Bigg Daddys is a great sports bar and Tavern. They have really good wings with a ton of flavors to choose from. Not many places open late around her but this place is open past midnight. Definitely a convinient and delicious place to eat at in Cornelia. read more

cornelia location- food was really bad. I ordered shrimp & grits, which was supposed to have andouille sausage and be spicy. I am willing to swear that the sausage was just a bunch of cut up hotdogs, because I've never had flavorless andouille cut up in slivers before... we didn't get our sides and another person at the table got chicken and waffles-- very poorly seasoned and just not good. In addition to a disappointing meal, it was pretty expensive. Don't bother unless you don't care about paying lots for a subpar meal. read more

Some of the best burgers that I have tasted in a long time! They give you a mound of fries and you just can't eat it all with the massive burger. I was not expecting much because the place is a bit spaced out, and warehouse like. There was a young girl with short curly hair who was the hostess on my night. Although she was "nice", she was not customer service friendly. She walked way ahead of us to the table and laid our menus down and said nothing past that. Even when we walked out of the restaurant, she did not even bid us a good night. After we finished our meal, they came by and cleared our table very quickly. I got the sense that they were trying to turn the tables over quickly as soon as people left, the tables were cleared very fast however; we were still sitting there so my mind wandered a bit... Given the location, there are many, very few, minorities there. That is not big daddy's fault however; when things happen like quick clear of the table and the hostess responding the way that she did; your mind can't help but wander. The saving grace is that everyone else was pretty nice. Our waitress, I can't remember her name but she was a very pretty blonde lady, was exceptionally attentive and had a great smile! Service was terrible! Rarely had my drink refilled and the main waiter was not helpful. There was a young woman and trainee that were kind and helpful, but rarely saw our waiter until it was time to pay the bill at which point he asked if the cash tip on the table was for him and he snatched it up and took it. Food was under cooked, wife ordered a burger medium and was served rare. I ordered the hot wings which had too much sauce on them and were not very good. Received 12 pieces of a 15 wing order. We were driving through the area and came here on a Thursday afternoon based on Google Maps reviews. We walked in and there were only a handful of people in there. We got great service sitting at the bar and lunch was amazing. She got a burger and I got tacos. We both really liked what we got. I ordered the Norwegian Wildcaught Salmon! Wow, I can't even find this in Florida. And forget about it at Longhorns. For sides I got the house salad and steamed broccoli. The first thing I asked was about the oil they would use on the Salmon. It is soybean oil. Uh oh, Monsanto GMO and hydroginated There goes my omega 3 and not to mention the fatty acids spawned by that process. So I asked if they could cook it in butter. ( I'm doing Keto lifestyle). No problem they said. So first the salad came out. Lovely, crisp, fresh flavorful greens with a nice mound of finely chopped tomatoes, onions, croutons and cheese. (croutons aren Keto but they looked good). Too bad though the blue cheese dressing was prepackaged with little flavor. The broccoli was steamed to perfection and the Salmon was nicely prepared with a sweet tamest of butter ( although it didn't taste wild caught) The waitstaff there I liked- very friendly, courteous and prompt. The atmosphere is clean, upscale, with a long granite bar with two TVs over reflective mirrors. Something like chick mountain man music was live in the background. But you could still enjoy your conversations with friends. All this for $20. I left full and happy. read more

Been here several times and although it takes a while to get your food, it is worth the wait. We love the Eskimo Pie-a pizza with smoked salmon, mushrooms, capers and a Parmesan cream sauce. Our server always remembers my drink order and is super sweet. Also she remembers what she recommended the last time! Can't ask for better than that! read more

Good grief. What an ENORMOUS chicken sandwich! I'm talking about the GA Clucker, and it was SOOO delicious! I got it with onion rings, and they were crunchy and perfectly cooked. The hubs had the Zombie pizza, and dang! Best pizza he's had in a while. Oh, we started with fried calamari that was obviously prepared properly because it was tender and delicious. Don't forget a frosty adult beverage to go with your meal. When you visit. Ask to sit outside if the weather's nice and ask for Emerald as your server - she is AWESOME!!! Great experience in historic downtown Cornelia and is really the only nice place to eat in this area as this town is dominated by "hone cooking". So relatively , this place is expensive but the portion size, atmosphere, and food quality definitely justify the price. I support this place and the revival of historic downtown so I hope it sticks around. read more

