I originally pooh-poohed the place going solely by the Googly pics but OMG so glad Steve chose this place! Many plants and beautiful irises outside. BUT...I stepped INSIDE the store and the first thing I noticed was the bakery section. Okay, so only one item was gluten free (local bakery offerings) but they were lavender meringues and they were only $1 each! A super unique treat for me! Steve found the freezer with the meat. YOU MUST BUY THE MEAT! Buy ALL the BACONS! We fried up the Irish bacon today (had to find out how to cook it just right) and it was soooo good. Very different and much much much better than any store bought bacon. We also purchased Canadian bacon to try later this week. The tomatos were the first of the season. I cut one up for a tomato, spinach and brie omelette and the tomato flavor stood out. Very very good flavor! I would love (and hope to) return for produce this summer...and for eggs. Some of the items were a bit pricey for us (bacon was a steal for the quality, though) like the bourbon maple syrup and the duck pastrami however these are top notch products I have not seen anywhere else and honestly, the syrup is on my shopping list now if I do ever get back to Holbrook Farm. We also bought local coffee but haven't ground the beans yet. BTW the proprietress was very kind and patient and lovely. Please visit!

This experience was unique, Fung, and we spent the drive back, wondering how we could fit this place into our family shopping... We decided that it's a Haven for proteins, seafood, and other center of the plate and corresponding vegetable items. Perhaps it's our inexperience throughout the store, but it seemed very difficult to find standard pantry items in sizes or quantities that would make sense for an active family We very much enjoyed the atmosphere, the samples were marvelous, the energy, and the staff We are very happy we went, and look forward to going back, and there is no comparison to Wegmans as it seems it's in a similar but slightly different category of functionality

I'll have to go back because my first time I was overwhelmed by all there was to see and do. First, there were a lot of sample stations so I loved that. Next, there are so many interactive displays with chickens singing and flowers playing instruments...also someone dressed as a cow was schmoozing with toddlers. I got some great food there and the prices also seemed reasonable. Their bakery section stood out to me as well as their dairy. Will definitely check it out again if I'm on the east side of town.

Whoah! How times have changed. I used to get 4 banh mi under $20. Wow. How I took all that for granted. Now gotta spend almost 50% more. Thanks inflation and horrible economic times. But..... I can't survive without my Asian food. Place is clean, organized and they're still working on restocking the shelves.

I've bought their fresh pizza dough many times and it is better than everywhere else - including Stew's and Costco. The food court people are friendly as is the lady at the fish counter. Friday's fried shrimp special is 40 pieces and made fresh to order while you shop. The baked goods are fresh, the special sales on things like Carbone sauce are a real bargain and the reward points add up to real dollar savings.

Upon entering, the entire left wall is covered with candies and sweets, to the right are aisles of different packaged foods (chips, crackers,jelly, cookies, etc.), cold drinks, teas, and even an area with frozen (Bangers) and other cold items. There is even a small section of gift items and toiletries from the UK. This is a great place to come if you have a homesick friend or family member and you want to create a gift to remind them of home. It is also a great place to find all of the snacks you've heard of but didn't know where to find them. I was even lucky enough to find my (Canadian) Coffee Crisp bar.
