I have never been to a Starbucks right after a opening but this one hit it out of the park. It was fast friendly service from the door to door experience. Clean and stocked restrooms and lovely displays. As the holidays are upon us, they were well stocked with holiday coffees, gift cards, penguin cake pops and reusable to go cups. Of course their holiday coffees and frap flavors are all in full glory and ready to be ordered up in your own way. Plenty of saying and plug in spots for those who loved free Wi-Fi. Hats off to Deidre for following my lead and cutting up with my daughter about hey order woth no prompting at all. I love funny easy going employees! No reason not to have fun! I thought this location would improve overtime and it sucks that it's the closest one to my home and I can't depend on it to go get a good cup of coffee. Once again went through the drive-through and ordered our usual, a tall caramel Frappuccino with no whip, and a tall caramel macchiato Hot. Got both drinks. The hot one was too hot to drink, which is typical that I understand. The caramel Frappuccino was nothing but vanilla syrup and milk and ice. It was disgusting so I took it back. Ask them to remake it with some coffee and caramel not thinking I should probably check my hot drink. Got it home and let it cool so I can taste it at least without scolding my tongue and yeah, it has no coffee in it either. Just milk, vanilla and I'm not even sure what that other funky flavor is, but it's not my typical caramel macchiato that I get from the other Starbucks locations. I'm not quite sure how this one stays open because I know my order alone is wrong more than it's not. When you take it back and ask them to remake it they act like it's cutting off their arm. I'm not only sick of bad Customer Service but I'm sick of never getting my order right that I pay for. Somebody needs to get it together in there. read more

We visited and the staff here was really nice, but they were a little slow. I am sure they will get better as time goes on. Second visit: Still a 3. The people were a bit more personable but still saw tables not wiped and floors not swept for the hour or so I was here. They were extremely crowded when I arrived inside, but they worked thru the crowd very well and the placed mellowed out nicely. Cudos for them staying cool. Accoustics need work as conversation creates a droning buzz from echo's. Concrete floor and sparse industrial ceiling still a turn off for me. First time visit as I play Starbucks hopscotch for extra stars. Location: Easy access from St. James Ave, but the parking is a but tight with many spots blocked by drive thru traffic when it gets busy. Interior is bigger than first thought as a stroll around inside shows more seating around the corner of the counter. Tables were never wiped in the hour I was there, and my cleaning the crumbs from my table did not seem to motivate anyone. Floor is concrete and uninspired, but I imagine it makes cleaning up a spilled coffee easier. Still, there is a chemical add in for concrete to add colors and would have broken up the drab grey. Still rated a 3 Service: Used the mobile app.No one greeted us as we entered which I had come to expect at other sites. Tables needed cleaning which was left to customers to perform. Rated a 3. Food: Caramel Macchiatto was made well and tasted great. Rate a 4. Overall I give a 3. Coffee was good but found it lacking in that Starbucks friendliness, and definitely needs till remind employees to come out from behind the counter to wipe the tables and say 'Hi' once in a while. A nice and cozy location. The parking lot can be a bit tight at peak hours. Pro tip: Park in the larger adjacent shopping center lot for a quicker in and out. The baristas are super nice and helpful. The bar is quite long and ends in a nice long community table and seating area that is kind of open behind the bar. The community table has power and USB plugs underneath, and the tables along the perimeter have the same running along the window sill. The only thing I find different here from the Starbucks I frequent most (downtown on King Street) is the large time lag between getting a drink and any type of bakery item, mobile or in-store order. Today was a solid 8 minutes, and it seems as if there is a disconnect between whoever is making drinks and who is running the food in back. The King Street location is always cognizant if you have another item getting warmed up or made (drink or food), and they'll hold your item back with the receipt and let you know "They're working on so and so." Here it seems like it's every worker for themselves for mobile orders and they don't seem to know if there's another item coming - at least they've never verbalized it to me. All in all a cool location and convenient to me. Edit: 1 minute later, just got to my cookie and it wasn't even warmed!! What took so long? And it defaults to warmed, hmmm..? read more

I love Starbucks and I get that most places are struggling for employees. However, I have never been in a Starbucks that reeked if urine- but this one did. I'm a nurse and I know what pee smells like and this was old, rancid urine. The store was also filled with flies, there were crumbs and spills all over the counters and tables and it was gross. My son ordered a coffee cake and when we opened it in the car it was a bag of crumbs- like someone had scooped up all the crumbs off the tray and put it in the bag. The pink drink was basically water. Literally terrible. Needs a management change. read more

my mobile order is NEVER ready by the promised time. I have repeatedly ordered my drink when it says 9-11 minute pickup and after 15 minutes it still isnt ready. This has happened to me at least 95% of the times I've gone here if not more. FINALLY a Starbucks in goose creek! super speedy and sweet staff who are very knowledgeable about the menu and their specialty/seasonal drinks. One time I went through the drive thru and I ordered my usual drink and for some reason they put almond milk instead of coconut milk. Not sure if they train their baristas to know this but all milks taste VERY different so I noticed right away. We have someone in our home with a nut allergy so this could have been a nightmare but we caught it before it got to that point. If nut allergies are a concern for you even if you don't order a drink with nuts in it DEFINITELY let them know so they will be more aware when making your drink. I called the manager to let them know and they were incredibly sweet and even offered to make a new one. Lots of decently sized tables inside with copious amounts of outlets for regular plugs and USB's so I come to do my homework here often read more

It's a nope for me. I sent in a mobile order to be picked up inside. It was 27 minutes later that I got my order. They kept saying they were so backed up. My word of advice? When my Starbucks back home is understaffed or overwhelmed with orders, they shut down the order ahead feature on the mobile app. Y'all need to put this practice in place. I mean if order ahead means an almost 30 min wait...is that really worth it? No, it's not. It takes some skill to make these managerial decisions...so hopefully they will get someone who is capable soon. Oh. And the iced shaken espresso was not shaken. No bubbles. Sigh.
