Build-your-own with half rice half greens, salmon, spicy ahi, edamame, seaweed salad, ginger, furikake

Solid poke place! We ordered two different build-your-own bowls for takeout. After trying nearly all of the different proteins, I would definitely reccomend the miso crab, the garlic shrimp, and the spicy ahi.

Food: ***** A-. At first bite, I love the freshness of this bowl. I like that you have two choices: small or large which is ample for two meals. There are so many protein choices and you can choose two! I opted to make an almost vegetarian bowl with a bit of local ahi, tofu, edamame, avocado (extra $ and a little tangy), seaweed, cucumber, onions, sesame oil and seed. Service: ***** A. The young gals here do an exceptional job moving you in and out of this fast food joint on the main strip of crowded Waikiki beach. Being able to field questions in unique accents of people from all over the world can be a challenge! Ambiance: ***** A. The restaurant was light, white, bright and clean. It is just steps away from the Marriott. Dietitian Dorothy's nutrition tip: order the brown rice for more B vitamins, fiber, healthy fats and microbiome friendly food!

If you want a scoop of any fish à la carte, it's two dollars however if it's salmon and tuna it's four dollars per scoop. They have outdoor seating, which is awesome if you were bringing a pet. Six scoops was about a bowl for $12. They are also selling Dole soft serve. Dole whip with pineapple toppings was only $7.53! Thank you to the staff for being so nice to us and my dog!

Surprisingly good for Waikiki beach takeout. The fish was fresh, choices for white or brown rice or salad or combo. What's not to love? If you have a sweet tooth, they even serve Dole Whip!

Cute spot located on the main road. I got a spicy tuna bowl and it did not disappoint. The ingredients were fresh and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Stopped by Poke Bar Waikiki for lunch and it was definitely a popular spot and there was a long line, but the service was pretty fast and efficient, so the wait wasn't bad at all. They offer both signature bowls and the option to build your own, which I went for. It definitely has more of a mainland-style poke vibe, with a ton of toppings and sauces to choose from, but honestly it was still super good! The flavors were bold and unique, and I was surprised by how spicy it ended up being (in a good way!). The fish was fresh and high quality, and everything tasted well-balanced. It's a great spot if you're craving poke with lots of customization and flavor. Would totally come back for a quick and tasty lunch in Waikiki!

We tried this poke spot out today for lunch while we were hanging out at the beach. We placed a to go order through door dash and brought it back to the beach. The fish was fresh and we liked the sauces better than Maguro spot, which we tried the other day. The sauces weren't as salty and the bowls were bigger compared to what we got at maguro spot (also poke salads). Also our add on toppings for this place wasn't an extra charge like at Maguro spot. The basic toppings were included in the price and we did 2 create your own bowls ( 3 proteins, plus some toppings). One bowl was with ponzu sauce and the other bowl was spicy mayo. So far this is our go to spot for poke places.

VEGAN OPTION: Poke bowl with tofu x2 as the protein. There's so many vegan options for toppings and sauces. You'll really feel like you're having a decent meal! The portions are big and servings are generous. The employees were so friendly and accommodating. Great for to go food or they have outdoor seating!

Great service, friendly, easy to order. Would recommend coming back, food is soo good!!

We landed in the evening and were looking for a pokey place and came across Poké bar in Waikiki. They close at nine so we were able to make it before they closed. I don't know if I would call this a traditional poke place, but I actually really liked it as it has other ingredients other than just fish but also healthy greens and I felt that it was a really good balance between all of the ingredients. I personally got the two protein and we got a lot of crab meat and it was delicious. I would come here again, even if it's not just fish and rice because I really how good the service was and it's a great place to just get a quick bite.

This is hands down some of the freshest poke I've had! The fish quality is top-tier and melts in your mouth. Pro tip: You HAVE to add the jalapeños. It gives the bowl the perfect kick and elevates all the flavors. So delicious!

First time trying their bowls. I got a bowl with everything cooked from crab to shrimp etc. it was soo delicious. Highly recommend this spot. Staff was welcoming and friendly. They answered all the questions I had and were flexible etc.

Cute and bright little poke spot by the beach with breezy, no‑frills vibe. Building my bowl felt like a choose‑your‑own‑adventure in freshness: edamame, seaweed salad, jalapeño, and a sprinkle of green onion. The salmon practically dissolved on my tongue, buttery and clean. Their local‑style tuna was the star of the show, seasoned just enough to let the natural flavor shine. Portions were generous - a small honestly felt like the perfect size for me without tipping into "food‑coma" territory. I loved that they offered both white and brown rice and spring mix. A drizzle of ponzu gave the whole bowl a citrusy zip. I haven't seen kale as a base before but that was a cool option as well. Service was fast and friendly, even with a steady line on Easter. Bonus points for the handful of outdoor tables where you can watch the waves crash while you eat.

I missed the photo op but there was nothing captivating. The spicy sauce on the spicy salmon couldn't cover up the gamey taste. Same goes for the miso ahi, but it was slightly better than the salmon. The poke wasn't cut consistently, had some stringy pieces, and wasn't cold enough either. It seemed like it had been saturated for a while, too slimy. Plastic or styrofoam bowls would definitely help with the presentation. They're currently charging $20 for poke bowls served in a mini plate lunch container filled with mostly rice. The best part of the trip was the gelato. It's not theirs, they are vendors for Il Gelato. The dragonfruit and mango lilikoi combo made up for the mediocre poke. I would return for the gelato.

I just wished there was a bit more white onion for crunch, but it was good regardless. The Fish and Chips were really good. The fish was super crispy, the meat was firm, and the fries were nicely fried. The tartar sauce or maybe more of a lemony aioli, was the star. It wasn't your usual tartar sauce; it had a homemade lemony sweetness that made it delicious. Now I've had a lot of these in my life, and I must say, Iyasume are easily the best. See musubi and onigiri have humble origins as a quickly made homespun snack or on the go lunch, and when you spot them in the convenience environment they're often a giant ball of rice with a tinge of protein or seasoning for flavor. At Iyasume, these are culinary adventures, stacked with ingredients, all in handheld form, and the variety they offer is IMPRESSIVE! Of course musubi starts with the classic, SPAM. I had to order the kimchi + spam, shiso + spam, and unagi + tamago + spam, all of which were awesome (even the next day!). Onigiri here are actually layered with ingredients, so you get them in every bite, unlike the convenience store versions!
