To contradict what Ramona j put, I am a neighbor and was aware of everything that was going on. Big Toe Towing was sent out here for an inoperable vehicle. Turns out the owner of the car lied to the company and told them the road was clear. Let me make one thing beyond crystal clear. He couldn't drive his all wheel drive vehicle up the mountain road that leads to most of our homes because of how icy and steep it is. The original driver was really kind and caring, he tried so hard to get that guy out so he could spend New Years with his family and ended up getting stuck around 4pm. Also I should mention cell service is beyond spotty up here. When the owner of the company came out it was closer to 630 and the sun had already gone down. This makes our road flat out dangerous. I overheard Romona and her husband belittling the owner and driver telling them this is f**king ridiculous you guys can't do anything right; you should learn how to use your equipment. Mind you they weren't involved in this other than heckling this company. The owner tried until midnight with no avail to get his other tow truck unstuck and on the road. They showed up at noon today during the warmest part of the day and brought enough equipment they would for sure be able to get The tow truck and guys car out. It wasn't a flex on a recovery but instead of having to run back down the mountain to grab something they came prepared! What an amazing sight it was watching these guys in their accuracy and determination. They were all friendly, even when Ramona cussed at them and while her husband videoed them the ENTIRE time today... these new neighbors are shity and I can't believe they would meddle in someone else's affairs. read more

I just had this company tow my motorcycle to a mechanic in Denver on January 16th, 2021 at 1:30pm. The tow drivers name was Koda the truck info was MC116747, PUC-T T-04357, License plate #AFFC40. The driver drove past my garage, I attempted to wave him down. He didn't see me. He called my phone he was yelling and screaming profanities and threatening violence. He was angry because I wasn't at the entrance of the garage to wave him down as he drove by. He turned around and pulled up to me and from the window he insulated me and verbally threatened to attack me. He parked his truck and ran at me, he got in my face , he raised his fists and threatened to kill me! I backed away slowly and attempted to deescalate the situation but he was too irrational. I asked him leave. He didn't. He calmed down enough to load up the motorcycle. I was too afraid of him to protest! He is an extremely violent person. I will be filing a police report! read more

If I can give zero stars I would. My insurance company Allstate schedule my tow and quoted 50 min. I signed a release form with the impound lot so Big Toe can pick up our truck without me being present. The front desk lady told us that this company has a reputation of no show. We derided you stick around and left for a drink and came back. We called them when we got back to see if the driver is on the way and the dispatcher said the driver was already there waited for 20 min and now has left. We checked with the front desk and she said no one showed. When I called out the dispatcher lies that the driver has been there and waited and left she got upset and used profanity. I've reported the incident with Allstate and am warning people not to use this company. They are bunch of crooks who didn't show up to the job and still bill the insurance company as GOA read more

The worst customer service and extremely rude. Not only did they make the mistake which caused the whole mishap but they tried to blame me and called me a bottom dollar paying customer and many other vulgar names because I was using my roadside assistance which is included in my insurance coverage. The pick up time was at 1pm May 4, 2019 I didn't get my truck dropped off at the drop off point till May 5, 2019 8:30am and that was hell just to even get a response text or phone call they blocked both the numbers I was calling from the man on the phone called me a stupid b**** because they didn't enter my information right they didn't have the right number. I even tried to give the driver a paper with the contact info of where it was going and he refused it. I felt so insulted and totally discriminated against. Zero customer service skills. read more

I can not say enough about Mario at Big Toe Towing. My son's truck broke down in such a way that he was half way into the street and we could not move the truck. After dealing with another towing company, being strung along for over two hours, our insurance sent out Big Toe. Mario contacted us right away, he gave us his name (the other place didn't even do that small courtesy), told us everything would be ok, and he would be to us within 30 minutes. Mario took the extra time to explain what he was doing and ensure he did the tow properly so as not to further damage the tire and front end of the truck. Mark has excellent customer service, ethics, knowledge, and care for vehicles he transports. Jason, the owner, also provides top-notch customer and vehicle care. As an aside, a tow is not just a tow. I found this out the hard way by using Progressive auto insurance for Roadside Assistance towing unfortunately, saving a bit of money for a lot of headache in the end as the worst of the worst tow companies grab those insurance tickets and your vehicle (and transmission) can suffers greatly from sub par service. Liz was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding which services we would need to tow our 40 ft RV from Buena Vista Colorado through the mountains to Aurora Colorado. Brian was always in communication and showed up on time with a trailer to load our rig. He was very experienced, polite and in spite of the heat and wind we were on our way within a short time. I called Big Toe because they were the closest service to me. The dispatcher was very nice. I was very shaken up after my tire blew and sent me into the ditch and then into oncoming traffic. But the driver came right away and was very comforting. He hooked up the car and took it to the dealership to turn in the keys. Best service ever!!! These guys towed our Dodge camper conversion for us through AAA, and were amazing! The dispatcher called ahead of time to gather information about the vehicle, to ensure that they had the correct truck to tow it. Once it was picked up, he kept in contact to update me on the status. Upon delivery, the driver went above and beyond to drop it on our RV pad. It took several steps of maneuvering wood blocks to get it in place. First rate, class act company! ABSOLUTELY AVOID BIG TOE TOWING ... The company informed us that the wait for service would be 90 minutes. They did not arrive to tow our vehicle for 4 hours from the intiail call. Due to improper handling during the unloading process it caused damage to my vehicle. When we called to get their insurance information to file a claim they simply told us they did not have proof of insurance and became immediately belligerent blaiming us and saying they did not cause any damage. Fast, knowledgeable, professional, kind and economical! We found ourselves suddenly, in a dangerous and scary situation. Our RV 5th wheel and pick-up truck were in danger of tipping over. The RV was at a 90 deg angle to our truck bed and uphill. The truck had slid sideways and could get no traction. Jason arrived, safely and slowly worked us up and out. AWESOME service. Got our 40ft 5th wheel camper and pickup stuck making a tight turn out of a campground. We were at serious risk for rollover, as the front of our pickup slid into the ditch.
