I stopped in today to try Biggby out. I am a huge fan of Lodi, but always willing to give someone else a try. I had the caramel cold foam brew. It was not nearly as sweet as a Lodi coffee, but the caramel was a Starbucks-style drizzle on top of the cold foam (which was very dense), rather than being a deep flavor in the coffee or cold foam itself like at Lodi. I enjoyed my coffee, it wasn't bitter or sickly sweet, a good middle ground for sure. Folks at the location were friendly and it was nice that they had a dine-in option, unlike Lodi which is drive-thru only. The inside feels like an independent coffee shop, despite it being a bit of a chain. The parking lot and drive-thru were legit confusing and the location in general is weird. The menu is also rather limited... a few sandwiches, a few baked goods, and a few coffee choices. Prices were decent, inline with other high end and premium coffee shops. I will definitely be happy to stop in at Biggby again, but considering that it is a good bit farther away than Lodi (for me), and has a more-limited menu, I likely won't be stopping in there just less I happen to be on Dorchester Road. If you're looking for a normal coffee spot give Biggby Coffee a try. They have sandwiches, bangles and muffins available. The staff is friendly and you can purchase Biggby merchandise in the store. However, I'm not sure if they're allowing customers inside just yet. You can't miss this location because there's a big B" on the outside. Try it out and let me know what you think. read more

At the time, the Biggby Coffee in Goose Creek was closed for renovation, and the next closest Biggby is in North Charleston off Ashley Phosphate Road, which is a bit far. During the pandemic, they have limited hours. I suggest calling them before arriving (especially if you're driving far for their coffee) because they do close early without warning. Staff was very personable and efficient in completing my order. I was able to get out of the drive thru within minutes. read more

I have always loved Biggby over Starbucks however, since their Manager Amber left the service has a lot to be desired (on both locations)!! today I stopped by to get a coffee I got the 24oz reduced calorie and to my surprise it was half empty!! The last couple of times I have waited over 30 minutes to get a coffee but figured maybe they are short staffed and what not. But today was the last straw. This spot is conveniently located & the staff has always been super friendly. They have plenty of flavor combinations and you can get almost everything either hot, iced, or frozen. It can be a little pricey, but it always tastes good & they've never gotten my order wrong. If you have never been, there is only 1 entrance into the parking lot, so be careful not to miss it. read more

Biggby coffee is OK. In a pinch and we need a caffeine boost, it does the trick. However prices are insane, especially for the quality of the product. I don't ever have an experience where I feel like I need to go back and have it again. Like most, I am a coffee connoisseur. I would almost take any coffee over this one, including making it myself. Finally got to try Biggby yesterday, and it did not disappoint! I got the Spotted Owl Latte with Oat Milk. It was sweeter than I normally like my coffee, but it was a great treat! This is a great little coffee shop. The service is always polite and friendly. The drive thru is never slow and moves quickly to get you your caffeine hook-up and back on the road. If you have time to sit back and enjoy your fresh brew they have WiFi available also. The Mint Mocha Latte is a great go to. read more

Coffee is great! There's no denying that. Location and the layout of the place is actually really good as well. Lobby is closed which I understand due to the Pandemic. However there still needs to be a more streamlined, quicker, and efficient way to pick up my DoorDash order other than waiting in the drive thru for over 10 mins. I ordered ahead of time for pick up to avoid the long drive thru wait time but it makes no sense if I still have to wait in the drive thru? I'm not sure why DoorDash orders can't be picked up by the front or back door? Like once I arrive why can't I call and let them know I'm here and someone could meet me by the front door and could hand me my order? It's no different than someone handing it to me through the drive thru window and it speeds things up for everyone who's already ordered ahead of time. Just saying... read more

What delicious coffee!! I am so happy that I found this place near my office. (Shout out to the ROTD a few weeks ago that opened up my world to it!) The coffee tastes so good. Not burnt, or too watery. The muffins (I've had the lemon poppyseed and blueberry) are both so so so so good. They're moist, tasty and the perfect size. The staff is incredibly nice. They're helpful when you want a few different things, but can't make up your mind. They'll find you something in between! :) Their prices are right where they should be. Great coffee! Slightly cheaper than most coffee places in town. Every drink that I've had so far has been rich and very flavorful, a huge step up from places like Starbucks (who I feel can have watered down coffee sometimes). And the portions are huge. I love BIGGBY COFFEE. It's no Starbucks. It's better! It's got a good down home feel to it. The customer service is amazing. It's super clean and the store is well stocked with tons of coffee and drink goodies. The creative selection of coffees and frappe's is amazing. They also serve Bragels which are really good as well. I live in North Mt. Pleasant and had to venture to Roper Berkeley for a post op surgical check up. My husband saw an Ice cream sign as we travelled home and pulled into BIGGBY COFFEE. We had never been here but wanted to try the nitrogen infused ice cream. It was delicious! My husband had the vanilla and I had the strawberry. Both were wonderfully different and the strawberry ice cream had slices of fresh strawberries and a waffle cookie. One lady took the order and another lady made the ice cream. It took about 10 mins to fix our specialty but we were fine as the shop was comfortably cool on a 100F Memorial Day weekend. read more

