The atmosphere is lovely--elegant but still relaxed--and the staff was excellent from beginning to end. Our servers were friendly, fun, and made the evening even more enjoyable. We started with cocktails, which were delicious, followed by the crab beignets, fried green tomatoes, and eggplant. For dinner, we had the rack of lamb and the cowboy ribeye, and everything was wonderful. After cocktails, the wine started flowing, and it turned into such a fun evening with great food, drinks, and service. Bijoux is definitely a Miramar Beach favorite for us. If you are NOT in a rush to eat this is the place to go! We had reservations for 7:15 a group of 9 to celebrate a birthday. We arrived 15 mins late & once at the restaurant requested outdoors because indoors was very cold. From the few mins standing inside the place looked very nice perfect for a nice dinner or a celebration. We were the only people sitting outdoors. Our waitress kept checking on us however, I have never drank about 10 glasses of water waiting for my dinner. We placed our order at 8:10p our food didn't arrive u til 10pm. Unacceptable! We had to ask twice for an update. Once the food arrived at once some of us our meals were warm or not warm at all like the potatoes & broccoli which was my dish. I guess they have them sitting under a lamp waiting for everyone's food to be done. After we were done & requested our checks they had the nerve to include the 20% on each check. Was 20% deserved ? Absolutely not. A total of 3 hrs sitting there. Our server asked her manager to remove it c which they did & we gave a tip we felt was appropriate. She was not happy & stormed off. And on our 6th visit to Sandestin we finally made it here. We sat at the bar and Hunter waited on us. Everything was top notch! First time here for 2/3 of us and we didn't have a reservation (which is recommended) but we got lucky! Started with a delicious cocktail -Watermelon jalapeño martini, my husband had an old fashioned & friend had a traditional martini. They do have an extensive wine list but we aren't win people. We started with the Lobster Spring Roll which was out of this world! We could have ate several more of them. For dinner we each got an entree and shared all three meals. We had the lamb chops, the Ahi tuna and one of the specials which was a red fish with lump crab on top (that was my favorite! but all were really good) We enjoyed sitting at the bar (the tone was light and carefree) we were able to converse with the bartenders and other guests instead of being on the formal quiet dining room. I ordered a second drink bc it looked too good not to try -the pear martini and it was so good and refreshing! Would order again. We definitely visit again on future trips worth the price tag. My family stops in every time we are in town and every thing we have tried is amazing. I actually thought I wrote a review of how solid this place is. The pics are from 11/24 so the food may be prepared a bit different but is always good. We started with the lobster spring rolls, crab beignets and the mozzarella and tomatoes. All were delicious. They don't skim on the lobster. Each piece has a half of a lobster tail. The crab beignets are crispy on the outside and filled with crab. The dinner menu is not big but I think I have tried everything except the ahi tuna which my son gets consistently and he loves. Our latest visit I got the shrimp and grits for the first time and it was amazing. The mushrooms on the grits complemented the dish well. The staff is welcoming gives great recommendations. What a great dining experience! Everything we tried was delicious and our server, Olga, was wonderful, as was the whole waitstaff. White table cloths & proper wine service are my love language. Family vacation has begun after the drive from South Carolina ... my first time in Destin .... The ambiance in here is amazing as soon as you walk in ... well lit and decorated ... also we were greeted with a smile upon entering ... the hostess did ask what were we celebrating which was good because it was mom and dads birthday and their anniversary is in a few days. But on to the good stuff ... for my appetizer I tried the Crab Beignets and for my entree ..... it was a toss up between the Lamb and Seafood pasta so I flipped a coin... and I can't go against the coin seafood pasta it is ...: The crab beignets were nothing short of amazing and the apple slaw was the perfect contrast to the seafood .... As a bonus my wife shared a the lobster spring roll ... and we 2/2 ... who would have thought lobster , wasabi and peanut butter would pair so perfectly ... As for the seafood paste .... AMAZING .... We really like Bijoux. I think it is the nicest restaurant you're going to get within the Sandestin community, it's one of the only ones with a dress code. It is more upscale than anywhere else within Sandestin, but it doesn't feel too stuffy. The service is always excellent and so are the drinks and food. Bijoux is such a great find in the Miramar area. We had a party of 18 for a bday and they hosted us w grace. They gave us multiple servers to ensure every request was granted and timely. The restaurant is tucked away but beautiful inside and the staff is extremely accommodating. Obviously there were several dishes tried but they were gone before a pic could be snapped. We went for dinner on a Saturday in 3/2025. The service