She remembers your name and genuinely cares about the people in our community. Did you know this coffee shop is also a nonprofit that helps supports kids aging out of foster care? As someone who spent years working with kids in foster care, this warms my heart more than a cup of coffee. Providentially, we found around the corner @lighthousecoffeemc! After we had a most wonderful, redemptive experience I had to learn more about the name. This is a nonprofit cafe, helping teens that have aged out of the foster system. LOVE. THIS. IDEA. I did not realize how much that cup of Mexican Mocha was going to a good cause! Heartwarming. When we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed openly. The vibe was superchill. Very spacious. I would suggest they add few real potted plants to warm up the place. When we ordered, she cautioned it was spicy; it was great. It was cool to see they sold baked goods from a local small business @jensscones. Photodocumented the experience with more details. Sadly, downtown Mt. Clemens is only metered street or lot parking; saw the parking enforcer walking around and checking meters. I normally never complain or leave reviews, but I feel like this is something that really needs to be addressed because it can affect people with allergies and dietary restrictions. Every time I go, my coffee seems to be made incorrectly, especially when they're busy. I always order oat milk, but I often don't receive it. Unfortunately, I don't always realize until I've taken a few sips and immediately start getting a stomachache. Today was even more concerning. I wanted to try a new fall drink, but instead of the latte I ordered, I was given a pumpkin spice latte. I'm allergic to cinnamon, so I knew immediately that it wasn't what I ordered. I completely understand that mistakes happen, especially during busy times, but when it comes to allergies, it can become a serious issue. I really wish there were a ticket system or something similar to Starbucks where the order and specific ingredients could be clearly verified before the drink is handed to the customer. I genuinely love Scooter's and the people there, which is why I'm sharing this. I'd just really like to see a better system in place to help prevent these kinds of mistakes, especially when allergies are involved.

It's actually a consistently good location and I've never had a bad experience yet. It's in a busier shopping complex and part of town, so it's never really super quiet here. The staff has always been attentive and wonderful when I've stayed in for a beverage or had to take something out. Coffee's always good, along with other beverages I've ordered from here. Location's neat and clean, and parking's good considering it's in a strip mall, next to a bagel shop and a Kroger. While it's not a standard location for me, I like coming here because I can count on everything going well when I am. Not all Starbucks are created equal. Over the years, I've been to a few where the staff was grossly overworked and snappy, or the place was a hot mess. They are not that here, which makes for a much better experience.
