The loco fries were amazing! Such a great combination with their smash burgers especially if you have the room to stuff yourself.

As a local of Los Angeles, I did not imagine I would be trying a lot of smash burgers in Honolulu, but because I live here now, I have no choice but to try the smash burgers here. My friends were visiting from LA of all places, and were craving a smash burger. They were staying in Waikīkī and were a fifteen minute walk from here. There are tables set up with chairs to eat outside. Felt right for a nighttime burger. These visiting friends said that of all the places they tried, Aloha had the *best* smash burgers ever. (LA needs to step up their smash burger game it sounds like.) We all ordered the Aloha smash burger, which I presume is the flagship. It was tasty. The guy giving us our order gifted us some extra house special sauce, which he says is made from cilantro and strawberry among other things. It's tangy, which I really like. The Aloha smash burger is of course delicious. I needed a walk afterwards.

Food truck off the beaten path of Kalakaua Ave which makes it not insanely busy with tourists. Aloha Smash Burger was hands down the best burger in O'ahu. We ordered an Aloha Burger that comes with toasted bun, Japanese mayo, two homemade patties, lettuce, tomato, American and Monterey jack cheese, and secret sauce. The burger packed with flavor and cooked just right. The secret sauce is a strawberry cilantro blend that's super unique with the front end being a tad sweet and the back end having a slight kick. The fries were well seasoned and crispy. There are tables set up around the food truck with cafe lights strung across the area, giving it a nice vibe to enjoy your meal. Aloha Smash Burger is a must try if you're in O'ahu!

We stayed at Malia, and this little food truck was right around the corner. Quintessential, PERFECT smash burgers. Crispy edges, crispy seasoned fries...all one could ask for in a burger and fries. Will definitely return next time we're in town!

The burger was SO delicious! we would definitely come back here. If you come to waikiki, this is a place you MUST try. The service was okay, the girl that was taking our order seemed a bit tired, we understand! The place is in a small ish corner, it's a food truck so you know it's going to be good. We took our food to-go but there's small tables there that you can sit at.

I honestly can not say enough good things about this tiny truck of deliciousness! Super cute little family owned food truck! We came in the night it was the brother and sister working and they were really a great team! The food was phenomenal. I was low key upset we didn't find this little place on day one because I would have come everyday! The food is seasoned well and it smacks! Nothing about this place was mid. If you're in Waikiki give it a try you will not be disappointed! I would give them 10 stars if I could!! Kudos to you Aloha fam!

Nested beside the Courtyard Waikiki Beach Hotel. The vibe is cool as hell and the place smells delicious. The proprietors were friendly and helpful... the Beef/Pork burger was Sierra Hotel (if you know you know). The burgers are grilled with the onions so you get this amazing culmination. They accommodated my no/ultra low carb request perfectly. This may be my go to for the week.

Exec summary: cool little food shack , very local vibes Details: this was across the street from our hotel (Surfjack) and I was intrigued. I saw local construction workers having breakfast so I HAD to try it Got the auntie - eggs, rice and meat (Portuguese sausage) Super fun, very authentic Notes: - they do NOT have hot coffee. - no parking nearby

Aloha smash burger -mixture of pork and beef. Ah-mazing! Yes really.

One of, if not the best burger in all of Hawaii. This family owned business is quality from beginning to end. The operators and chefs were some ofthe kindest people I have met. Island raised, they greeted and served their patrons as if we were at a Michelin Star restaurant. The original aloha smash burger is beyond belief good. Layered burger cheese burger cheese and condiments on toasted buns to create a nearly perfect experience. Don't monkey with the original unless you just hate something on there. Like any great burger, this recipe is tried and true. The experience is the total package. It is balanced and flavorful. My only warning is that if you are not local, you'll dream of this burger. You'll have to make another trip to the islands for the burger. Start saving, ya?

    The signature...ALOHA smash burger! ONO!

Updating my review: THEY OPEN AT 6AM AND SERVE DELICIOUS BREAKFAST NOW! Today I ordered the guava bread French toast combo with eggs and meat. It's their top selling item on the menu! I'll be uploading a breakfast menu (As of 03.07.25) so be sure to check it out! Ambiance is great like always. These guys are awesome and the food is great!

