Always a delicious and reliable meal. Pizza pizza is excellent. The muscles are delicious lots of chunks of tomatoes and garlic. We like it spicy. But beware when they say spicy they mean spicy so if you can't tolerate heat, be sure to tell them not to make it too spicy.

My perfect personal pizza, and Kentucky Mule drink on Kareoke night!!

This is my Sunday afternoon, relax with friends, go to place at least 3 x a month The Firehouses has excellent food and I enjoy this family owned and operated restaurant very much! Anytime you enter your greeted with a warm hello! Drinks at the bar are made with perfection! I highly recommend Tim's Cosmo or the Kentucky Mule!! Cold bottles or beer on tap is always fresh, crisp & delicious!! Staple items I constantly go for are the Mussels, eggplant Rollatini. Various soups of the day, and I can't forget their thin crust amazing flavorful pizza!! Mmmm I have ordered probably a dozen or more times Chicken mediterranean. So tasteful and I always have leftovers for lunch the next day! Are you curious about dessert?? Freshly made per order, hot out of the oven a chocolate chip cookie in a large ramekin topped off with vanilla ice cream, or I get the Reeses peanut butter cup cookie warm and delicious! Lots of TV's to catch the latest sports channels and a music video station plays throughout! The firehouse is adorned with tons of firemen memorabilia! Even the front end of a big red engine hangs on the brick wall! The atmosphere is definitely warm, cozy and perfect for date night, kids party or friends getting together They have a private room in the front with an oversized bay window, perfect for a family get together or a gang after work to wind down with great food and cocktails!! Upstairs they have a large party room! Perfect for 1st birthday parties, Christmas parties, any event! I can't say enough of how great this place is!! If you read my review and decide to stop in and try it, please tell them Pina sent you !

Sooo good! Ordered through Doordash and the food came quick & super hot and fresh. The penne vodka was delicious. Full of flavor and the portion was huge, definitely enough for two. The bread that came with the pasta was great too. The wings were fresh and crispy, definitely recommend the garlic buffalo for garlic lovers. To top it all off, prices are great! Definitely recommend this spot.

    Definitely get the Angry Shrimp!

PROS: The variety of food was very nice and the prices were THE BEST! The place had a nice atmosphere while the servers were semi nice. The food tasted great and came out quickly too CONS: Nowhere to park during weekday hours except for the streets and they only have a one person bathroom per gender which causes a line up OVERALL: I would recommend coming to this place and giving it a shot. It seems like a bar many locals go to

Great thin pizza. Good flavors. Nachos were okay. The drinks could use a little more booze. Overall decent place for pizza.

Once the home of Garfield Fire Company #5 established in 1903, it's currently a pub style family owned restaurant by two brothers located on Plauderville Avenue. Inside is a beautiful brick interior decked out in firefighting memorabilia which is enough to make firefighters and first responders feel at home. My partner and I came here for the first time to celebrate restaurant week by having dinner tonight. The menu reflects some of the time honored dishes favored by firehouses, from hamburgers, to pasta, to fish, there is a broad range of American dishes, all hearty. Greeted by our server Summer who brought out the complimentary warm bread. We skipped the appetizers and went straight for our entrees beginning with the Open Sliced Steak Platter consisting of sliced flank steak on garlic bread with Jersey fries and onion rings & the Rigatoni Bolognese (Mayor Riggs Special) with Slow cooked veal, beef & pork with their homemade tomato sauce. Our meal came with either a side salad or beef stew soup. The food was brought out hot, well seasoned but nothing to write home about and very portion. We didn't have any room for desserts. The service was attentive and the price very reasonable. The only downside is parking on the street. We could recommend this place.

