When I asked about the cost of swapping tires from my current wheels to new ones, they gave me a clear, upfront price of $150 for all four tires. On top of that, they even advised me to check with the wheel seller about the offset to see if spacers might be needed. He prefers other contact methods :) I just needed my tires checked because the tire light went on. I pulled up and he was able to fill the air in my tires super quick!! I also asked if he does windshield wipers (Since the rain is starting to come in and I need them replaced), and even though he didn't sell them he gave me recommendations as to where I can purchase them, and offered to even put them on for me if I couldn't figure it out. Barry is the best!!! I got 4 new tires from him last year and this morning, dropped off my car because I had a flat tire from a nail. His quotes are reasonable and it's an added bonus that his place is so close to where I live, that I can drop off my car and walk home. He not only patched up my tire, but he noticed my air pressure light was on and put air in all 4 of my tires. He's honestly the sweetest!!! After filling my front drivers side tire with air two days prior, I had noticed my computer was stating that my air pressure was low again. I happened to be going to Nutley to run a few errands and decided to look up a tire place there to bring my truck to. I stumbled upon Bradley's and called to see if they could look at my tire or if I needed to make an appointment. I was told, "Come right in-no problem" When I got there I was greeted by the owner. He was pleasant and had one of his guys come right out to take care of me and see what the problem was with my tire. As I had expected, they found a nail in my tire that was causing the leak. My tire was repaired for me while I waited maybe a half hour. The price was definitely fair and they didn't try to sell me on other unneeded services as most other places do when you come in for a quick fix. I found this business to be honest, accommodating, customer service oriented with comparable pricing. As I paid for the tire the owner then mentioned they guarantee their work. I'm just updating this yelp review, and would like to thank Barry at Big Wheels, about checking some suspension noises coming from my 2016 Honda Civic. I already have coilovers, and he took sometime to inspect any noises or causes it might be. Him & I, did noticed a few things but nothing too major. Also, I was already due for some tires, and he noticed them also. So i placed an order with him, and did some price matching and purchased a whole new set. They called me once they received the tires and recommended me to get them installed asap since they were gonna be closed for 4 days in a row. Had a flat tire to replace and i found big wheels on Waze and decide to give it a try. Barry was friendly, very knowledgeable about tires and a down to earth kind of guy that is willing to help. The flat tire was actually torn so I had to get a new one and instead of just going on line to get a new tire and charge me more, Barry offered a used one he got in his stock and got me back on the road in 20 minutes while helping me save some money. He could have offered me a new wheel and charge me more and I would have done it but instead he had the customer in mind versus his own profit. He even offered a few tips and advice. Brought my car here to remove a nail and patch the tire. Great place and service First, it was a flat $15/ea + $2 disposal fee. Really difficult to beat this. Second, when you get tires mounted and balanced, you want a shop to use a "road force" balancer. This allows the installer to determine if the tire is true (or out of round) and balance the tire better. This works by pressing weight against the tire and makes sure when it's balanced - it's balanced. When you get a tire balanced and they simply spin the tire and add weights, it's balanced on the machine. However if the tire is egg shaped, you can make it spin correctly but when you drive, it'll thump like crazy. I guess this is why this crazy machine costs $20,000+ Third, call them to make an appointment. You'll be in and out in about an hour! The worst part? Finding it. It's on the LEFT side as you come up Tasman. Drive up and around the building, walk to the front and you're good to go Thanks Chris! read more

That being said, I realize they don't stay in business from the one time every 2 years that I'm there so I'm writing this review to not only thank Steven and his family for doing an AWESOME job, but also spread the good news that there is still a human experience despite being in a world filled with algorithms, delivery-drones and self driving cars.
