Purchased my vehicle from here less than 2 weeks ago. Put 1k miles on it then I noticed the serpentine belt is frayed needing to be replaced. Idk how something like that is overlooked but the vehicle is blue certified. Anyways just make sure you get a PPI before buying from here. I wrote a review on google and they told me to contact them. I was under the impression I was being given a special P# to talk to someone who could help. Nope I realized it was just the general P#. Nonetheless I called and told them about my issue otp and was told someone would get back to me as whomever deals with the complaints was not in that day or working from home. I then went to a closer Ford to see if it's something that would be covered under the blue warranty but they didn't cover it. In the meantime I was able to find the P# for my sales guy but he wasn't helpful at all. Il be out a few hundred dollars because I didn't do my due diligence from the start. If you do go here don't go for the advertised ford warranty as it doesn't seem like it'll do you any good. Only reason I bought a ford from ford was because of that. Great place to buy! Having purchased many vehicles in my life, I appreciate a dealership that doesn't play games. There's no hidden fees or add-ons when you get there. The low prices advertised are the actual prices you pay with no other BS added to them. I really love that you can pick your own accessories and not have to fight paying for stuff you don't want. I'm a 61-year-old woman who has never had a car payment. I was in an accident, only had liability insurance. I was in desperate need of a vehicle. We live 5 mins from Bill Utter and thought I'd them a try. Worst mistake in my life. The salesman Dominic came across as a go getter willing to work with me. I explained to him that I have never purchased a vehicle from a dealership and had no idea how the process went. I gave him my paperwork, paycheck stubs, driver's license etc. He took it the finance dept. He returned to tell me I had no credit; I had no idea what that meant. Next thing I know I was approved signed some paperwork Dominic told me that he was going to have freon put in for me and I left with a 2019 Jeep Cheroke NO PAPERWORK in my hand. I was out of there in less than an hour I didn't even how much the vehicle cost. Got home and my kids were like, Mom, we think you got taken advantage of you need to go back. I did I wanted to see to if I can return the vehicle, since the financing hadn't gone through, I wanted something smaller. I got the run around from Britney that was day I was given my paperwork. I was not offered any warranty and when I asked if I could get it, I was told no because I had already signed the paperwork. I left upset and disappointed. A couple of days later I went back to speak to the general Manager. A man, Andrew, took his time to listen to me and understood where I was coming from. He's the ONLY there who seemed to really want to help. Well, come to find out that Dominic no longer works there for making bad deals. But still they refused to help me. I truly believe they were 'kicking me down the road' so they could get the funds from the bank. The next day it rained, the windshield wiper sprayer was NOT working I look under the hood and saw the hoses to the windshield wiper spray were disconnected. I fixed that and then realize the cap was missing from where you put freon in. They left the cap OFF. I went back to the service dept. all I wanted was the cap to be put back on. A young man, Jacob, told me that they had fired a mechanic for doing shotty work. I'm thinking, first Dominic and now a mechanic in less than a week. Jacob went to speak with Nick in the used car depart. I was told to come back on Monday, that I would get a loaner and they would fix the problem. That, to me, seems really odd considering all I needed was for them to put on a $14 cap. I was taken advantage of because of my ignorance when it came to purchasing a vehicle. No one sat down with me to explain ANYTHING. I will never step foot on that lot again and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. read more

