free toppings and they are fresh! Took 1.5 stars off because: 1. The tables were dirty when we went there for dinner. I had to clean the table myself with napkins. 2. The take away paper boxes are very FLIMSY. Those paper boxes are not supposed to carry hot pasta with water sauce. The box broke after a few minutes and all the sauce leaked into the plastic bag. Food Appetizer - None this night. Main Course - Went with Gaucho Combo. Their takeout menu description; Chipotle cream sauce & cavatappi pasta with black beans, corn, scallions, roasted red peppers and tortilla chips. To me it was a spin on the classic mac & cheese. The chipotle gave a hint of heat nothing too much. The beans and corn were not over powering. The combo game with a side salad and I went with the citrus vinaigrette, and it was really good. Dessert - stuffed. Service - The young lady behind the counter was very happy and friendly. The food was served promptly after we ordered. There are many things I miss about Bozeman now that I have moved away...but I miss the food the most. A lot. Naked Noodle is a restaurant I dream of, crave often and consider taking a trip back to Bozeman just so I can eat there. Maybe every meal. I usually always got the Mac and Cheese and added tomatoes and whatever else struck my fancy. I rarely strayed from the norm but that was because the norm was just way too good. This was a favorite place to take visiting friends and family because it was fast, tasty, reasonably priced and usually a new experience for most as a gourmet (yes, I believe it is) pasta bar-type restaurant tends to be unique.