was honestly perfect. Could not have asked for a more respectful and helpful staff. I had their pineapple cobbler. If you're a bit of a cobbler snob like me, I'd skip this particular dessert. If not, go for it! The lobster spring roll and jambalaya were very good. The dining area is beautifully decorated - white table clothes kinda place. The parking lot is shared with several other businesses but I had no problem parking close. They do have outside seating. Updating my review....we haven't been to Bijoux in years. We were in Miramar Beach, having an adult weekend with 10 family members and needed somewhere good to go out to dinner. Someone sent our cousin a message and suggested Bijoux. I instantly remembered how good it was the last time we went. Surprisingly, I was able to get us a same day reservation for 12. Thankfully, Bijoux DID NOT disappoint, once again! It was just as good as it was the last time we went a few years ago. Both my husband and I got a shrimp ceviche appetizer and cowboy ribeyes for dinner. The shrimp ceviches were amazing and the chips with it, were some of the best, I've ever had. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the martinis were made perfectly! I didnt hear anyone at the table have anything negative to say about their food. Our server's name was Lisa and she did a great job with our table. Especially working our table of 12, by herself. We will continue to come to Bijoux when visiting the area. read more

This is our first time to this location, apparently moved from Baytowne Wharf in 2014. This location is Sooo much easier to access! I so clearly remembered the goat cheese ice cream dessert and it is still on the menu with apple bourbon bread pudding. (The ice cream is that amazing!) We ate there last night and the whole experience was great...food, service, ambience. Definately fine dining. Our friend who we had previously dined here with in the past was a martini conisouer so we had to have their Godfather martini with blue cheese olives. This is my 4th trip in 5 years. Michael is and will be our server as long as we continue and he works at this place. His recommendations are always the best. My companion and I shared the appetizer Duck Confit that was served with roasted Brussel Sprouts in a homemade Cranberry-Pomegranate sauce that was truly delicious. The Duck was cooked perfectly with crispy skin and silky meat. Next we had the Steak & Lamb for the main course. The Cast Iron Beef Filet served with Garlic Mashed Tatters and was absolutely delicious. Medium Rare - Rare cooked perfectly with a warm red center. The Lamb Rack too was also cooked to perfection with a warm red center served with Couscous and greens that's one of the best meals i've had in years Bijoux may be the best restaurant in Destin. We always do a really nice date night shortly after arriving in Destin each year. This year, we chose Bijoux. Inside is small and intimate with a bar at the entryway. A bit "upscale". We had a reservation and we were seated immediately upon arrival. We started with a bottle of Chappellet (it was amazing. It's probably on my list of my new favorites that I want to keep in my personal collection at home). The warm Brussels sprout salad was our opener and it was amazing - perfectly cooked, delightfully seasoned. Sounds weird but don't pass it up. I ordered the snapper special because this girl can't find much in the way of good fresh fish in the Midwest and snapper is one of my favorites. It was served with the most delightfully crispy fingerling potatoes and a mushroom cream sauce with two big shrimp on top. I have celiac disease so I always put my next 36-48 hours of my life into the waiter's hands every single time we eat out. Brian was knowledgeable about gluten but he went out of his way to ask specific questions directly of the chef and pointed out what items I couldn't share from my husband's choices. I was able to have his filet with Gruyère mashed potatoes - it was perfectly tender and the mashed potatoes were really a delicious addition. We ordered dessert for the birthday boy... crème brûlée and two scoops of the in-house made ice cream... when I tell you that the goat cheese ice cream was amazing... I very much mean it. Who knew?! Wait staff were extremely efficient, friendly , funny and just generally nice people. Started with wine then appetizers,entrees, dessert. With food this great it didn't matter the cost. While in Destin it was suggested I come here and I wanted to get a jump on the dinner crowd for a Saturday night. It opened at 5 pm and I got there 5 min before. Already about 8 people waiting outside. I thought-- I came to a hot spot! I sat at the bar, servers introduced themselves. Overall it was an excellent meal. The lobster spring rolls ($27!!) were very, very tasty. The soup was very basic and it didn't seem like a butternut squash soup. I could have skipped that. The filet was absolutely perfection! Cooked in duck fat, too. So nice. The potatoes were lacking any real flavor in my opinion. A touch of salt helped. I do wish they had sea salt and not table salt. My server/bartender got me a delicious red wine to enjoy with my dinner. I left very pleased, even though it was a very expensive dinner for one. And I understand the cost of everything is higher. So the soup and cost are why it's 4 stars and not 5. But it was a great dinner! read more