Bought new vehicles from Huffines Dodge and Bill Utter Ford recently so I can say this with conviction.... Regardless of the state of the vehicle market, customer service, support and general sales flexibility IS still in play. NOT at Bill Utter Ford however... Had I not been between a rock and hard place on sale, I would have bought somewhere, anywhere else. Sales started by the old bait & switch. Internet showed 2 cars available and we were there when doors opened. All the sudden, the one we came in for (which was $5000 less) wasn't there. Sales guy tells us some Bs story of why it was not available to us although the person we called earlier said it was there. Anyway, we start what would be normal negotiation on price. After 2 hours, manager Chase comes over and literally says "due to state of market, we don't have to move on price". At this point we had wasted so much time and just needed to get something moving. We buy the vehicle. No normal clean up. No normal delivery prep. Just "here ya go". The very next day, urgent errors pop up on the dash shutting down electronics, power windows and even the AC. Only 27 miles on it and this shit is happening. Internet search on errors say do not drive and take to service immediately. Now unusual events for the weekend, we take the car to Bill Utter Service before they open. At least 12 vehicles already in 2 lines. We had no choice but to wait and miss more work. Service manager said it would be 2 DAYS before they could even look at it. They had us by the balls again with a brand new car!!!! After MANY calls and threats, service magically calls us end of day and said they couldn't duplicate and come get it. No work performed. We lost 3 days and countless hours from work for service to do nothing!!!! No apologies. No explanation. Nothing. (BTW no callbacks that were promised from sales managers either throughout event) When the plates came in, sales guy told us to come up and he would put them on.... No biggie right?! Nope... when we arrived and asked for plates, the receptionist passively gave them to us with nothing said. We asked if they would put them on and she looked confused. She walked and asked some other guys and came back and said "go to Service". We did. We pulled up and 4 service managers were standing around gossiping. We sat there for at least 10mins looking at each other when they finally gave each other pats on the back and walked away to separate offices without so much as a hello. Finally went inside to have a slew of service managers standing there where one finally sent a kid out with a screwdriver to complete the simple request. Again, no apologies. Nothing. Never again! Be warned. These people do not appreciate your patronage and they absolutely suck at customer service and support. Do not buy here. read more

I bought a $32,000 used vehicle from this dealer that had a complete failure in the 4th month of ownership that was quoted $7,300 to repair. Used sales manager Ken spoke to me on the phone and stated that the manufacture should cover the cost being that their warranty was only 60 days from expiration. I pointed out that I bought the vehicle from them, not the manufacturer, and that my warranty with Bill Utter Ford was only 39 days past the 3-month warranty. Ken disagreed, seemingly holding the manufacturer to a higher standard than Bill Utter Ford holds itself. The next part is most concerning. Ken's recommendation was to buy a used replacement part and have a third party install the part so that I could get rid of the car. I questioned the morals of this option as it would only put someone else in the same situation I am in, to which Ken responded: "Maybe, maybe not". Anyone considering purchasing a used vehicle from Bill Utter Ford should consider my experience before doing so. read more

Phil Tysinger was my salesman and was awesome, he's been with the dealer 16 years. There was no pressure to buy the vehicle, he left me alone to inspect it as thoroughly as I wanted and answered any questions I had. They gave me a great trade in price, and had their vehicle listed at a fair price. Mike was the finance manager I worked with, and he's been doing this 30 years. Their experience shows. They treat you like a person here. Other dealers finance departments always want you to buy these extended warranties and are so dang pushy about it. Not here! Mike showed me what they had available, asked if I would be interested, I said no, and we moved on. The ENTIRE process including finance application, test drive and inspection, and all paperwork took 2.5 hours. Thank you very much Bill Utter Ford! Our Foolish Hooters Passport tour stop 7 and 8 was to Bill Utter Ford in Denton. They were promoting the Hooters passport with two stamps and they were giving away a truck to one lucky winner. As part of the promotion they offered an additional $500 off best price you could do in making a deal to buy a car. OK, the location looked new and had a great customer lobby, the receptionist that stamped our passports were very pretty and very nice. The Boom boy saw a red (see picture) Shelby Mustang in the lobby, he wanted it but was surprised when he saw the $54000 sticker price, DOH, the Batmobile was jealous. We did not buy a car today. I was certainly glad I stopped by; Adam had inspected the vehicles I was interested in prior to my visit, to ensure they were clean and in tip top shape before the test drive. their prices were more than fair, and also gave me a good amount for my trade. Family circumstances changed so I ended up not purchasing a vehicle; however Adam was never pushy, he offered for me to take a vehicle for the day to ensure the family did like it before any financial commitments. I brought my 2012 mustang in for a pcm ecu flash that they were over charging me for which was 300. for a 20 minute computer reprogram after several weeks they called me to say we did the flash but are having trouble getting the car to shift correctly so we will try other things in order to get it right . a month goes by and they said the tech says that it's the shifting solenoid and it will cost me 1000 dollars for replacement and I said how is it possible when I had no shifting problems it was just that I wanted my computer reprogramed cause there was a tuner installed and it's out of date and I didn't have a tuner so I needed it flashed anyway after the advisor insisted that I needed it so I agreed after another month goes by they tell me it's ready so I go and pay for the work done and as I go to drive off my car redlines and won't shift into the gears needed so I returned it and they have the balls to say oh the tech now recommended a new transmission and I was furious so they took it back in after I had a meltdown and after another month all they did was let it sit there and say well there's nothing else we can do you need another transmission and it's 5600 hundred dollars and I was pissed and I tried calling management there and I was blown off by them not even a call back to discuss what happened now I have a car I can't drive and lost 1043 dollars for work that was never done they will be hearing from my lawyers office for sure Bill Utter Ford has no concern for customers and take no responsibility for quality and will rob you of your money don't take your car there for services unless your okay with getting robbed and cheated never again will I trust Bill Utter they are dishonest and have no concerns about anyone read more

