Where to start? Bought a new Tiguan from VW in Burlington and it was sent here for paint protection film (ppf). They did not wrap corners, cut out carrot shape "v" in edges, and it was yellowing within 6 weeks of application. I asked for a refund, which they said they mailed to my home. A week later I had not received it and was told it's at VW waiting for me. The most unprofessional and unskilled labor I have had to deal with in a long time. If you buy from VW take on own. They clearly don't care who does after market work for them. read more

Carl from RPM came to me and told me they would give me the best install ever! I had 11 vehicles I needed light bars installed. My preferred installers were backed up. Between my preferred installers it ranges between $1,100 and $1,600 for a light bar installation. Carl then calls me to tell them it's taken 26 hours of labor for them to work out the Light Bar installation. They then want to charge me $1800 to $2200 to do a light bar installation. We will not be using RPM in the future and will be going with a Sound Off Signal Certified shop! I should have listened to the 1 star reviews! read more

I'm a fan of the Weathertech floormats for my cars. They fit well, protect my carpet, and clean up easily, and they are made right here in the USA. . RPM Performance has a huge selection of the Weathertech mats, but they didn't have the mats I needed in stock, so they special ordered them for me, no extra charge, and they came in the next day. RPM Performance also carries a huge selection of goodies for just about any car, and I have been curious about those car topper tents, so I may have to go back and look into those. I had my car rear bumper and trunk damage fixed by RPM. I want to say first that the work they did on the car looks amazing, basically brand new again and they even went above and beyond to help fix two small chips that was starting to rust on the trunk. One trouble i encountered was when my car was finished, I had the manager Scott call me and say that the car wasn't starting and the battery was completely dead and even with them charging it overnight it was still not charging. After hearing that I was very upset and ask them what my options are because it went for a rear bumper repair and now they are saying the car isn't even running! They told me to order a battery from ORIELLYS have them deliver it and RPM would install for free. After doing so i arrived at RPM and The manager Rich explained to me that they and Scott felt so awful for the situation that happened and they went ahead and paid for a new battery from the actual dealership to be installed and to go ahead and return the battery i purchased and get my money back. After a horrible morning stressing about my car running, it was nice for them to have the open heart to help purchase and install a new battery. read more

During a worldwide pandemic, in a state where masks are mandated by the Governor of the State of Washington, if you are going to have someone manning your front sales counter, NOT wearing a mask, then you should have that person greet a customer as such: Hi, my name is Bob and I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. If you, as a paying customer, would rather I find another associate to help you that does where a mask, I'm happy to do that, if it would make you feel more comfortable. THIS didn't happen today. The young man never introduced himself. Never explained (until I asked) why he wasn't wearing a mask, even tho ON THE VERY SALES COUNTER he was behind there was a sign taped telling me about the state mandated mask requirements. Everyone else in the large showroom was wearing a mask. I was wearing a mask. Left the building. Called the owner. No apologies. No, 'let me make this right'. A lot of blah blah blah bullshit. I am sad I have to give this one-star review, as the 1st project went so well... Sadly the 1st time is the charm. I had some mods done on my car, a light bar added, some tint, etc. The job was done well and I was impressed. This was back in August 2018. Since then I have been trying to get more work done at RPM. Started with their GM Robert Shepler. I can't tell you how many times I had to reach out just for him to apologize and say "he's busy" and will get back to me tomorrow, later in the week, next week, in a couple of days. I gave up for a while, reached out again, he apologized and handed me over to Brad Huett, who does not give a single crap about replying to emails or doing any work at all. I just wanted to have some suspension work done, sway bars, new wheels, etc... Quote from his (Robert's) email --- "I apologize but definitely dropped the ball on this.  I have a team member Brad that can help with any of the wheel/tire/suspension needs you have.  I have cc'd him on this email, so that maybe the two of you can work together to get that issue resolved if it isn't too late.  Brad, will give you a good deal for my lack of timely response." --- Nope, massive fail from Brad and Robert! Back to the review! I had to reach out to 3rd party vendors to find the parts because Brad just did not follow up or do any leg work. Even after I found the parts he kept ignoring me. I have 11 emails from him promising he will get back to me, the last time promising an answer no later than May 6th. Today is May 21st and not a single email. They just don't care. Maybe if you're spending $5K on a project, they will reply to you, but if you're spending around $1500 or $2K you mean nothing to them. That says everyone means nothing to them, only what's in their wallet matters. My level of disappointment can't be measured, and I know I can never trust Robert or Brad again as their word has no value. They're horrible representations of the ownership and they should be ashamed of the way they treat existing and repeat customers. I suggest of you have an alternative shop other than RPM Performance, you go that direction. You've been warned! read more

