TERRIBLE FOUL MOUTHED LOUD RUDE OWNER WITH BAD BEHAVIOR

HORRIBLE!!! My husband and I went for our one year anniversary. The wait staff was lovely and brought us a glass of champagne to celebrate. As we sat in the very small restaurant- the atmosphere was soiled by a very foul mouthed very loud gentleman. Many other patrons were cringing as he very loudly dropped the f-bomb repeatedly while there were young children at the next table. My husband eventually walked over and kindly asked him to tone it down. The next thing we know, the manager came over and told us the foul mouthed very loud man was an OWNER and he was kicking us out. Neither of us has ever been kicked out of a restaurant in our almost 60 years. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS HORRIBLE MAN. And to the owner-- please learn some manners!! You should be ashamed of your behavior. Seems like your staff is ashamed of you!!

Wife and I stopped in for an anniversary dinner. The servers and hostess were great. Unfortunately there was an extremely loud group dining in the center of the room. The men were using obscenities and loud foul language. There were several children and families dining. I very discreetly reminded them that others were dining and children were present. To our surprise, the manager informed us it was one of the owners that was the main offender. He stormed off and directed the manager to refuse us service. We gladly left. Don't patronize this place. A day of golf and drinking does not excuse this type of behavior.

Ah man! I would've loved to have given this restaurant a higher rating, and based on the great customer service and ambiance, I could have, but my chicken piccata fell incredibly flat. The chicken was so dry and hard that it tasted like it had been pre-cooked and rewarmed in the oven entirely too long. I was terribly disappointed and had to send it back. BE WARNED- this is the part that really BLEW me. Their payment machine doesn't calculate tips properly. My tab came up to $70. I tipped $15... it said that equated to 15% (which is actually over 20% of $70). The total should've been $85, but it then rang up as $89! That is super shady!!!! If you don't check your tabs, don't know how to calculate percentages properly, or even if you're like me and don't want to complain about a $4 difference, they are essentially getting over on you! How many people does this happen to? Imagine if every customer was overcharged an average of $5?!?!?! But... let me back up to the appetizer. We got crab claws. Those were delicious ~ the butter/cheese sauce they came in was rich and robust. This aroused my excitement for the remaining dishes; however, I was terribly disappointed. My mother got the halloumi salad. It lacked flavor. My green beans, which accompanied the chicken, were barely cooked. Although seasoned well, they were hard to enjoy because the ends were still on, so I was left pulling strings of rough edges out of my mouth each time I finished eating one. Maybe the chef was having an off day? I don't know...

For our last night in Miramar Beach we wanted to try a restaurant we've never been to, so we treated ourselves to Bosforo and so glad we did. When we walked in you don't feel like you're in a strip mall. The place is decorated nicely and the stemware they use is very sturdy and nice for a martini. Appetizers: we had the ceviche of the day which was shrimp and a beet salad. Their ceviche is not the traditional ceviche you expect. It was more of an olive oil base I believe , but it was so good. It was very fresh and came with plenty of crackers. I'm not a beet person , but my friend loved it. Dinner: I chose the shrimp and polenta and OMG!!! I could have licked the bowl clean, but I had restraint. I asked if this is a permanent item on the menu and it was. My friend has the scallops and pasta. Their pasta is homemade and the scallops were perfect golden brown. We were too full to have dessert but the espresso martini had before our meal would be a great treat.

Service here was great. Server and manager were very personable. This is a cool restaurant with a nice interior. The seating was very comfortable. I had the chicken piccata which was very good! I did sub the polenta for mash. It worked out well. My wife got a Ribeye here. This was underwhelming. We love a good steak, but this one missed the mark. It was cooked properly to MR, but the flavor and quality of the cut just weren't what we hoped for. Nonetheless, we will be back to try the other entrees, as the piccata was very good! Also, their hummus is delicious!

This was a great experience. We came in during a busy Friday night rush and the service was still speedy! In and out very satisfied in 1 hour. I had the beef tips homemade pasta, which is on the specialty menu. It is worth the $42 price tag. The meat was cooked perfectly and the pasta was some of the best I've ever had. I would order this everyday of our vacation if I could. My husband also had great things to say about his chicken piccata. The restaurant had great ambiance with low lights above tables and also at each table. The bathrooms are the only part of the building that seem to be lacking. Still clean, so not much to complain about. Overall an amazing experience and we would recommend!

Out of this world delish. Every single dish, app, drink and dessert was so good. Def suggest the pasta dish.

