~$300 WORTH OF DAMAGE CAUSED BY LINDER'S. USED INCORRECTLY-SIZED PARTS ON MY VEHICLE THAT DAMAGED MY CAR NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR REPAIRS. LINDER'S TIRES DAMAGED MY WHEEL HUB. Linder's Tires replaced two wheel studs in my wheel using STUDS THAT WERE THE INCORRECT SIZE. I had gotten a couple tires from Linder's Tires several months back. I got a flat today and that's when I found out. America's Tire informed me that Linder's put the WRONG SIZE wheel studs in and in doing so Linder's destroyed my wheel hub. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I took my truck here to have the brakes replace and rotors turned, it was 240 dollars and I brought my own carbon fiber pads due to the mountain driving and needing high heat tolerant pads.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This place changed my pads and turned my rotors, we drove the truck home and everything seemed ok until we drove at higher speed the next day, the car shook violently when you touched the breaks, My husband left work and returned the next day, they tell us our rotors need replacing , I said it didn't do this before why is it shaking now after you turn them, he says its because I need new ones. So he turns the rotors again and now they no longer shake, so maybe if they did it right the first time I wouldn't have had to waste three hours doing it again and being told I need new rotors when I didnt , they just messed them up turning them or the lack of turning them, and on top of all that they chipped my new brake pads, were never going back there, they offered no refund at all. They would not work with me at all and wasted my time, I had used them previously for rotations with no issue, so I thought id try them for something requiring higher level of skill, apparently, rotating tires is where the talent ends read more

Never trust this shop with your car! The tire shop patched one of my tires and scratched the entire front of my rim face. I know that the scratches were never there because I was looking at the tire and rim while filling up the tire for 10 minutes with an inflator before driving there. It was the only rim they touched and the only rim with scratches in the face yet they completely denied it and wouldn't take ownership of their mistake. I can cough up the $100 to repair but for them to deny it, don't ever trust them with your car! read more

There's very few tire shops up here in crestline I took my vehicle in had brakes put on I never seen the percentage left on the original brake pads they never showed it to me they just said it was 10% left I suggested I could bring my own brake pads and they recommended not to but the would do it for $80 so what I did because they couldn't do it that particular date I drove down the hill and I went to a tire shop he pulled off the front and the rear tires off my vehicle to my surprise all brake pads brake shoes or 85% front and back he had quoted me at linder's tire shop the heavyset guy that there was 10% left and you don't have much longer use of them now that answered my question when we brought in our Mitsubishi about 2 months before the Subaru we had the brakes changed put on in the front of the Subaru he told us to leave the car there which we did we finally got it back at the end of the day we drove off 3 weeks later our brakes were squeaking it was down to approximately 15% 10%. I had them changed elsewhere I will never ever recommend this place that's my own experience the mechanics they took a look at it at lenders in the heavy said guy they console with each other he comes out talks to the customer and says hey you got 10% left you need to change your brakes I will never go there and actually what I see he is not a good asset for the community of crestline and there's not many tire shop so is he taking advantage that's pretty rotten of you sir tonight even change your brakes and say you did and then when I take the Subaru and you said there's 10% left I took it down down the hill and they showed me 85% left on the ones you quoted me 10%. How do you sleep you're robbing the community without a weapon the guys are great there they're fast workers and everything else but the communication and him tell you one thing and it's another thing he should get reported to better Business bureau which I intend to good luck take some advice there's many places the same price but will do the work not say they did he gives false information sorry I haven't confronted him at one point just to be honest I can't take my vehicle there no more it's just too bad we have to leave our community to go down the hill past stater Brothers there's a tire shop that I found that was honest a small tire shop that was honest as can be thank you very much read more

