This was my first time trying this place out with my family for brunch. There's definitely a 30-40 min wait and there's SO many people waiting to eat here. I like how they divide a section where you can sit either in the inside or at the patio. This place is very chaotic and bustling. You can literally order anything you want from their massive menu. I got a few variety such as the Nutella French Toast. It was really good, but I got a sick of it a few bites in. Their California Omelette & Steak Ranchero Omelette were dry and have no flavor, so you have to season it with some salt/pepper/hot sauce. Hash brown were good. The crispy chicken sandwich bun was super thick & dry, and their fries were bland. This needed a pickle refresher or something to follow up with the burger. The soup I got to try tasted like a lemon-y chicken noodle soup, which was actually not that bad. As for their pomegranate mimosa, this was super good! For me personally, this is the type of food that I'd get sick of it just by looking at it. Every dish that came out was massive, so it's a definitely a place where you have to take home leftovers. I have always like Bills Cafe but today was a big disappointment. We ordered the fried chicken Benedict and country fried steak Fried Chicken Benedict. We also asked for the hash brown to be extra crispy- Fried chicken Benedict - both eggs and chicken were over cooked, hash brown was not crunchy/crispy. Update: I highly recommend the Chilaquiles Rojos--absolutely delicious! My wife is a big fan of the Tri-Tip Benedict, and we always finish things off with the cinnamon roll pancakes (a must-try). The service is consistently amazing, and they've recently updated the patio with pull-down sun shades, which makes for an even more comfortable and elevated dining experience. P.S. We go to Bill's for a good breakfast. Large servings. Recently I tried the mimosa. It was made with fresh squeezed juice. It was so yummy! I normally add my name to the wait list to avoid the 15-25 minutes wait time just to be seated. The last few times, they didn't check and refill our coffee. We were there for around 1.5 during lunch time waiting for the server to take our order then to bring out our food. I was so disappointed with my sandwich the last time. It was so sad. Came here for late breakfast after kiddos well baby checkup. Yolanda (Yolanda B) and her team took excellent care of us. I had the crab cakes Benedict and my husband had the chicken fried steak. These are excellent dishes we've gotten for years. They make a couple minor improvements/changes since we were last here but it didn't matter. The food was as delicious as always. Bill's is a small but very busy group of restaurants. The Santa Teresa (at Cottle and Great Oaks) is my favorite location. The sound isn't as loud so we can hear each other talk even when it's crazy busy. Parking lot is also safer than some others - no hassle. Usually enough parking. Very short walk if you need to park in the other area of the lot. Side note: I'm a lactating mom right now and Bill's and their clientele are always friendly to it.
