Because they didn't have decaf, I went ahead and ordered a regular coffee, and I have to say, it was very good. We weren't quite sure what we wanted, and the girl helping us was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. She really took her time with us, which I appreciated. I asked for a s'mores-inspired drink since that's my favorite flavor profile, and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered a maple bourbon latte with almond milk, and he loved his as well. We didn't stay this visit, but we did ask about seating and confirmed that they are pet-friendly on their patio. It's a smaller patio, but I always love when a place offers a space to hang out that's also welcoming to pets. Overall, great coffee, great service, and a welcoming vibe--definitely worth checking out.

She commented vile things on a photo of my daughter (posted several weeks prior so she had to search for it) because of a situation that occurred at a local Dunkin, that IN NO WAY involved me. She assumed that since I work for the management company (in no way involved in operations or anything at the store level) that I must be supporting racist actions of a customer. She believes she was protecting my daughter by trying to get her photo removed from a public Facebook page, but all she did was draw negative light and attention to my daughter. After the Hanahan Rec Department, another individual, and myself replied to her comments and put her in her place, she deleted her comments, but I have yet to receive an apology from her. I cannot believe another mother would post such things that could potentially bring negative attention and hate to a child. I will never give Mrs Doughnut or the attached Philly cheesesteak shop any of my business, and I have made my friends, family, and coworkers aware of Joanna's actions. Say all you want about Dunkin. Hell, say all you want about me, but if you bring my child into a situation, you are playing with fire.

It has meat and cheese so the protein is there! Plus, I throw a couple pieces of my snackin bacon on top to make for a little extra crunchy deliciousness for my sliders. Their snackin bacon is where it's at. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out. Especially if you like bacon. I'm very particular with my bacon. It usually has to be burnt to a crisp for me to eat it because the texture of fat grosses me out. I love the snackin bacon here. The woman working said that the ones on the left were monthly specials and the ones on the right were always available. I chose one of the monthly specials, Chocolate Covered Strawberry. It's just one day before Valentine's Day. I got my shake and it looked so cute. It had strawberry syrup swirled in the cup so it looked striped with the red syrup and the brown of the chocolate in the shake. She gave me whipped cream with red heart shaped sprinkles on top. How sweet. I loved the presentation. The woman working was very nice. The shake tastes good. I recommend.

To be honest I moved back to the area roughly a year ago and I've noticed Scooters coffee from…read moreafar. Finally my curiosity has been fulfilled and the short of the matter is, it's really good! Located in a precarious location but in a safe but albeit lonely (at least how my mind sees it) place which can be a nightmare if you need to leave in a specific direction. The exterior seems well kept and I believe it's a little gem that I feel fortunate enough to have finally experienced. Typically I stick by my diet however I decided branch out and try the bacon and gouda egg bites. Wow, these are really good and low in carbs! Be careful, I made the mistake of tearing into mine and it was HOT. After letting it cool to non-volcanic temps, I was able to enjoy a simple symphony of satisfying selections snuggly stuffed in a small snack (try to put that many "S"s into first words... not easy). The egg hit, followed by the creaminess of the cheese and while I don't care for bacon, it was well balanced. Moreover, it wasn't really "eggy" in texture which is awesome. Two thumbs up. As for the coffee. Well after having coffee at another location which wasn't good (if you hunt down my reviews, you'll see it) I was ready for something epic or at least better. So this doctor Evil got to work I decided on a Latte with two shots of salted caramel, one vanilla, one hazelnut and finally one toasted marshmallow. I hate giving away my pure genius but "if you love something set it free...." There you have it, one of the best concoctions you'll ever try. The smoothness of the latte was elevated by the saltiness and sweetness of the caramel while the vanilla and hazelnut offered just that background favor to keep the tastebuds curious and the toasted mallow gave a hit of fire roasted burnt to the equation. Yes I'm complimenting myself but they have the ingredients on hand and mixed it. Kudos to them. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised how good the coffee is here. Moreover, the people are extremely friendly and the service is fast. At the window the lady was nice saying words from an ancient dialect like "please, thank you, you're welcome" and so on. Meeting up for a coffee date I got to Magnolias a little early to settle in. The place is interesting and seems authentic, not like those damn yuppy and pretentious coffee shops with the late 90s liberal sitting in the corner writing the next "great American novel." No, this is a place pregnant ladies come with their family to get some coffee and what appears to be really good food. The place has nice wood tones on the floors and tables with simple seating and fake plants, which I can appreciate b/c I too have fake plants at my house b/c I kill live ones! I got there when a much younger late 20 something was working so I tried to spark up a conversation. The young lady looked American, blonde and cute but when she spoke pure Latino! Oddly enough I was meeting a 33-year-old Latino for our first date here (yes, I brushed up on my Spanish, but I just moved from Austin so np here). She was a nice lady but she did forget about my drink order so not as good of a barista as one might desire. But honestly, I was superficial at the moment and she was cute so I overlooked the imperfection. The case had some tasty looking treats like croissants but I refrained. My advice is try one! While I'm a medium roast coffee kind of guy and I like my coffee like the women I date; hot, sweet and blonde. My favorite drinks are the Iced brown sugar oat milk and strawberry açaí with lemonade refresher. Their danish is really good too, especially when they warm it up for you. I like the idea, that some days they have buy 4 drinks for $20 No matter what size.