Aloha Smash Burger Waikiki might be small in size, but it delivers a big punch in flavor, especially with its signature Aloha Smash Burger. Tucked away in the vibrant streets of Waikiki, this place proves that great food doesn't need a sprawling dining space to make an impact. Every bite of their Aloha Smash Burger is an experience in itself. The burger is grilled to perfection, with a wonderful sear on the outside that locks in all the juicy flavors. The star of the show is definitely the beef patty, which is cooked to have a nice crust while staying tender and moist on the inside. You can tell they use quality ingredients, as each layer of the burger--from the melted cheese to the fresh veggies and the soft, pillowy bun, complements the other beautifully. There's a subtle sweetness in the sauce that pairs perfectly with the savory beef, creating a well-balanced taste that makes you want to keep biting into it. The flavors feel thoughtfully put together, giving the burger a unique Hawaiian twist. For burger enthusiasts, Aloha Smash Burger Waikiki should be on your must-try list. It's impressive how they pack so much flavor and quality into such a small space. This little spot has all the aloha spirit and taste you'd expect from a truly memorable Hawaiian burger joint.

It came with three sides so I got cole slaw, potato salad, and Mac and cheese. Cole slaw and Mac and cheese were solid; Potato salad was just alright. They also gave one warm bun too. The reason I gave 3 stars was because service was extremely slow. It seemed like they were short staff and had one person at the cash register AND getting the food. He would take a few orders, and then grab the food. When I arrived, he was grabbing food for multiple folks so then I stood there waiting like 15 just to place my order. Then when he restarted and took my order, he took like 5 more orders before grabbing the food so then I waited even longer for another 15 min. That's 30 min of waiting! Also he wasn't serving food in the order that orders were received so it felt actually felt even longer. There needs to be a better system! Surprisingly he did a employee discount on my order. Not sure if it's because it was close to closing time. Btw they charge extra if you order to-go because of the supplies for packaging. Now I've had a lot of these in my life, and I must say, Iyasume are easily the best. See musubi and onigiri have humble origins as a quickly made homespun snack or on the go lunch, and when you spot them in the convenience environment they're often a giant ball of rice with a tinge of protein or seasoning for flavor. At Iyasume, these are culinary adventures, stacked with ingredients, all in handheld form, and the variety they offer is IMPRESSIVE! Of course musubi starts with the classic, SPAM. I had to order the kimchi + spam, shiso + spam, and unagi + tamago + spam, all of which were awesome (even the next day!). However, after having to abandon our original dinner plans, we were no less intrigued after randomly stumbling across this place. While they may not have been our first choice for dinner, coming here was far more appealing than eating fast food or at the nearby IHOP! Although seeing so many folks at this mini food truck park may have been what caught our attention, it was the boxes of fried chicken on nearly every table that swayed us to try Waikiki Chicken in Paradise in particular. After skimming the menu, it wasn't hard to see why they were such a popular choice - everything on it sounded great. Granted, that's not overly difficult when there are only eight items to choose from, but tough to argue with the likes of fried chicken loco moco, fried chicken curry rice, fried chicken sandwiches, chicken & croffle, and fish & chips! Since we saw how big the portion were and didn't want anything too heavy (read: sadly, no loco moco or Japanese curry), we opted to split a FRIED CHICKEN RICE PLATE ($16.95) which came with a Fried Chicken Cutlet over White Rice with Mac Salad & Green Salad. Funny enough, despite already having a sense of how much food they give, I was still surprised by the generous portion size. As for how it all tasted, this was great. The breading on the chicken reminded me of Popeye's (though, without the spice), the batter was crispy, and the chicken itself was rather moist. As for the sides, the mac salad was pretty good, but the salad was a little heavy on dressing. If there was one thing I could change about our order, I think I'd want to see how it would taste with a sauce or glaze. At the very least, I'd definitely go with a different dipping sauce, like their Pineapple Ginger, Lilikoi Mayo, or Guava BBQ, as the Honey Mustard we went with tasted a bit generic. Of course, we could've solved both problems if we had gone with the Fried Chicken Loco Moco or Fried Chicken Curry Rice instead! I guess I'll just have to wait until the next time I'm in Waikiki!
