    Fajitas Omelette
    Janice H.

I love coming here for brunch! Their omelettes are hearty and delicious! Their drinks are great too and so festive. The restaurant is pretty big and also including a patio area to enjoy the sun. It's a great family restaurant. The service is great, the waitresses are very fast and make great recommendations.

WHY WE WENT HERE: - breakfast THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in Evergreen Village Square - this restaurant is the former Iguanas; iykyk - some outside seating available - street parking available THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - industrial; exposed ducting, shiny cement flooring - black tables and chairs throughout the restaurant; one open space THE MENU: - monthly specials - refreshments - wine, beer & cocktails - breakfast specialties - egg combo/scrambles - benedicts/omelettes - traditional breakfast sweets - breakfast sides - lunch (served all day) - kids menu WHAT WE ORDERED: - fajitas omelette with steak, home potatoes, and carrot bread - chicken apple sausage omelette with home potatoes and sourdough - hot tea - orange juice - super mimosa with mango - sangria mimosa THE TASTE: - meals were super good and filling - drinks were good! couldn't tell the difference though between the super mimosa with mango and the sangria mimosa CUSTOMER SERVICE: - when you enter, you wait to be greeted by an employee before choosing your respective seating - the day/time we went, there was 1 worker who greeted and seated, refiled drinks and 1 worker who took orders and brought the card reader for you to pay for your meal

(Evergreen village square,SJ)Food: Super Benedict with home potatoes (9.3/10) bread/bacon cooked well. Egg just melts on the dish when cut. Nice crisp on the surrounding layer of the potatoes Crab cakes with hash browns (9/10)- crake was flavorful. Not too crispy. Very delicious when you cut the egg with the crab cake soaking in the flavor. Higher quality cooked hash browns Chicken and waffles(9/10)- chicken is nice and crispy without it being too greasy/oily. Waffle is also delicious but not too out of the ordinary. It did went well with the syrup Strawberry milkshake (9.3/10)- very delicious and creamy. Can really taste the strawberry. I do appreciate that they give you the extra milkshake on another container instead of throwing it. Ambience: very family oriented restaurant. Has aesthetically pleasing chandelier, paintings, television, and vibrant yellow background Service: great service, staff were attentive, checking on all the customers. Food was delivered quickly without compromising quality. They were kind/fast when we needed something Price: Great price for the quality of food, service, ambiance Parking: side parking street and large parking lot behind the restaurant

Still a top brunch place of mine because of the hash brown Benedict. Sometimes can get TOO busy here. Took a while to sit down, order, and pay the bill because the servers are busy doing other things. No one came around to check on us or fill waters, until I had to flag staff down multiple times. Lots of tables but can be too crowded, almost right next to the next table to your sides.

I love coming here the food is always great and fresh. The service is always 10/10 even when they are super busy. The environment is great , I love coming here.

Overall the experience was good. Food was average, service was quick, ambience is outdated. The location is good for hanging out. We ordered Scarlett benedict, Chipotle shrimp tacos, orange juice. OJ was fresh and refreshing. Parking is plenty

Went here on a Sunday morning with a group of six people and got seated within ten minutes. Parking can be difficult to find, but there is a parking lot behind the building. I ordered a fresh orange juice, which is always a plus when a place has this, but it did taste a little watered down. There is only one bathroom for a restaurant like this, which was a big let down since there was many people waiting to use the restroom. Our Benedicts were good and the eggs were poached just right. We asked a waiter for a cup of fruit and she never bothered to bring it.

Dates: Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 - Brunch / Breakfast / Lunch Thursday, June 1st, 2023 - Breakfast Thursday, June 8th, 2023 - Breakfast Thursday, November 9th, 2023 - Breakfast *Crab Cake with Hollandaise Sauce: sub Fresh Fruit *Side Garden Salad *Joe's Scramble: Onions, spinach, ground beef and mushrooms, sub Fresh Fruit When stating in SJ, the bro in law will get breakfast before golfing. He's a sweetheart and always asks me if I want anything when he grabs food. He will go to Village Grill from time to time, so I've tried a couple thing from here. The above orders are from Aug 2022 and June 2023. When it comes to scrambles, Joe's is one of my favs. I adore mushrooms and spinach. This version had a good amount of beef and veggies. But it wish they had cooked the eggs a bit more first before adding all the ingredients. It ended up coating the everything instead, so I didn't really get any pieces of fluffy egg. The fruit salad and green salad were standard and tasty. I can't recall the crab cake dish, but judging from the pic, it was probably okay. Good place to grab breakfast in Evergreen. REVIEW #3526

Coffee (Lipstick stain on the cup)
    Rakshit P.

