I come to this Dunkin a lot now that I live in Goooooooose Creek. It is conveniently located on St James Ave near the South State Bank. You turn in at the same driveway as the bank, but then go right instead of left. You'll see it. It's hard to miss. Lately, my order has been this: * Turtle Signature Latte, Hot * 2 Pack of Ham & Swiss Pretzel Sliders * Snackin Bacon * 1 Donut Not every Dunkin will make the Turtle Signature Latte for you. It's one of those secret menu items that only certain stores have the recipe to make. This store is one of them. I think it's their butter pecan mixed with their caramel flavoring. It's so good. I have been getting the ham & swiss pretzel sliders since they came out a few months ago. They are amazing. Pretzel bun with ham and cheese and mustard. It's sweet and savory. It has meat and cheese so the protein is there! Plus, I throw a couple pieces of my snackin bacon on top to make for a little extra crunchy deliciousness for my sliders. Their snackin bacon is where it's at. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out. Especially if you like bacon. I'm very particular with my bacon. It usually has to be burnt to a crisp for me to eat it because the texture of fat grosses me out. I love the snackin bacon here. It's seriously so good, not even that crispy, seasoned just right, and not that fatty. Love it so much. I order it every time. They always have several donuts to choose from. I like it when the seasonal donuts are around, like the Easter ones I have posted. I enjoy the maple donuts a lot. I like the chocolate filled powdered donuts. I love the Bavarian Cream donuts as well, which is similar to custard filled at Krispy Kreme. Speaking on Krispy Kreme, I used to be team KK and anti DD. However, my mind has totally been changed. I never go to Krispy Kreme anymore. I realized Dunkin has way better coffee, as well as lots of other food options besides donuts. Dunkin is a better place to go to get a real meal. I prioritize protein in my diet. Where is the protein at Krispy Kreme? I literally have to get chocolate milk just to get protein there. Lame. I'm team Dunkin Donuts nowadays. Horrible, Worst Experience! They already have a 2.5 star rating, so why did I expect anything more??? Waited in Drive-Thru over 10+ minutes for 2 cars ahead of me to get to the window and the cashier says we "ain't" got no blueberry muffin, do you want a pumpkin. Well if I wanted a pumpkin muffin, I would've ordered one. No I said; I hate anything pumpkin, do you have any other flavors. No, not today she said! I asked, please give me a refund for the muffin. She had no freaking idea how to refund Apple Pay! Then she calls the 350 lb. manager, who waddles over to the register and she tried for 3-4 minutes; horns blowing behind me, but she couldn't figure it out. They asked if I had my phone set on tap mode and I just rolled my eyes and said yes I certainly do. After burning more than three dollars of gas in my 8 cylinder truck, I just said give me the pumpkin muffin and I'll give it to my dog rather than burn more gas sitting here waiting on you. Then the cashier handed me my pumpkin muffin, my now cold macchiato, my wrap & my 10 glazed donut holes, but when I look at them, 5 of 10 were pumpkin. Needless to say, they had to pick them up off the floor while I waited on 10 more glazed donut holes. I will drive 30 minutes to avoid ever buying from this truly pathetic, nasty store ever again. I'm usually very tolerant of ignorance and poor customer service these days, but this put a new level on pathetic & ignorant customer service. This is by far the best Dunkin in Charleston! Nadine is so kind, and all of the other workers always make everything right! I usually order ahead on the app before I leave my house, 5 mins away and it's always ready immediately! The customer service is fantastic and I usually only come when they have deals on the app, otherwise I stick to local. So I go here a lot. I suppose it is time for a review. When I first began stopping here, there was a particularly wonderful manager who was always on the ball. Everything ran smoothly, my order was always correct in every way, and this was the only place within 30 miles to get a bagel. I still stop here based on being conveniently on the way to work but sometimes the order is correct sometimes not, sometimes it is ready quickly, while sometimes I wait a while. This is by far one of the best places to go for coffee. The employees remember your usual order and name. They remember your children and/or animals. They are SO friendly every single time, even if they are slammed busy or short staffed. They have had to have the lobby closed a few times but I'm sure that's not only due to limited hands, but safety reasons. We haven't had a donut from DD in years. Today was quite a surprise. Most of the donuts have been renamed to fun names like (life's a party) and some are made with cake batter and a nunckin is placed on top of the donut (extra charge for those) but my kids really enjoyed them. This location is very small inside and the drive through it tight. They also have sugar free syrups and almond milk for diabetics or anyone doing a low carb diet. The sugar free syrups are, blueberry , raspberry, vanilla, toasted almond and hazelnut. We tried the toasted almond and vanilla in iced coffees both were very good. read more

Super rude employees. The "lady" if you can even call her that, gave my husband the wrong coffee and when he said so she goes "well I already made it." I always come to this location to order my coffee. I seldom order food here, but today I ordered the sausage croissant sandwich meal and was very disappointed. Watching it be cooked, I'm disappointed in how cold it was. The croissant wasn't even toasted and the cheese was still cold. Thank goodness the sausage was at least cooked. Doughnuts are completely delicious regardless what restaurant makes them. They are my kryptonite. (Yay, for Superman reference.) Anyways, this Dunkin Donuts has a really convenient drive-thru, which helps for lazy doughnut eaters to get there sweet on. The drive-thru also helps with the flow of traffic because the parking lot at this Dunkin Donuts is kind of small compared to other Dunkin Donuts that I've been too. Now, I have to say that I am always kind of skeptical about getting coffee at a doughnut shop. Although, I will admit I have tried Dunkin Donut's iced coffee and like it. Their ice coffee contains a lot of sugar and whip cream compared to a Starbucks iced coffee. It is more like a Frappuccino, in my opinion. In addition, this Dunkin Donuts is similar to all other Dunkin Donuts that I have been too. The restaurant is rather clean and the staff has decent service. Along with these attributes, this Dunkin Donuts does have a small area for customers to dine. I understand that Dunkin Donuts is not Krispy Kreme but I do recommend this Dunkin Donuts. I have been a customer at Dunkin Doughnuts from Main to Florida,and for many years. For years I would wake up and look forward to my coffee and bagel and cream cheese. There has been a marked and steady decline in the service which used to be what I would consider excellent, to inept. At this writing they get my order wrong close to 3 out of every 4 attempts. What used to be a good solid New York style bagel has become a little soft, and gummy imposter. Last but not least, what used to be a rich smooth fragrant coffee has become bitter with a watered down body. I have actually had to dump it at times. Needless to say Dunkin Donuts has lost a good customer who supported the business for most of his working years. I can't with a good conscience give Dunkin Donuts of today, and at this location, more then 1 star. read more
