However, their burger and chicken sandwich are a little bland. They didn't put enough condiments and salt in the chicken and the patty so they tend to taste bland and boring. Their Fried Calamari with Garlic infused dipping sauce is to die for!! I wasn't thrilled with their version of Spicy Garlic Marinara. It had a weird taste. For my entree I asked them to create a Shrimp and Grilled Chicken Scampi over Linguini. It was delish. Although the portions were plentiful they should've added more Shrimp. I had two Pomegranate Martinis. It was made just right!! Get this...it was only $5. How can you go wrong?! You just can't. I think Biggies needs to add more items to their menu. I've come here a bunch of times for dinner, lunch, and happy hour and have always had a good experience. I do love their thai chili calamari and their clam pizza. Those are my top two things on their menu. Mussels were just ok. Service varies every time I go. Sometimes they are really quick and always ready to serve, and other times they are a bit slow. I ordered food for 15 people and everyone raved about the calamari, linguine and clam sauce, as well as the pasta fra diavolo. If I could leave a one word review, it would just say AMAZING. My daughter and I traveled an hour and a half to visit the American Dream Mall. When we finished there we wanted to get food, but not fast food from the mall. We looked up close local restaurants and came across Biggies. After looking over the menu we both agreed this was where we would go since it was only about 10 minutes away. I believe our waiter was Justin. He was very attentive, asking how we were every time he walked near our table. Most people visit their table once... not him. As for the food, we shared fully loaded potato wedges. Great taste, plenty of cheese and perfectly cooked bacon! She ordered Clams and Linguini. Not chunks of clams but in the shell. And a lot of them. She really enjoyed the meal. As for me, I ordered seafood with a lobster cream sauce. It was Mussels, shrimp and scallops in a lobster sauce over rice. It may be one of the best meals I ever had. Biggies made me forget that my birthday was nearly ruined by covid AND no power due to a tropical storm. First, thank you Corey for accommodating a party of 13 with two separate tables on a Friday night. He was so sweet and accommodating! Our service was stellar and friendly. I used to come here quite a bit and am happy to see the shrimp from the raw bar are still the best around. Everyone enjoyed dinner, my husband had the lobster Mac and cheese and ate the whole portion! I loved the Parmesan crusted flounder. You definitely get a lot of food for the price. just got into town after a long 6 hour drive. we checked into our hotel and looked up restaurants in the meadowlands area. Biggie's caught my eye. it only took us 10 minutes to get there and when i pulled into the parking lot i was second guessing my decision. now for the good stuff. upon entering we were greeted with friendly hellos and we were asked if we wanted to sit on the dining room side, bar side, or outside on the patio. we decided on sitting in the bar side. nice social distancing with the tables and the bar stools at the bar. SNF was on their tvs and the bartender was nice enough to put on the Lakers playoff game for me on another tv. can you say bonus points? i had the southern fried oysters for my appetizer (MAN WERE THEY GOOD), and my mother had the new england clam chowder. now for our entrees i decided on the Seafood Lite and my mother decided on the Salmon Avocado. both came out steaming hot and both were DELICIOUS. we will be coming back ! read more

This was my first experience here. The customer service was great and the atmosphere is very nice . It's a family style location. The food is good the Wings are delicious and well done ! The restaurant had a sports bar atmosphere. We ordered an appetizer of Calamari with marinara sauce, chicken and shrimp with broccoli rabe, and chicken parm. The calamari was greasy, the shrimp and chicken dish was bland, and the chicken parm was overcooked and one of the two small fillets was burnt. My family of 6 went to Biggies for the '24 superbowl. We are from out of state staying in a nearby Marriott. Biggies was absolutely amazing. I was concerned about having a good table with views of the game. I reached out the day of and received a response right away. There are a ton of TVs and they assured we had a booth with our own TV. They adjusted the volume to our liking. The service was amazing. Our drinks stayed full, our order had zero issues and the food was delicious. The prices were fair. The parking lot had plenty of spaces and easy to access. We highly recommend and will be coming back when we are in town! read more

I have been eyeing out this place for quite some time since I moved to East Rutherford. Last night me and my gf decided to stop by and give them a shot. We started with the calamari for appetizer, there was a 50% off coupon for first time check in. Was not sure of the sweet chili thai sauce so i ordered it on the side. Calamari by itself tasted bland, we tried squeezing some lemons over the calamari and the lemons were sour. Thank god we asked for that sweet chili sauce which saved the calamari. Next came the potato soup, it was ok, very reminiscent of Hooligans soup. Had a decent taste, still prefer Hooligans better. For our main meal my gf had the lobster roll and I had the chicken burger. Just fiy, if you change your french fries to any other sides there is a $2 upcharge for that, which was fine but not expected. My chicken burger was ok, nothing to rave about, flavor was kind of missing and was very dry. The brioche bun was a nice touch . My gf did not like her lobster roll, it had no flavor and ended up taking it home and throwing it out, not worth the $23 they ask. The service was good, the waitress was helpful and responded within time. I believe they closed down a few of their locations, and based on my experience, this place might be next. Drinks from the menu were just ok, Sangria was lacking and my wife says undrinkable. The 3 stars is for the food and drinks. It's great that they have a huge selection of how you can have your clams and oysters prepared. The oysters are priced pretty competitively and were good. The clams are expensive for 1/2 dozens compared to the rest of the spots anywhere and at that price it brings them down to an average rating at best. The salad was good and the calamari was decent. The burger was probably the best thing I had but the seafood with fra diavlo over linguini was bland and rubbery. I give 5 stars to our server Stephanie she was attentive and pleasant so the main review has nothing to do with her she was great. I was just disappointed that a place that I've heard so much about was just average to us. I guess if you want just clams and oysters and beer this may be the spot for you.