Went here for breakfast. The server showed us to our table and asked us if we need coffee. When I get the coffee, I notice a lipstick mark on the cup. I asked them to replace it and they did, along with an apology. However, I do see a couple other reviews mention similar occurrences before. So not sure why they are not being more cautious with the quality check. The food arrives. I got the Chicken apple sausage with eggs and hash brown. Wife gets the veggie omelette. She noticed the mushrooms in the omelette were almost raw. Overall the experience here was subpar. Came here because I wanted to give the local restaurant a shot.

This is one of my favorite local breakfast places. The food here is consistently good and I've never had anything here that I don't like. I especially always enjoy their home potatoes which are seasoned to perfection and have a very unique flavor to them that you just don't get at most breakfast places. The service is always usually good, even if it's busy. There's a nice little patio if you prefer to sit outside. Inside is cozy and Mediterranean themed with a bar if you come alone. Definitely recommend this place for a breakfast or brunch outing.

I've eaten here a lot over the years. I think they make sins things well and others less so. For instance, the breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, most breakfast foods, taco salad, burgers, stuff like that are all good. Done bet on something like steak. Portion size is above average. Service is ok. Cool and quaint location around Evergreen Village Square.

Después de 6 personas tiene un extra?

    Yes

    Do they accept Apple Pay?

Yes, they do accept Apple Pay; however, the system has been down before, and I needed to use another form of payment. But, I would imagine that issue doesn't occur all the time and/or that they've fixed that issue by now.

Do they take reservations for larger parties? This is my wife's favorite brunch spot, and I'd like to have her bday brunch here.

Call the restaurant. They might. I have seen large parties.

Is the patio pet friendly and is their heating outside?

Yes it’s pet friendly but for the moment their is no heating outside . Sorry

They had some Fanime specials for the con (katsu and egg salad sandwiches, spam musubi), seasonal drinks, of course coffees and teas, and non caffeinated drinks, as well as some food too (heated up pastries, both sweet and savory). There's a restroom with a code and a couple seats and tables with outlets to charge your devices. Service was welcoming and efficient especially after the crowds started to pick up. I got the: 1) Egg Salad Sando: -You can tell these were handmade in store. They had cute washi tape to hold the packaging together. -Solid egg salad sandwich. Slightly sweet white bread and generous amount of egg salad inside the sandwich. Creamy mayo taste that isn't too sour or tart, lots of egg in it. Perfect for an anime con next door. 2) Cappuccino: -I got this no sugar and sugar free and it came out with some pretty latte art. I thought it was mostly ok and boyfriend thought so too, but after several sips and when it was too late since we really had to get to the con, it just became too disgustingly sweet for him and he had to throw it away. 3) Yuzu Fresh Fruit Sparkler: -Yuzu puree with sparkling soda water. -Refreshing and not bad, but even after mixing this was a bit sweeter than what I would have liked and again, in our rush to leave, we couldn't really get this adjusted. I ended up pouring most of it in a water bottle to enjoy later and put in my bag. But ended up not finishing it in the end. Maybe next year I'll try again or just stick to the food stuffs.

When walking, we missed the restaurant initially because this place is clearly, a hidden gem, especially being hidden along the nightclub strip. We were blown away by the curated vibes. From the thoughtful decor to The Office being projected on the wall. It felt hip, fresh and refined. We decided to craft our own drinks - Arnold Palmers, his favorite. But they only had sparkling lemonade, which actually made it even better. We shared a salad that had some cooked pears and squash alongside the greens, walnuts, cranberries and blue cheese. I do feel like the cooked sweet elements overpowered the salad with their sweetness and textures a bit. Wondering if a refreshing pear for crunch or more dressing could have brightened it up and provided a salty, sweet balance. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)