I contacted Bill Utter through their website and had a good experience up until the day I went to purchase the vehicle. When I went to purchase the vehicle, they tried to short me the $3,500 Ford rebate. I had already discussed and been promised a lower price with the internet sales manager and the price they showed me was exactly $3,500 higher than what I had agreed to. After going back and forth with their sales manager, they blamed it on a website error; in reality, the dealership was trying to pocket the $3,500 Ford rebate. Bill Utter also offered me much lower than the standard book value on my trade in. When I tried to negotiate, they budged very little and I left. I drove 30 minutes to another dealership and completed the process in less than 3 hours and got a lower price on the car and more for my trade in. Buyer beware. read more

The checked without running credit inquiries. So no impact to my credit scores. They discussed other add on options (extended warranties, gap, etc...) They were not pushy about it. We purchased a used vehicle in Jan of 2016 within the first month of having it, it was in service 2 times for a total of 28 day because of engine problems (car jerking to a stop multiple times while driving),and a check engine light. After being told the 2nd time that they had ran all the test they could do e repair for problem and reset the light they couldnt get it to replicate. 3days later check engine light came back on. I called and was told that since all test had been run there was nothing to worry about unless it mechanically acted up not to worry about the check engine light it was a dummy light. SO I TRUSTED THEM. Mind you i had the warranty they gave PLUS an extended warranty was purchased that would have covered engine issues. Any time there has been an issue it has been taken in and the check engine light has remained on and all maintance records have been maintained. fast forward to August of this year, a light comes on that says loss of engine power, i call and have the car towed to Service department. Long story short it needs a NEW ENGINE, and my extended warranty is expired by 600 miles. AND THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF THE FIRST TWO VISITS TO SERVICE FOR ENGINE PROBLEMS THAT THEY HAD THE CAR FOR A TOTAL OF ALMOST A MONTH....NO RECORDS AT ALL.... i had to provide those for them. The service director was completely clueless and made multiple statements, about what was wrong with the car and what all they had done when explaining to me that they couldnt help me but also couldnt explain why they had no record or 2 service visits that were for the engine problens . Basically i have been told that because the original problems happened last year (2 weeks after buying it) and 35,000 miles before now and their service department refused to keep it longer as we asked multiple times to figure out the problem and instead we were told "its a dummy light" they can be of no assistance to me because basically its not their problem. After reading other reviews i see now that lying , and shotty work, and not standing behind their work is not uncommon i am very dissapointed and would like to have this handled before further action is taken, I have left a message for the GM and am waiting for a call back, i fully expect that SOMEONE at this location will take a stand for whats right and back their actions up by coming up with a solution that does not cost a customer an additional 10k. read more