Our waitress Lily was prompt with getting us our drinks... excellent Cosmopolitans, & Aperol Spritz's. Our appetizers were all excellent the fried calamari was perfect and the sauce was heaven!! We had the clams casino and the zucchini fritti everything was scraped clean. The warm bread with oil and slaw was a perfect touch and nice combination!! Our dinners were all delicious not one complaint. I had the Veal Saltimbucco which I've never had before and it was delicious. Around the table was Chicken Saltimbucco with linguine (Al dente) with garlic & oil, the Pork Chop special was a huge portion, Cheese Ravioli with shrimp & spinach in a vodka cream sauce, Linguine Vongole in white sauce overflowing with clams was polished off, and the Linguine Frutti Di Mare Fra Diablo was a creation!! Everything was plated exceptionally please look at my pictures to see!! We also had two Tarfufo's and a cappuccino!! The atmosphere was amazing with a live singer at the "Shoe Shine" Bar that you could hear well into the restaurant. I've heard many great things about this restaurant and am so happy I finally was able to visit. The owner Sammy is on another level, one of the nicest most genuine owners I've ever met. My step mother loved the red sauce that came with the calamari and to her surprise he came as we were leaving and gave her a good size portion of the sauce to take home!! That's what I call hospitality!! We all left full and very happy. I think this may my new favorite place because when you tie everything in atmosphere and good food you really cannot go wrong!!

Street parking if you can find it - street parking by permit on lots of streets. 2. 7 pm on a Thursday. Sat at the bar with a friend who thinks the place deserves a Michelin Star and "you have to go" there. 3. I had the hot antipasto for 1. It was SUPPOSED to come with stuffed mushroom and eggplant rollatini. IT DID NOT. Those 2 items were replaced with some toast with cheese - basically four 1 inch squares of .... pizza made on bread...an artichoke heart cut in half, and a couple sun-dried tomatoes b/c I asked for the mussels to be fra d'avilo. Also, 2 shrimp, 2 stuffed clams, and 2 mussels on the half shell. The clams were stuffed with stuffing as I didn't find the clams. The shrimp were good. The mussels were tough. The artichoke hearts were Meh. I did not eat the bread squares pretending to be pizza. I ordered what I expected to get based on their menu - 2 items were missing, and 4 little pieces of bread pizza, an artichoke heart, and 2 sun-dried tomatoes didn't cut it, or make up for the missing items. I said to the bartender "this was supposed to come with eggplant rollatini and stuffed mushroom" - the response was a blank stare then a smile. Hello? I wasn't complaining, I was making a statement and honestly expecting an answer like.....oh, maybe they ran out of ingredients and made a substitution. Should I have gone to find the manager or speak to the hostess? I didn't. Overall, it was loud, there was a fella at the bar playing and occasionally singing 1960s Italian songs. A patron sang My Way. I don't know if this is a usual thing, but I understood there'd be music on a Thursday night. Overall, the patrons were having a nice time as there was a birthday party going on, the patrons were friendly, seemed to be some regulars at the bar, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to be there again.

The space is wonderful: quiet, spacious, and really comfortable. The buffet offers great variety and plenty of fresh options. There's a self-serve waffle maker (the waffles come out hot and delicious), and they have fresh-squeezed orange juice that's a nice touch. Everything on the à la carte menu is prepared fresh and hot as well. The only minor note is that some buffet items can cool down toward the end when the chafing dishes run low, so arriving earlier helps get the freshest selections. That said, you can always get hot waffles made to order right away! Highly recommend this affordable, friendly spot perfect for a relaxed, satisfying brunch.

Our recent visit on a Monday night reinforced our sense of nostalgia and the need for decent food. Calamari appetizer was a decent portion with a mild dipping sauce. Tasty Italian bread was served. We both had the ravioli. Good tasting meat ravioli with a meat sauce. I had the cheese ravioli, both decent portions and a great sauce. I ordered mine with a meat ball and a sausage. The meat ball was the size of a man's fist, soft, flavorful. I shared it with my son who was dining with me. The piece of sausage was large enough to share as well. Wanted dessert and coffee but we were too full. I had coffee with my meal, hearty and good flavor. They have birch beer. We sat in a booth in the bar area. Waitress treated us like we were family. Pizzas came out of the kitchen on a regular basis either for diners or pick up. I thought, busy for a Monday night. Closed Tuesday. Good prices. My family dined there regularly and I mean my grandparents, parents and cousins . Patrons (people we didn't know) came by our table to get to theirs and said hello and gave us a friendly smile.