When I originally started dinning at this establishment the food was amazing. For sometime prior to the pandemic, their food and service has steadily declined. I've noticed they can't keep the same staff . I brought my family in and we are of Hispanic culture. We weren't treated very well and the food was horrible. We had this one waitress who seemed to be the only one who would wait on us. She was older than the others yet she was doing her best and was being driven like a slave. She wasn't getting any assistance and was given multiple large parties. Unfortunately she fell behind and I noticed the manager on duty who did nothing to assist called her to the kitchen. She never returned to finish serving our table. I had asked where she was as she was kind to use and seemed to be the only waitress who would serve our larger party. Her co-worker told us she was sent home. Sending her home didn't help matters nor our dinning experience. The service went further south and we were given another waitress who was on her phone more than attending the patrons. I understand the pandemic has turned dinning upside down. However the discrimination and the mistreatment of anyone is unacceptable. I hope y'all learn from this and fix the situation. I do not promote this establishment anymore. I hope their Helen location serves it's patrons much better. read more

Boneless wings were terrible nothing but breading cooked hard would break your teeth McDonalds chicken nuggets would have been better. Tacos looked like a salad could not see anything but lettuce. Draft beer was warm. Gouda Mac and cheese was cold cheese wasn't melted. Waiter was ok. read more

I got food for takeout so no comment on the service although the person on the phone was very nice. However, the food is the epitome of meh. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that Bigg Daddy's was in Cornelia!!! We have always visited the Helen location and had Waffles and Whiz and Wings. On our last visit we watched as other food came out of the kitchen and were determined to expand our favorites on our next trip. So, we got the Drunken Yard Bird to share because we knew it was large portions...we still took half the bird home!!! Definitely is a multi-person meal! This was our first time here and it was great! We were seated promptly and our waiter was at our table within three minutes. They have a wide array of options on the menu; anything from burgers to pizza to fish and chips. The bar doesn't disappoint either; great selection of craft and domestic beer, plus any kind of mixed drink you could ask for. We started out with calamari with sweet Thai chili sauce and it was crispy perfection. For our meals we had the rocky top burger and mild wings. So my friend and i visited tonight and had a BLAST! The food was excellent but what really made it awesome was the service! Emerald, Sabrina, and Marvin were so much fun and super attentive. My uncle actually knew we were there and ordered us "shots" over the phone. It was actually water with salt and a lime, lolllllll. Marvins goofy ass played along and honestly made the night even better and funnier once we realized we were taking a selfie with water and salt. Hahaha, you'll have a great time here. We have been to Bigg Daddy's about 25 times or so. The food has usually been good but service is always slow and really not that good. Not sure how to put it but basically they make you feel guilty for asking them to take your order, get another drink, etc. About 80% of the time we got our food before any silverware. A runner brings it out and the servers cannot be found. Sometimes the food is cold, wrong, or whatever. We really want to like this place and keep coming here but if there was another option in the area we would change. I gave it 4 stars instead of 2 beacuse I really do like the place, it just needs someone managing it to care more about it. read more

The review is solely on there customer service, went to this location today around 12:45 and was told that we would have to wait for a table. Took a quick walk around the restaurant and there was (2) 6 top table open, and there was (4) high top tables pulled together. Asked the host why we are waiting for a table and she told me that those tables hold 6 and we had a party of 4 and they are waiting on the church crowd to come in so they would not pull the high tops apart or sit us at a 6 top table. So you are telling me that we need to sit here and wait for other people to come in and sit down. Needless to say we did not wait and they will never get my family's business again. read more

Food was really tasty and portions were really large. Doesn't really seem like they're adhering to restaurant reopening guidelines coming out of Covid 19. Waitress had a mask but not covering her nose. Wore a latex glove on left hand not right, which she used to put drink glasses on table by grasping around drinking lip. Tables weren't spaced to the guideline of 10 people per 300 sq ft. I counted at least 25 people in that area surrounding our table.