I never write reviews, unless positive, as I was in the service industry for over seven years and know how difficult it can be to work with the public. I ordered a mint mocha, and didn't specify how I would like it (totally my fault). Once it was made, there were no other customers in the store, and maybe one car in the drive through. I said to the lady "I will pay for another, but can I order one frozen instead". I am pregnant and have had some aversions to hot coffee recently. She turned around, right in front of us all, and made a gesture to her co-workers that suggested she was incredibly annoyed. Everyone I was with saw it, and so I told her it was alright, I would drink the coffee she had already made. Ten or fifteen minutes later an older lady received her bagel sandwich, and it was cold. She politely asked the same lady who had given me so much attitude, to warm the bagel up. She then proceeded to be extremely rude to this customer as well. When we confronted her on her behavior, she waved her hand in all of our faces and said "bye" repeatedly. On our way out, we heard the other employee state "this cars eggs are going to be cold, but I don't care". The absolute worst customer service I have probably ever had. read more

This coffee place originated up north. They have decently prepared coffees and are priced a tad below Starbucks. They are smaller when compared to Starbucks, but have free WiFi. Also, they give military discounts and usually have multiple coupons available for use. read more

I went here today and really loved it. The baristas are friendly and will make recommendations and also help you order, the menu is pretty big (maybe a little overwhelming), but they can make ANYTHING! Also, any drink can be hot, iced, or low-fat/low-cal. I got a frozen drink called a "baby bear" and it was delicious- caramel, vanilla, and hazelnut flavors with a little whip on top. I really enjoy going to this location! It's always quiet inside for studying. They also have plenty of space outside at the tables with nice big umbrellas covering them. The drinks are wonderful, and almost any drink can be made hot, iced, or frozen, and/or even low-cal or low-fat. Make sure to get a frequent customer card, a card that needs no registration unless you choose to download their awesome BOGO and $1 off coupons onto it! Went through the drive thru this morning and ordered an ice coffee and teddy bear latte. Both were very good! The iced coffee didn't taste watered down and although then teddy bear latte was on the sweet side for me it still was very tasty. I'll prob ask them to reduce the syrup next time. I also tried their pumpkin cream cheese muffin. It came out cold but I think it because they have to keep it chilled. Still tasted delicious! I love all of the different menu options! This was my first time at this coffee shop. They have three locations. I've driven by it a couple times on my way to Chick-fil-A but finally decided to give it a try when I needed an extra boost this morning and I had been given a coupon. Upon entering, I was greeted by the sweetest baristas. They were kind, accommodating and helpful in explaining the drinks. I went for a traditional iced mocha and it was good. The only thing I would change about the experience is the way the iced mocha was made. Instead of mixing the espresso with the mocha to melt it down so it mixes well. The mocha, milk & ice were added first with the espresso shots poured on top. Other than that, it was great. I'd certainly come back for another and ask for it to be made that way instead. read more

Didn't spend alot of time here, but very fast service, with larger than normal coffee sizes and cheaper than the average coffee house. The customer service is excellent, the cafe is cut and comfortable with free strong Wifi. I will visit this coffee house upon returning to Charleston Air Force Base. Enjoy!!! read more

I was looking for a good coffee shop in North Charleston, so I decided to try this place out. It wasn't bad, but not really what I was hoping for. The coffee was average. It has a sit down area inside, but it doesn't really have that coffee shop feel - more like a restaurant feel. I found the branding and interior decor to be a bit tacky. I would call this place the off-brand Dunkin Donuts (without the donuts), in which they pull that off very well. They have a drive-thru so I can imagine that's their main niche. Ordered online for pickup. Told 35 minutes. Showed up 35 minutes later and tried to go through drive thru waited at order board with mic for around 4-5 minutes. Thought maybe they're closed? Went to drive thru window thinking could catch attention. Sat there for another 5 minutes. Doubted it being open. Windows super dark. Went back around to the door and they were open. Walked into no one around at all for about 3-4 minutes finally 2 young girls walk out and I ask if the drive thru is closed. They say no I explain the drivethru and waiting. Apologies come then to tell me they'll now start my order that is now almost an hour old on door dash. I ask why they're not ready or at least the non frozen items. The other girl standing beside her and asks me to leave or she's calling 911. I ask why and she tells me I'm harassing her. Needless to say I canceled the order and will never return. I hit this Bigby up on the regular. All of their coffee drinks are tasty and they usually have great coupons (digital and print) and the rewards program is great. However, it's definitely on the pricier side without coupons and their food (bragels, fritters, muffins, etc) is really sub-par. Overall, it's a great place to stop for a yummy beverage! read more
