The pizza was extremely fresh and delicious. I usually leave the crust, but it was so good that I had to eat it.

Me and my family are traveling. We stopped to get something quick to eat. This place didn't disappoint my taste buds. The service was quick and pleasant. They were short on staff, but the pizza came out quickly. We sat outside listening to some music and enjoying the cool but warm air. We love family trips in the Fall to this area of the country and often find ourselves staying in Hot Springs. There aren't a lot of restaurants, but there are enough around to get a nice variety of food. Look for the locals! Big Time Pizza was great! I really just wanted some pizza and I didn't want to visit a chain. It's maybe a bit more expensive, but I mean, where ya gonna get buffalo pizza? I ordered the BIG TA TANKA from Big Time Pizza 100% Lean Buffalo, Fresh Green Peppers, Sweet Onion, Fresh Mushroom, Meaty Bacon and took it back to our hotel. It was delicious! Veteran-owned. We got the cheeseburger pizza. The small was plenty for two people. Only downside of the pizza was the ground beef fat made the bottom crust a little soggy. Service was nice and friendly. For made to order pizza it came out fast and was super hot. read more

Pizza- We ordered a large pepperoni pizza that was overall pretty good, not super greasy, crust was nice and fluffy and light. Lacked a bit of taste, but overall pretty darn good. 8/10. Service- Placed a to-go order and when I arrived the worker was not the friendliest. Ushered me to my pizza waiting for me, and seemed a bit annoyed perhaps that I was there. I shrugged it off, maybe they were just having an off day. Ambiance- can't say much as I ordered to go, but not a lot of parking options, other than the street. This place is absolutely awesome. Veteran owned and operated. The pizza had a very New York coal-fired type of feel. Very crisp crust on the bottom and a little bit of char on the sides. Honestly, this was some of the best pizza I have ever had and I eat pizza every week, if not multiple times a week. When on vacation, I always try to seek out mom and Pop places, and this was clearly that, as the owner had her son there along with her father I believe who made our pizza and is a Vietnam Veteran. Everyone was friendly and the meal was outstanding and fairly priced. Highly recommended. They also have a very good selection of local beers and wine. read more

The pizza is unique and amazingly tasty. The service is super friendly. It's your typical pizza place with the exception that the pizza here is some of the best I've had. There is a really nice outdoor patio that allows pets. You have to try the Big Tatanka or the Buffalo Stampede. We were initially warned away from this place by some well meaning locals but we ended up following our stomachs and I'm so glad we did!! Easily some of the best pizza I've had in a while and they also offers a few delicious local beers in tap (and wine for you non beer drinkers). Definitely recommend checking this place out. We were initially told a 25 min wait for (fresh!) pizza but it was actually less than 10 though I would have happily waited the full 25! Just a heads up to y'all with a time constraint. read more

We are from out of state and decided to stay in Hot Springs for the night. We really wanted pizza and decided on Big Time Pizza. The pizza is great however the customer service is less than desirable. We walked in and was not even greeted. We ordered our pizza, salad and my husband got a beer and my daughter and I got water. The bill came to 53.00!!. They gave us paper plates and plastic ware and a sticky note with our number on it. We had small plastic cups (12oz) we had to serve ourself for water. We sat down in their "main" dining room. When the salad was brought out it was brought out in a styrofoam container and it was only enough for 1 person. Then the pizza came out and it was in a carry out box!!! It was at this point we decided to get up and take the pizza back to our hotel room. The people running this place really need to train in customer service and figure out if its a pizza place a wine store or a coffee shop. Big Time Pizza needs the help of RESTAURANT IMPOSSIBLE and Robert Irvine!! read more

Came at a very odd time with heavy rain outside. but was welcomed with a warm smile and the best pizza I have ever had. And trust me I've had pizzas from California all the way to New York, but have never had something this good. I'm a person who hates the crust but they had the mode Flavorful crust. It may not be the fancy pizza places like you expected. The inside is very hometown feel and friendly. The owner was singing and occasionally playing music of her daughter's beautiful voice singing. The pizzas are not overly salty and we love the crust and not too doughy. I saw some people are complaining about sandwiches on the reviews. Surprisingly good pizza for a small SD town. We had the 20" pepperoni and really enjoyed it. The crust had a nice chew and toppings were generous. Stopped in and ordered the veggie pizza. I have to say- this is probably the best midwestern style pizza I've come across- primarily due to the crust. I doubt I'll find better. It's a very light yet slightly thick crust, no flop, crispy and chewy. They brush the edge lightly with garlic butter and dust it with grated parmesan. The crust in the center of the pie is thinner but not cracker thin, yet crispy with no flop. They added plenty of sauce but could have been slightly more generous with the veggies. They went out of their way to make sure our customized requests were accommodated. In all it was a very pleasant experience and we enjoyed talking with some of the family/owners. read more