I have been a customer for many years. I have sent them a ton of people who have purchased tires from them. (I'm a "car guy" and a lot of people come to me for advice) But here's the deal, anyone can provide good service when things go smoothly.... you find out their character when there's a bump in the road. I took both my Jeeps in for service, new tires and brakes on one, and front end work on the other. Jeep #1 there was an honest mistake and my card ended up being run for too much money. That was in June, and I just received my reimbursement today... in September! Every excuse in the book I literally had to send copies of bank statements to prove they had my money. I owned my own company and have been taking credit cards forever. Definitely not OK how this went down. The owner Tony either lied to my face or can't pick up the phone to call and learn how to process a refund. Jeep #2 They claimed they could not straighten the steering wheel.... I did it myself. (And yes, to spec) None of the new ball joints had been greased and half of them didn't even have the "zerk fittings" installed.... when I called, Tony basically didn't believe me and dismissed it. I ended up doing that myself as well. (Good thing I knew enough to look) EVERY company with humans makes mistakes. The mistakes didn't bother me at all. However how I was treated by the owner bothered me a lot. As long as things go his way, it's all good. When things don't go his way, from my experience, you will be at the very bottom of his to do list. No more tires from me. No more referrals from me, I will be encouraging people to go elsewhere. Not OK. The #2 guy there, Romero, is a pretty cool guy so if you do take a chance, ask for him. Hopefully you won't have any problems with the work done... and you may want another mechanic to inspect they did their job correctly.... just sayin. read more

I brought my AWD 2017 Dodge Journey GT in yesterday. I had purchased tires a few months ago from Big O in Rancho. I've had problems with a shimmy at 65-70 mph ever since. I brought it back to Big O for balancing twice with no luck. Linder's got me right in for a balance and rotation. Little expensive at $60, but my problem is gone 100%. I am really amazed with this place. The have gotten me in and out for three separate flat tires that I had. They were able to get me the same tire that I had on my car, a Toyo, and it was done so quickly that I was stunned. On one occasion I limped my other car, with different tires, into their garage and they had me out and driving away in less than an hour for plugging the tire. I am just so impressed by their speed and their affordability. I wound up paying about $50 less for a new tire that I had bought new at a place down the hill. To be fair, we've purchased several sets of tires from them before with no problems. However, when my husband & I stopped in to pick up some chains for our new car, the experience was entirely different! Not only was the gentleman behind the counter extremely rude and dismissive to the woman in front of us (who ended up leaving with no help), but was snotty and rude to us! When told the price (which had gone up severely since we'd called), we mentioned that we'd already called and his reply was "...and? We have more business than we can deal with so take it or leave it.". My husband told him that we were repeat customers and locals and really shouldn't be treated with that attitude, he promptly told him that if he didn't like it to go down the hill or deal with it. Needless to say, we will not be going back there again. We try very hard to buy locally and keep our money on the mountain. Unfortunately, with such disrespectful and rude service, we simply cannot support that. NEVER EVER should an employee treat a customer like that!! What a shame! read more

I was straight out lied to by a worker there when getting my tires rotated. They said I have 20% left on my breaks but I didn't want to get them done there. I went to my Subaru Dealership for my 30k mile service a few weeks later. I told them that I know I need breaks and that I will get them done elsewhere.. they told me that I have 8mm left on my breaks.. they come with 9mm! Meaning they are fine and are almost in new condition. I will never go back to lying Linders again.. and too bad for them.. Saved my Bacon again. I had a new set of tires installed at Big O near work in Tustin and it was a horror show, the balance was off and it shook like crazy at frwy speeds. I went back and they re-balanced them, it was no better. I called to see how busy Linder's was on Sat.and Romero called me back later when a spot opened up in front and I drove right over. He did exactly what Big O neglected to do ( strip all the old weights off before mounting the new tires ). 1st Brett checked the balance and they were all off ! The worst was 2.5 oz on the outside and 1.5 on the inside. weights removed and it only needed 1.5 total. They stripped all the weights off and balanced the tires and now it's nice and smooth. I hit a rock coming down the hill and ripped both my passenger side tires. My dealership told me they didn't have time for me. I called Linder's and they said they had my tires in stock and to have my car towed to them. Jonathan, the mechanic was super busy with lots of customers but he still got my car in line and took care of me.
