We ordered an Aloha Burger that comes with toasted bun, Japanese mayo, two homemade patties, lettuce, tomato, American and Monterey jack cheese, and secret sauce. The burger packed with flavor and cooked just right. The secret sauce is a strawberry cilantro blend that's super unique with the front end being a tad sweet and the back end having a slight kick. Was recomended this place by a friend who just visited. So unique that this place combines beef and pork to give the burger a special kind of taste. Extremely disappointing customer service. We came here intending to order food, but their card machine was down. We already had a $50 bill and simply asked if they could break it so we could pay for our order. They wouldn't break the $50, so we went to an ATM to get smaller bills just so we could still purchase food from them. What really made the experience unacceptable was the way we were treated just for asking if they could break the $50. It was a simple question, but they apparently took offense to it. After we went to the ATM and came back, the situation became unnecessarily hostile, and we were cursed at by the staff. We weren't being disrespectful--we were trying to figure out how to pay because their card machine was down. We even went out of our way to find an ATM and get different cash. There was absolutely no reason for employees to curse at customers over something this minor. A card machine being down is understandable. Not being able to break a $50 is understandable. Cursing at customers and treating them disrespectfully for simply asking a question is not. We came here wanting to spend our money and support the business, but after being treated this way, I definitely would not recommend this place. read more

We were hanging out in Waikiki and came here for dinner on a whim. It's a little food truck nearby some apartments (or a motel? not sure) and is pretty hidden if you don't know where you're going. That said, it was one of the best meals we had in Waikiki! We ordered two Aloha Burgers and we were really impressed with how juicy and flavorful the burger was! The combination of meat, cheeses, and their sauces was so good - definitely visit Aloha Smash Burger! They have some seating area nearby but if you're there during the day - the birds are rather aggressive in Waikiki so be careful. You could order drinks from here and get it from the cooler...but there's also an ABC nearby where you can get it a bit more affordably. Lastly, a minor complaint but if you try and order the burger without fries you still have to pay regular price. Kinda lame but whatever. read more