Sitting her trying to sleep a wrecker came to repo my crappy car. Still no tires just balloons and power steering pump still broke. No air or heat. Have chemo in morning but guess that is off. Really I think it is time to give up. Donna lied right to my face saying she would call if they were going to repo it. Never happened Can't trade it 6 dealers said it would be sold for junk. We dealt with the pre-owned department, not new car sales. 1) the car was not ready when we arrived and they had more than 2 hours to get it done. 2) we were told the vehicle was black NOT two-toned gold & black. That was a deal breaker for us. The sales guy made excuse after excuse after excuse on the vehicle. We met at the dealership and drove a combined 2 hours and 15 minutes to get there in the rain during rush hour. Them not having the vehicle ready (couldn't even find the keys) didn't set a good time for the meeting. Then after we expressed our disdain for the two-toned color the sales guy offered to replace all of the interior leather. Not once again did we say we didn't like the color of the leather. Then he kept saying that he would look for a black on black vehicle for us. That wasn't what we told him we wanted. We said NO TWO TONED. After dealing with him we had ZERO confidence that he could a simple task of finding us a vehicle that met our criteria. Not to mention this vehicle has been listed on their site for almost a week and no info or pics had been uploaded. They must not be in a hurry to sell vehicles. I had a great experience in the used-car section. After literally visiting what felt like 15 dealerships, I found the car of my dreams. I just had to have it. It was in my budget and it was "fully loaded" to my expectations. Having kids and all I loved the leather and I loved the captain chairs in the back. Roberto was never too pushy and I would have left if he had been. He was able to bring the car down about $2000 which I really appreciated. I bought a white Rx8 about a year ago from Bill utter ford. I had them send me detailed picture of the car before I bought it, I got the pictures and it was perfect!, I had the car shipped from Texas to Wisconsin. When the car was delivered to me I noticed it had a wing on the trunk and thought that was odd, because in the pictures they sent me the car had no wing. I thought it was no big deal, it looked nice. However now the paint has been chipping off underneath the wing, My husband took the wing off to inspect and there had been drill holes in the trunk lid to put the wing on and they used Phillips screws to attach it!! the wing was not put on correctly and I didnt even want the wing!. so now thanks to Bill Utter Ford I get to replace my trunk lid because its cheaper than having it re-painted. in order to repaint it they would have to weld closed those extra holes in the trunk. read more

No not a single star. I've purposely downloaded Yelp to warn others of their service department. I took my truck there for regular Works package. Change the oil, rotate the tires, and just make sure everything is alright. After a short while I'm approached by a service manager to be informed that my truck is past due on a transmission service and an EFI cleaning. I agreed to having these services done as I put my faith in the professionals in the service department to know what is best for my vehicle. I ask if it really needed the EFI cleaning as I use a fuel treatment product to do this. I was told that that stuff is junk and I should stop wasting my money on products like that. Well ok I want my truck to run at its peak for a long time. WRONG! After a little research while I waited many websites agree that the service I was sold on is not necessary if you treat your fuel regularly or use top tier fuel. Now I'm second guessing the transmission service. Now I'm going to Fords website because the manufacture has set a maintenance schedule that should be followed. After scrolling through many hundreds of PDF pages to find the schedule and discover that if I follow the service departments schedule I'll be performing this service 5 times before the manufacturers 1st recommendation. By now my truck should almost done. I try to ask why I was sold on things Ford isn't recommending for a very long way down the road? The answer, "with extended driving it should be done sooner". But Ford says it won't need done until.... Again I get "I wish I could throw that maintenance schedule away because Ford doesn't know what they are talking about". REALY???? You know better than a company that's been the best selling truck on the market for longer than you've been alive? OR you want to fill the coffers to increase your bonus this month? My advise, when the up-sale comes ask to see the recommended schedule, ask to see the damaged part or more importantly do your own research before letting them lighten your pocket for things you may not need. Get a second opinion. read more
