I usually go here 2 or 3 times a month i get the #7 junior roast beef, small fry, small drink not bad for a little over $ 7.00 dollars, employees seem to be nice only problem is at 11:00 P.M. they close the dining room? that only leaves 2 tables to eat at so if their are people at those 2 tables either you eat in your car or you take the food home. read more

Where do I begin. The rude girl behind the counter, that's a good place to start. If you hate your job, find another! Portions of beef seem to go done every 6 months while the price increases. This is the same for the Salem location. You are better off going to McDonald's or dunks for a sandwich. Probably the counter help is the worst. Tonight I got 5 grey hairs in my Roast Beef Sandwich, demanded my money and walked out. The two employees looked mentally slow, and were over the age of 65, restaurant is out dated, they still serve soda in Styrofoam cups, get with the program! But honestly a bunch of pieces of Grey Hair in my Food, never going back, Please Beware! I went to this place every day of my life my freshman year in High School. Roxy and Stefano still work there all these years later, and they are like family to me, but I didn't let it sway my review because I'm a conscious yelper. Granted I have patronized this place a rediculous amount of times, but I have seen a few things that would turn you off to a place like this. They don't run the ship the way the location in Salem does. The Beef is still good though, and their open late. The crowd that shows up around 1-1:30 in Peabody is usually a riot too. 3 stars. read more

Last time I went to Bill and Bob's on Route 1 before Saugus, junior 3-way was perfect. The one in Salem, also good. However, this one in Peabody does not do it for me. I even gave it a second shot just to see if it would be any better. No dice. The mayo completely overpowered the bread sandwich I had received. There was a small amount of thick, very well done, dry roast-beef. It just disappointed me so so much. Everything else there is good. It's just too bad because I live in walking distance and would rather get in my car and drive to Land and Sea to get my jr beef 3-way. read more

I have tried the roast beef at other Bill and Bob's locations and it is great, but I did not try the roast beef here. I got the mozzarella sticks here and they are the best I have ever had. They were fried to absolute perfection. Some places have the ones where the cheese is tough to chew. But this was not the case at all here. You get a fair quantity for a fair price. read more

Meh. The Salem location is way better. Peabody location skimps on the amount of Roast beef in the sandwich, the fries were decent. Pizza Roll is nothing to write home about. Counter help is not too friendly. Not much of a bargain fro price, either. Nick's in Beverly and Supreme in Danvers beat this place hands down. Cash only? What is this, 1978? Should have gone to the Salem location, much better and friendlier. read more

Bill and bobs close at 2am on week day nights, and the lady that I spoke with told me that there closing now and the current time is 1:15 am. This is a case of false advertising and I am extremely outraged at this kind of catastrophe so there for I am giving this plays 3 stars. Only because they do have a the craziest roast beef 3 way ( doesn't compare to land and sea) but still satisfactory. read more

ken.l. my mother moved in the old age apts right behind b&b's so the other night being out with my girl friend i thought it would be nice to treat my mother to a roast beef & fries,well it was a bad choice , my mother did not eat what i ate during the day so i know it was the beef & fries we ate there. all three of us woke up during the night with loose bowels and had it for a day and a half i went back to tell the lady that served us to tell she might of had some bad piece of meat. and all i got was no way ,not here , we have the freashist meat, so i said i am not here to argue i just wanted to tell you so no one else got it . sad to say but you will never see my face in that b&b's again. thank you and stay away far away. read more

Best beef I have ever had! Perfect proportions of toppings and lots of lean beef. Efficient service and the best fast food around.

We were visiting this area this past weekend and stopped in to get a bite prior to heading to a wedding. Wow it was simply delicious! So much so we got to sandwiches to go for the next day versus having to eat airport food. We landed in ATL got to the car almost 12 hours later and the sandwiches were still as delicious. Although the best was when it was still warm at the restaurant. Also such nice people attending to the customers. Thank you!! read more

Sorry. Not the same Bill & Bobs I use to go to. The original in Lynn on the Lynnway way back when and the one in Salem on Bridge street were in a class of their own. Bill Alyward Sr. and Jr gave you a perfect roast beef sandwich. Plenty of moist tasty tender beef (Not all bun) hot on a grilled bun with all the condiments. French fries and onion rings also fresh and not dried out. Certainly made fresh to order. My choices now I guess are Nicks in Beverly, Land and Sea on a good day and Kellys in Danvers. Be prepared to spend a lot of moola at Kellys though. Bigger overhead and a cleaner place and yes the quality is better but you will pay a lot more! That is my story folks on roast beef sandwiches on the North Shore. read more

The lady in the front is crazy but it's pretty entertaining to be honest. Food comes out quick, a bit overpriced but not awful. I love the roast beef and the fries, I'm afraid to order anything else though the place just looks really dirty. It's open really late which is good for a 1am munchies run. 3/5 only because they're open late and the roast beef is delicious. read more

This place was pretty damn good about 5 years ago but has since fallen pretty hard. The beef smells more like wet dog than a great beef sandwich. Go down the street to brothers or land n sea. This place is right near my house so I hope they fix the place up and step their game up otherwise I cant imagine them being around forever. When your drunk and it's late, hands down better than a mcdonalds or fast food, but I havent been there in a while, just had a big beef w/sauce and a small fry, the fries where decent, but the thing i always notice is i get chewwy fatty pieces in the beef, and i always forget they treat the sauce like liquid gold, better ask for extra extra to sop a little roughness out of the bread, for my money ill be going to charlies roast beef in Middleton, always a solid sandwich, this place absolutely running on the late night and name recognition read more