My husband had a leveling kit installed about a year ago. A few months ago we heard some creaking noise on the front right strut so we took it in to get looked at. They told us they took it apart and cleaned it but everything looked fine- that it was just "sediment" and that they would need to re tighten everything. Fast forward to today, after we moved out of the area, we had the same issue happen so we took it to a local shop. We found out that RPM over torqued the bolt and it completely blew out the bushings and stripped the bolt to the strut. So now we have to spend $800 for a new strut due to negligence. I do not recommend this shop. read more

RPM recently repaired my Mercedes due to a collision. Robby was good about communicating what was happening with the car and the repairs, and working with my insurance. I picked up the car and it looked awesome. They even touched up places on the front of the car where there were rock chips in the paint for no charge! This review is for the body shop...I was recommended to go here by my boyfriend. He had a completely different experience than I had. My car was at rpm for over 5 weeks. Rpm didn't communicate with me at all. I had to call them every single time to check on the status of my car. For example, three weeks of my car being there, they claimed they were still waiting on the insurance adjuster and NOTHING had been done besides disassembling it, parts weren't even ordered. After the insurance company came out, the told me they would call me when they got all the parts in to give me an estimate when my car would be done. Didn't receive a call from them, but did receive a call from the insurance company saying they were trying to get ahold of rpm to find out when they were going to be done, otherwise they were going to end my rental car that day. rpm finally gave me a date as to when my car would be done. Well that date came, and an hour before they close I had yet to receive a call from them. Called them and it would be another two days... finally after 5 weeks I got my car back. Here I am, over TWO MONTHS later still waiting on a part that was "back ordered" I called them the morning of March 12 about this part and Rob told me he would get back to me. After almost two full business days, I have yet to hear from him. This entire time I have been dealing with Rob. It is upsetting that the manager has this poor of communication with customers. + when I stopped by and they showed me my car disassembled, I also asked for a quote to paint the roof rails. Robert told me he would get back to me. I never heard another word about is so I gave up... could have been more money in their pocket. read more

The service I recently was given to modify my trailer hitch so that my bike rack would be secure was fantastic. Several guys at RPM tried to solve the problem my car dealership, who installed the hitch, blew off. Bill very generously took the time to ponder possibilities and came up with a solution that was convenient, inexpensive and provided the exact fix I needed. Horrible service/ people skills! I had some cab lights installed on my truck, I wanted them specifically ran to my auxiliary switch so I'm able to turn them on and off. They ran them to my running lights, and since they are white led I constantly get pulled over since they are always on when I need my headlights. I went back and told them they what's wrong and what I wanted changed. They said that's how they do things, and wanted to charge me and extra $300 to do it how I originally wanted. I found that car stereo plus would do it for $120 and it wasn't even their problem to fix. I will never have RPM do anything to my truck again in the future. Its the worst shop around there body shop sucks they cut all the corners they can and theres alway dirt and other stuff in there paint and they cant ever get the color match right robert and rich should not be tunning that place they do not know how to treat there customers robert should be a salesman not a manager and rich just needs to find a job he actually know how to do with them running that place they are going to run it into the ground there worthless and love to rip people off i suggest stayin as far away as u can from rpm performance theres plenty of other shops out there that will do the job the right way and better STAY AWAY THEY SUCK AT PAINT AND AUTOBODY I KNOW FROM experience read more

Well they Did a wonderful job repairing my Leaf that had almost 10 thousand dollars in body damage from a accident on the freeway when a driver lost control and destroyed the whole passenger side of my Nissan leaf .. it looks great drives great and all in all it was a good experience.
