To be honest I moved back to the area roughly a year ago and I've noticed Scooters coffee from…read moreafar. Finally my curiosity has been fulfilled and the short of the matter is, it's really good! Located in a precarious location but in a safe but albeit lonely (at least how my mind sees it) place which can be a nightmare if you need to leave in a specific direction. The exterior seems well kept and I believe it's a little gem that I feel fortunate enough to have finally experienced. Typically I stick by my diet however I decided branch out and try the bacon and gouda egg bites. Wow, these are really good and low in carbs! Be careful, I made the mistake of tearing into mine and it was HOT. After letting it cool to non-volcanic temps, I was able to enjoy a simple symphony of satisfying selections snuggly stuffed in a small snack (try to put that many "S"s into first words... not easy). The egg hit, followed by the creaminess of the cheese and while I don't care for bacon, it was well balanced. Moreover, it wasn't really "eggy" in texture which is awesome. Two thumbs up. As for the coffee. Well after having coffee at another location which wasn't good (if you hunt down my reviews, you'll see it) I was ready for something epic or at least better. So this doctor Evil got to work I decided on a Latte with two shots of salted caramel, one vanilla, one hazelnut and finally one toasted marshmallow. I hate giving away my pure genius but "if you love something set it free...." There you have it, one of the best concoctions you'll ever try. The smoothness of the latte was elevated by the saltiness and sweetness of the caramel while the vanilla and hazelnut offered just that background favor to keep the tastebuds curious and the toasted mallow gave a hit of fire roasted burnt to the equation. Yes I'm complimenting myself but they have the ingredients on hand and mixed it. Kudos to them. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised how good the coffee is here. Moreover, the people are extremely friendly and the service is fast. At the window the lady was nice saying words from an ancient dialect like "please, thank you, you're welcome" and so on. It was refreshing. I highly recommend dropping by and ask them for the "Justin special" (you'll have to tell them b/c I'm more popular in my imagination than in real life. Enjoy!

I decided to go of script and order a Latte with 2 shots of Macadamia nut, one salted caramel and 2 of white chocolate. The first sip of my "mad creation" hit my lips and it was really good, on par with some foo foo spots I've hit. The blend of soft macadamia nut paired with the salted caramel complimented each other like a husband and wife - with a successful marriage while the white chocolate was the successful kid who's about to become a doctor! You know, the perfect family or in this case, coffee photo! But just to give it that photoshop effect the whipped cream offered that a small visual appeal that slowly melted into my scalding hot creation. I do realize I have a lid on it but I got to see my beauty before she went to the prom. Oh btw, the heat index outside was 101 but I love hot coffee! As for other flavors, I've been to several Dutch Bros in many states so I won't bother reiterating my experiences b/c it's very consistence being a nationwide brand. In summary, Dutch Bros is a welcome addition to any town's coffee scene, offering good alternatives to trendy locals only spots or that other northwest company. The prices are competitive, the choices are numerous and the execution is pretty good. You can't go wrong with trying it out once to see what the hype is about for yourself. As for me, my frequency will be based on time and temperament b/c sometimes I like to people watch with my pinky up writing some standup material. Nothing better than observing people and crafting jokes about our nature while mainlining caffeine. But I prefer better scenery to do so rather than the concrete jungle.

This visit was a drive-thru order for us. They did let us know they were pretty busy, which is totally understandable, but I will say the wait was a bit on the longer side before we got our drinks. As for the coffee itself -- my husband ordered a decaf latte with tiramisu syrup, and unfortunately the flavor fell a little flat. He mentioned it tasted very weak overall, and the tiramisu didn't really come through at all. I ordered a decaf latte with cookie dough syrup. Mine was decent -- the coffee itself tasted good -- but similar to his, the syrup flavor didn't quite match what I expected. It didn't really give that cookie-dough taste, just a light sweetness. Price-wise, it came to just under $15 for one medium decaf latte and one large decaf latte with syrups, which feels pretty fair for specialty coffee drinks. Overall, not a bad stop -- especially if you're looking for a pet-friendly coffee spot with a patio -- but I do wish the flavored syrups had been a bit stronger and more true to taste. I'd be open to trying them again and exploring other flavors on the menu.

The line to order goes by pretty fast, and the wait to get your order wasn't long either. All the baristas were really nice and created a great atmosphere. This was my first time having their quiche, and it was great! The store itself is great, plenty of seating inside and out, and there are bathrooms. I also thought it was really cute that local artwork was up for sale! Also, there is plenty of parking nearby.

My only complaint was the ice to liquid ratio. I had to ration my sips because there wasn't a lot of liquid in the cup and I was done in about 5 minutes. If I get a tea on a future visit, I will request light ice. The menu is extensive and there are combos where you can get a tea + a shake which will save some coins if you're indecisive. The place is super cute and I would definitely return to try other menu options!

There has been lack of listening a few times between different people behind the bar about allergies. From someone who is allergic to mango it is important to listen if asked for no aloe. Light, fluffy, airy. I didn't even know bagels could be that phenomenal. I also opted for the chili oil cream cheese and it was such an unexpected treat. Spicy and exceptionally delicious. I also bought the ube croissant to take home to my son. He ended up licking all of the ube from the center but the bite I snuck made me wanting more. The coconut cloud drink I had was so freaking good and refreshing on a warm day. Please note that they have original drinks (we some basics) so keep an open mind. The front of the house staff were so friendly and helpful. Love that they refer to everyone as "ms and Mr). The owner was busy packaging treats for everyone and he was so kind. The first time we went was early afternoon on a weekday, and they were already sold out of all baked goods. Since we were looking for a snack and a place to sit and relax, we didn't stay. We also noted that the seating inside is rather limited, and it was already occupied. Hubby went there again this morning, to give it a second chance, (Saturday at 8:45) and was told they don't put the baked goods out until 9 AM. He then asked for a mocha but apparently they don't serve normal coffee drinks. Instead, they have a menu of house created specialty drinks. He left. As much as I wanted to love this place, I'm just not looking for expensive high-end coffees on the regular. And, it doesn't make sense to me that on a Saturday morning, when people want to pick up coffee and a breakfast snack on their way to run errands, it wouldn't be available. So if you're going to visit, you'll run the risk of it either being too crowded to sit inside and relax, arriving too early for breakfast, or arriving too late and having everything sold out. It's a little bit too hit and miss for me. Giving them two stars because it's a brand new space and the employees are friendly.
