After a nice beach day, we walked down to Bikini Burgers and had a mushroom and cheese burger, teriyaki and pineapple burger, and a turkey bacon burger. You have a choice of regular fries, Cajun fries, or cheese fries. We waited on a nearby picnic table and jammed to the local music. Fresh water is provided if you find the need to cool down more. When we received the order, we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the beef patty as well as the amount of French fries! After the first bite, I just knew we didn't go wrong! The ambiance was great but the food was terrible. Ordered a fried fish sandwich with cheese fries... The fish sandwich was supposed to come with tartar sauce but instead came with mustard and ketchup slathered on it. I sucked it up and wiped off the mustard and ketchup and and asked for tartar sauce. After adding the "tartar sauce" and taking a bite, I realized they gave me what appeared to be honey mustard and not tartar sauce. The fish was also over fried, very dark and dry. Spent extra for cheese fries and the cheese was cold and seemed to be straight from a can. 30 minutes after leaving, I got sick to my stomach and lost my dinner minutes later. Staying at the resort across the street and the kids wanted a burger. The staff is all very friendly, great menu options and pretty quick service. The cheeseburgers were good. The fries were exceptional, especially the cheese fries. We got our food to go but they have a handful of tables outside where you could sit. It's decorated in fun pink and purple and has a good little vibe for being next to the street. We would eat here again. I never write reviews but I just ate here and the food was amazing but as we're finishing up our meal a man, who turns out to be the owner by the name of Aman(?), pulls up very aggressively and hops out to immediately start reprimanding and scolding his employees. And not in a professional way. He was yelling and cursing at them saying things like "Did I stutter the first f**king time" "Why the f**ck are these trash bags here..." Most places, a boss would come out to apologize to customers and offer a solution...but in this case, it was literally about putting our orders in to-go boxes instead of plates. We didn't even notice or complain. Yet, the boss was loudly scolding them for "wasting money" and asking, "Is this your day one?" 1/5 -- Horrible management ruined the whole experience We stopped by Bikini Burgers on Halloween, and honestly, the food wasn't terrible -- my fish & chips had decent flavor, though the batter was soggy and the portion was small for the price. But the real issue was the manager (or owner). This woman was an absolute nightmare to watch. She was dressed in a pink mermaid costume, more worried about fixing her wig and appearance than actually running the food truck. She spent the entire time micromanaging, scolding, and embarrassing her staff in front of everyone. At one point she yelled about them "wasting her money" because they prepared to-go orders to people eating at the tables. There was only one cook and one guy trying to take orders and serve food -- both working their asses off while she barked orders and hovered. Like lady...... maybe help instead of standing there trying to look pretty ??? It was honestly uncomfortable to watch. The staff were clearly trying their best, but the toxic, unprofessional management made the whole vibe awful. The food truck might have potential, but with that kind of leadership?
