This is a great place to eat, I went in for breakfast and had the Spanish omlet with pancakes, and a coffee. The service was great and I will be returning in the future to have breakfast. If I had to sum up this breakfast place in one word it would be YUMMY! We went on a Saturday morning about 830am and only had to wait maybe 5 minutes. We were sat, coffee/drinks were served, order was taken and breakfast was all severed in 10-15 minutes! Our check was given to us shortly after, which was not every much for 2.5 of us (me, husband and baby) we did not feel rushed, and didn't have to wait around for out check when we were done eating. Driving through from Arizona. Yelp reviews were sketchy. We decided to try it. Way better than Denny's or village inn. The eggs, over medium, were perfect. The bacon I ordered extra crisp and it was. My breakfast came with four large slices of bacon. I had to give two to my husband. We shared hot cakes were fluffy and the syrup was heated. It tasted like butter pecan so I'm not sure if it's maple. We would definitely come back and do recommend. read more

Today was by far the WORST experience we've ever had at this restaurant. It's gone downhill lately but today was worse. I called in an order and when i arrived 20 min later they found the order on the pad sitting on the counter, it had never been turned in. They placed the order, charged me full price, a simple adjustment would have been nice, and I waited. The cooks and waitresses were screaming at each other about sides and what was "unacceptable" to them while i waited. They brought my food and I checked it, because there's always something missing, and i didn't have a burrito that we ordered. When i asked about it she says, "Isn't it in there?" to which i reply, "If it was would i be asking?" She looks and it was never keyed in!! They make it and again all i get is an "I'm sorry". I guess I missed something. The reviews of this place are all stellar, but I was less impressed. First, the service is pretty slow. The restaurant wasn't that busy, yet we waited for water. We waited for coffee. We waited for the check. We just waited a bit too long for everything. And while the pancakes were good, I'm really disappointed that I paid $8.00 for powdered eggs. Long story short, this place is over-priced for what you get. It's worth it if you're in the mood to spend too much money for food that isn't fresh. Our local breakfast favorite when we're too lazy to drive across town. Good green chile/breakfast burritos, like the choice of breakfast meats, and the potato varieties. We went to Billie's on 02/09/13. I read many negative reviews online but I chose it anyway since it was the halfway point for both families getting together that morning. The quality and quantity of the food was so much more than we expected with such resonable prices. As for the service, it was outstanding. Even though they were busy we were seated immediately and our order taken quickly. Diana was our waitress and OMG that woman should be the Waitress of the Century !! She took care of us like we were the only people there. Diana made us feel like family and there were hugs all around when we left. Billie's is an hour and a half drive from my home, but you can bet we will gladly make that trip many times in the future. read more

We have been to Billie's over the years and it seems to be in a decline. the place is dingy and dirty. We ordered what was called a tenderloin on the menu. We are from Iowa we know Tenderloin. We are not sure what this meat was but it sure was not a tenderloin, not even sure it was pork. I sort of looked like a chicken fried steak. Had lots and lots of grease and gristle. Will never go back. I believe a lot of the reviews are correct that if you are not a regular, you really get less service, Maybe the breakfasts are better but the lunch was horrid and the menu is misleading. read more

I love Billie's, but I'm not sure they love me back! My family and I have been going here since we moved to Brighton in 2008 and have Zero bad things to say about the food. ( I don't care to know her name but I will tell you, older lady, long greying hair with a lot of rings and jewelry on. I'm assuming she has something to do with ownership based on the crappy service ) The first time I was served by her, I wasn't happy about the service. ( Probably because I was not a regular, trust me its obvious ) So she received a smaller tip than my usual 20%. The next time we were seated in her section and got bad service again, and she received a bad tip again! I began to realize that I was trapped in this weird bad service, bad tip cycle! This was never officially cleared up but I refuse to sit in her section anymore and everything has been great since! This is a nice little home style diner. It isn't gourmet, but it is clean and comfortable. The food was good and the prices are right. I had an omelet and was very happy. Hubby had the hungry man skillet with 1/2 gravy and 1/2 green chili. He was very impressed, the portions were large, there was lots of meat. The only down side was the pancakes. We have eaten here quite a few times for breakfast. It has always been OK but nothing that I need to go there every week. I do receive their email coupons. The 50% off one meal is really the only reason we go to eat. We have always been able to use the coupon using the email from my phone (I never remember to print it out). We were informed the last time that she would not accept the coupon electronically because I could go home and print it off and use it again. Even though they have done it before she would not honor it. I believe it is time for them to move up to the age where people do not print off coupons and like to use electronic version. Seeing as I will forget to print off the coupon again that was probably our last time eating there. read more