Crab claws appetizer (the bread did help cut into the slightly saltiness)

Immediately greeted upon entering and seated pretty quickly. My group had gotten there shortly after they opened. Inside was nice and quiet. Well lit and the tables weren't cramped either. They had these cute little table lamps for extra ambiance and lighting. The appetizers came out pretty quickly. Personal opinion, I preferred the steak tartare over the crab claws. They were both delicious but I thought the crab claws sauce it was in was slightly too salty for me. The bread did help cut saltiness. Prior to coming, the biggest food items we were looking towards was the red snapper and the lamb shank. Other Yelp reviews highlighted them as the best you can get. At first, we were disappointed that the red snapper was no longer on the specials and so had ordered the whole Branzino instead. Our waiter (Norm?) came out and surprised us by letting us know they had one red snapper left and we were able to get it. The lamb shank was as great as everyone else had reviewed it. Super tender and practically falls off the bone. The other parts of the dish helped with the flavor contrast. The red snapper was super light and crispy. The fish meat was juicy and cooked well. I personally like capers and enjoyed it with the fish. (My friends weren't as much fans on the capers). Our waiter did check on us every now and then. My friends and I spent a lot of time catching up and chatting. The waiter came by to make sure our waters were topped off, but overall let us have privacy to chat, Excellent dinner choice.

    Homemade pasta with shrimp

You would not know that this restaurant is in a strip mall once you walk in. It's so elegantly decorated and upscale. I was greeted immediately and sat at the bar. The bartender, Nick, was great!!!!!! EVERYTHING I ordered was delicious, fresh and seasoned to perfection!!!! I wanted to kiss the chef. I went on a Saturday evening and was disappointed they were closed (Monday and Tuesday) the remainder of my stay. I would have eaten there again on Sunday had I known. I ordered a Georgia Peach drink, homemade pasta with shrimp, and key lime pie. I'll definitely be back. THANK YOU.

They were kind enough to gift me a dessert! I was blown away by the generosity and the kindness of the associate. The inside is also very nice, lots of space for tables and lots of room for a family style meal. The food prices have increased a lot since the uploaded menu photos like on Google!!!! It's pretty pricey, but huge portions! I ordered a Shrimp Kabob Plate and subbed one of the kabobs for chicken. I also ordered an extra side of Tahini (not tzatziki) sauce. I will say the portion of the protein was not as much as I would like on first glance, but it was A LOT OF FOOD! The portion of the entire plate itself was huge. Two cups of rice, two salads, one huge pita, the meat proteins and one tzatziki sauce. I loved the pickled onions on the salad, so flavorful and delicious! Unfortunately, I was accidentally given two tzatziki sauces instead of an extra tahini, but accidents happen! No problem! I just LOVE garlic, so I felt like the flavors I was desiring was missing? Again, I love garlic lol. I think that the bread, when it came out was warm... got stale really fast? There were only 3 chicken pieces, but they were HUGE! I just think I need to explore more sauce options, because I felt like something was missing. But I still ate a TON and was satisfied after. I was really blown away by the customer service there. The associate, I'm not sure if he was the owner or not, but was extremely generous and kind! He was super friendly, had a smile on his face, and the small goodies really blew me away and made my day better. Thank you!

First The Menu Bait-and-Switch Their website menu and a customer-posted menu are identical both promise pita bread and tzatziki with entrees. We ordered based on that. When we called after getting home asking where these items were, they claimed it was "an old menu posted by a customer." Except their website/menu online says the same thing. Either fix your menus or stop lying to customers. The Portions were pathetic when told they were good sized and oh man the food was Flavorless! For $79 + tip, we got portions embarrassingly small. The grape leaves? Cold, wet, and bland could barely eat three. The rice was lifeless. The $37 "Fish of the Day" tilapia had ZERO flavor and no lemon even basic Mediterranean cooking demands lemon. The $30 salmon kabob was mediocre-sized and barely filling. Everything tasted like it was prepared with zero seasoning and zero effort and no soul. We had to season our own food at home. Our server was too busy with personal conversations to help properly. When handing us our to-go food, she literally said, "I didn't put gratuity on there but you guys can if you want" like she was doing us a favor by separating the hot items from the cold. We tipped anyway because we're good Samaritans when it comes to eating out. When we complained by phone, the response was hollow: "I'll let the Owner know to fix it" the only positive thing: Location is easy to find. That's literally it. The building is rundown, interior cramped with tables crammed together, decor is mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Better Mediterranean restaurants exist all over Destin. This is a cautionary tale of poor execution, dishonest practices, and staff that clearly doesn't care. 1/5 Stars - Never returning.
