Williams auto group in Sayre PA worked on my Toyota Sienna Van in May 2024 for AC not blowing cold…read moreair , didn't blow cold from new always warm ,took it too Williams Toyota May 2024 with 8000 miles they worked on it said was fixed van had around 8000 miles on it ,after the following winter it blew warm again van now had 14000 miles June 2025 ,I asked the service advisor if this repair would still be under warranty cause if not I was going to take back to selling dealer, she indicated it would be covered ,after having the van for four hours they told me they could not find a leak but they refilled it with Freon ,charged me 350 dollars ,for a non repair ,AC quit a week later selling dealer took it to Toyota dealer in Allentown PA they fixed it with two new orings ,Toyota corporate brand does absolutely nothing they sell you a vehicle with defective AC tell you tough ,their dealership in Sayre PA does a non repair and they just want your money all greedy dont count on corporate Toyota to go to bat for you because after the sale you are on your own buy a Honda instead

During that time, I spoke directly with a mechanic who told me they were looking for a part to get the process started. Despite that, months passed with no follow-up or progress. I reached out several times for updates, and it wasn't until late November/early December that the advisor finally informed me of issues with my vehicle--after it had already been sitting on their lot for months. Because of the lack of communication and follow-up, my car remained on their property. Despite this, I was later told about possible storage fees, even though the delays were due to unanswered calls and messages on their end while I was actively trying to move the process forward. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I noticed scratches and an indentation on the passenger side that were not present when I dropped it off. When I asked to see footage to understand what may have happened, Kyle immediately became defensive instead of attempting to resolve the issue. He raised his voice and stated that my vehicle was "not his responsibility," despite it being on his lot and under his care. Kyle stated there was "nothing written" saying vehicles are their responsibility while on his property, yet in the same conversation said he "wasn't the one who looked at the car" and shifted blame to a mechanic. At the same time, he blamed others in his shop for information I had previously been given. The constant deflection and lack of accountability was extremely unprofessional. This situation escalated over $120 for a diagnostic fee, which I had in my hand and was fully prepared to pay. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Kyle continued to raise his voice and speak to me disrespectfully. The way he spoke to me as a woman was unacceptable and not how a business owner should conduct himself. What made this worse is that instead of attempting to resolve the issue privately or professionally, Kyle took to social media and made posts about the situation. Since then, multiple people have reached out to me sharing similar experiences with this shop, including poor communication, long delays, and unresolved issues with their vehicles. I understand that auto repairs can be complex. However, professionalism, accountability, and communication are non-negotiable--especially when a customer's vehicle sits in your care for months. Damage to a customer's car, aggressive behavior, and blaming employees or customers instead of taking responsibility is not acceptable. I genuinely try to support Black-owned and local businesses, but support should never require tolerating disrespect, poor communication, unprofessional conduct, or damage to personal property without accountability. Because of this experience, I removed my vehicle and had it sent to another shop. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions.
