I would give them zero if I could. I bought thermador appliances for my whole kitchean and nothing but problems. Oven doesn;t work now, called. waited 3 weeks for service. Technician charged me for visit just to tell meexactly what I told the rep when I called. Ordered the part and now they won;t let me schedule the part install now. "its not how we do it". so now I need to wait a week for it to come in, then schedule the install and wait another 3 weeks. This is not the first time I have had issues with them. I bought a 13 thousand dollars Viking refrigerator. the day it was delivered it had a defective part and the freezer wasn't working correctly. This can happen I suppose, but it is the way it was handled that makes them the worst appliance store. I am over 8 weeks into waiting for the issue to be resolved. I'm disgusted by Bill Smith Appliances and the way they have handled the problem. I just get the run around, and rudely. They happily took my money and I have a 13 thousand dollars refrigerator that does work. When you read reviews that are good, that's great, but when you read negative reviews ask yourself would I want that to happen to me. They have a lot of negative reviews. I cannot express any greater dissatisfaction with an appliance store for Sales and Service. We bought a Bosch Coffee Machine from BS less than year ago. It has worked less than 50% of the time and Bill Smith repair cannot figure out how to repair it. We have a newly constructed home and they have come and taken the machine away for repair leaving a hole in our wall. They then brought it back and had someone else come into our home for repair. They said "we will order you a new machine" 6 months ago. We are still waiting. No one there cares about the quality of their service. I wish I would have gone elsewhere than BS. I bought over $10,000 worth of appliances along with an extended warranty from this location. The Samsung refrigerator failed within the warranty period and Bill Smith has been no help getting the repair being made. Over 8 weeks with so much as an any assistance getting Samsung to make good on the warranty. Over 20 calls and hours wasted waiting for service people. We ordered new Cafe appliances from Bills. We knew the wait would be long and that was fine. Our issue was with the installation. The installer botched our newly painted kitchen cabinets and the flooring around the dishwasher. We were told by Bills it wasn't their responsibility (even though we hired Bills to do the work and they subcontracted it out- not us). The sub keeps giving us the run around saying he will come repair the damages, but has not showed up to do so it's been 5 months. read more

We wanted to upgrade our refrigerator and thought why not shop local at Bill Smith Appliance on Marco Island. We went in during season and found that most models needed to be ordered, so we picked a model that the store already had on order coming in soon. Like most products ordered these days, the refrigerator did not arrive until after season. We were back north and the house was shuttered for storms. We accepted delivery and paid the invoice in full for product, delivery and setup, and installation. The refrigerator was left in the garage and we were told verbally and with a written note that setup and installation would occur when we returned, just give them a call. Now after our arrival, with stopping in the showroom 3 times and calling often the salesperson stated we would be in the schedule and gave us 3 different days of install dates. Never happened! They keep stating we should return to the showroom in 3 more days to recheck on the statuses. Found out all deliveries and installs are 3rd party contractors. We managed to find someone on our own to help move the refrigerator inside and installed it ourselves! The installation and setup fee has not been refunded despite us asking for it to be. Tried to buy local but was not a good experience. It took 10 days for Bill Smith to install a simple dishwasher. Had to call almost everyday to get the appliance delivered. Salesman, Peter, would not return phone calls. Installer, who is a third party, charged $175 or $45 more than the price quoted by Bill Smith. Going to HomeDepot or Lowes next time. read more

We've gone two months with no dishwasher, the parts that were suppose to take two weeks came in after one month, but they couldn't make the service call for another month after that! The guy did not secure the dishwasher to the counter/wall and it rocks back and forth in its spot. Fixing the digital clock on the microwave turned into the microwave not heating food!!!! I've visited your store in Marco Island last Monday intending to do business with a local merchant as I needed a new dishwasher as I entered the store the lady behind the desk informed me that all sales people were busy with customers that if I would wait they would come to me next. I waited and reviewed the various dishwashers and as I waited several couples entered the store after me and started looking at appliances. As sales people became available they tended to move toward the couples. I was left standing. As I became more insenced I exited the store and purchased elsewhere. I went to bill smith's because they pride themselves in service. Their service is less than acceptable. Bought a washing machine this fall. It was supposed to be delivered between 9 and 11. Didn't come until after 1:30. Just bought a new refrigerator. They called me the day before. It was supposed to be a pm delivery. They said they were delivering nearby and I'd be home at 1. They said they'd be there. At 2 I called only to find it would be the last delivery of the day. Came at 3:30. One of the drawers had a large crack on the bottom. Spoke with the salesman who said I would have to return it to them for replacement. A store that prides itself on service should have delivered a new drawer to me read more

I asked for a call back to buy something over the phone after being told the entire sales staff were with other customers. I waited half the day. I called again to asked again for a salesperson. I was told they were all busy and I would get a call back. I was told the entire day no one was not busy. No call. Called the next day around 3:00 in the afternoon to be told the same thing. I told the front desk person (same one) that I called the day before with no call back and asked if I should come in to buy my item as it seems in-person guests are prioritized.
