Steve and the Davis Auto Body & Paint are outstanding! How lucky are us Mountain Folks to have a service like this on the mountain. Steve had me swing my car by for quotes since I have 2 small collision work to be done. After the quote, he was so honest and could have scored a lot more money. One of the repairs needed was a driver side back bumper was pulled out. The other repair are scratches low side on the passenger doors. The quote for the bumper was very reasonable. Steve suggested I just have the bumper repaired (which took 20 minutes) and wait through this winter to see how my car has held up and then decide if I even want to fix the scratches. I stopped into Davis Auto Body & Paint today to get a quote on repairing my headlight in my Hyundai Elantra. I had taken my car to the Hyundai dealership in Fontana, and they quoted me $800 to replace the headlight unit. They said it'd be that much because they needed to take the bumper off the car to replace it. Because it seemed outrageously expensive, I took it to Davis Auto Body to get a second quote. The guys were really friendly and told me that it wasn't the wiring in the unit that was bad like the dealership had said but it was in fact just the light bulb! They replaced it for FREE for me and wouldn't accept payment. I'm so grateful for their help and really appreciated them helping me out. read more

I had my front bumper repaired after someone hit my car in a parking lot and didn't leave a note. I called my insurance company, and it cost me my 1,000 dollar deductible towards the total 1,900 dollar fee at a repair shop in Highland. When the right side of the bumper came off eight months later, I knew it would cost more than I could afford again, but I went to Davis Auto Body fir an estimate. It cost me under 300 dollars to make it look great. The price was amazing and I was so grateful that I could afford it. BUT the real reason for this review is to praise the people who I met there. Not only did they have a comfy waiting room where I could read magazines while my car was repaired, but they asked me if the room was warm enough, offered me coffee and candy, but when my car was ready to go, I found they had reattached the rocker under my driver's side doors, for an extra bonus, for free. Everone was kind, caring, respectful, and most of all, generous, Steve and his team really SEE a customer, even elderly women who are often invisible. I can recommend this company with the highest praise and gratitude for my old car and for me. Went in to have my mirror cover painted. Part on hand, prepped and primed. No installation required. I paid just shy of $200 to have it sprayed. The quality was fine. Being in the autobody industry for 40 years I know what gas to be done. Book time is .5 hour labor plus materials. You be the judge if it was a fair price. After installing larger tires on my Grand Cherokee (at a different company) I had some pretty bad rub in the wheel housing. After taking it to several "tire specialists" and fab shops for estimates, Davis Auto Body was able to fix the issue for a far more reasonable price. They have the friendliest staff I have encountered in the auto body/tire and wheel industry. I highly recommend them; they will diagnose your problem and get you in and out as quickly as possible at a very reasonable price. Great owner , excellent service ! the bodyshop owner literally saved my day- he personally stopped on the road where I was stuck in the middle of the forest with my flat tire on my way to my San Bernandino court job where you can not be late , put some air in it( !!!) and brought me to the tire shop around a corner that fixed my problem in 15 min time So I was not even late that much ! Great work and very personable service. My Wrangler had some rear quarter panel damage and the tailgate suffered some serious tweeking, so I decided to get an entire new assembly. Joe Black offered to try and use as many existing parts as possible to save me some coin, and we can all apprecite that! Checking in a few days later, Jose, their seasoned body man, invited me in to see what I thought and I was so excited to see the bends were expertly untweeked (too bad we can't do that with Miley). This says a lot about their service, as I really felt they were working WITH me, not just hired to do a job, but a team working to get my ride back on the road and looking great! Can't say enough good things about Davis Auto Body, dropped off my 2014 Camero SS due to a fender bender on the passenger side. The door was unable to open and and needed some cosmetic work. Shelly and Joe (the owners) took care of everything, from getting the insurance paperwork taken care of, to meticulously repairing my car. Shelly said they ordered 3 fenders because they q a's noted it to be perfect. Such attention to detail was a welcome change. This place takes pride in their work, so if your looking to get your car in and out in 30 minutes, go somewhere else. The Mountain community up here is small, therefore reputations are mean a lot. My friend recommended this place because his Dodge sportscar needed a new exhaust, this man is very picky about his vehicles, so when he suggested Davis Auto Body, I felt comfortable. Joe is a heck of a nice guy, but they just don't get the job done. I took a Jeep in to straighten the frame about 6 weeks ago. It hasn't been over a harsh speed bump let alone off-roading. I took it in on a Tuesday and was told to call back the next day and set up a time to bring it in. Three days and four phone calls later, Joe still hasn't called me back. So, now I'm sitting here with a still bent jeep frame and less $911.00 for the pleasure. Go elsewhere. read more
