I had a great meal, Greek burger with a side of fries and gravy. Melt in your mouth kind of great! I was so disappointed with the service. When I walked in the waitress looked at me and didn't say anything, so I said "table for one" and she said "you can sit there" and gestured to the table I was standing besides. If this is a type of place that seats yourself, there should be a clear sign saying so. I sat down and she got me a menu. She came back with my drink and I told her I know what I want and she held up a finger for me to wait and said it'll be a few minutes. There was one other group there with me and maybe a couple other tables already sat. If the waitress can't handle the amount of tables there, please hire more staff. She took my order without asking how I wanted my burger done but it didn't take too long for my food, maybe ten minutes. She handed it to me with no napkins (burger and fries is a messy meal) and no Greek sauce to go with the Greek burger. She got me them when I asked. The dirty bathroom with no paper towels was a cherry on top of disappointing service. The food was amazing but the service and environment didn't match it. My suggestions: a sign that says "please seat yourself", more staff or training of current staff and more upkeep on customer spaces read more

Had to run an errand in Newfane. So afterwards we were looking for a breakfast spot. We were warmly greeted by the wait staff and were surprised by how much seating they had because it appears small from the outside. Very clean diner with delicious coffee and breakfast served all day. We enjoyed the Belgian waffle and Greek omelet. Planning to return soon to try the Friday Fish Fry. read more

I stopped up here yesterday morning to have some breakfast with my boyfriend. This place had a huge two-page menu. I had coffee and I think he had water. The service was great!!! The restaurant is cozy but nice. I had ordered Belgian waffles. I added on a side of hash browns and cinnamon toast. Everything was great! My boyfriend had biscuits and gravy. He enjoyed his meal too. This diner accepts cash and cards. This restaurant is up in Newfane. If I'm ever up this way again, or I have the morning free, I'll definitely be back! read more

As great now as it was three years ago. When we get breakfast, my egg over easy is always just right. I love their hash browns. We order them crispy. My sons love their chocolate chip pancakes any time of day. They make them Mickey mouse style. This is the best place to get the fish fry. I always get it when it's the special, and it's always perfect. Thick and fluffy. Never dry. Love the New England clam chowder as well. Very rich and creamy. Service is friendly. read more

We noticed the place when we walked past it during a car show on the street. We first stopped at Gordy Harpers but they don't serve breakfast, anymore or would have eaten there. Bill's Diner is an "okay" local option for breakfast. Service is typically speedy, waitresses are friendly, food is okay, and coffee is good. Costs are fair, if not slightly cheaper than others, but the location is what I would call a dive. We dined here this past weekend and ordered breakfast. The booth we sat in had greasy handprints on the leather seat, probably from a young child eating before us, and the booth seat had slid out a bit far from the table for my preference. It was a little too heavy to slide it back in myself, so I sat back a little far from the table. Menu selection is okay, but nothing super special to get excited about. They offer daily specials as well. Good option for a quick bite (we were in & out in about 40 mins). If half stars were an option, I would rank this a 2.5 star mostly because it just doesn't feel very clean whenever I'm there and food is just okay. read more

Stopped in after a Sunday drive looking for a late breakfast at noon. Noticed they have all day breakfast which is nice. Busy little spot and waitresses were hustling and quick to sit and serve. Typical diner food on menu with lots of options. I had the 3 egg omelette and my partner had the eggs benedict. Breakfast arrived quick but was just ok. My toast was kinda burnt and was disappointed with the processed kraft cheese slices as the cheese on my omelette and the canned mushrooms. Eggs benedict were very good and cooked perfect. If this is the best this town has to offer, you should pass right through. Service was fast, but not friendly or accurate. The food is greasy and all tastes "off". They must make fish here, you can taste it in everything. Our food was dropped off, the waitress never swung back by to see if we needed anything, if it was correct or if anything tasted ok. Good luck getting your check! Or getting the waitress to check you out! Don't stop here for a restroom either. It's unkept and unfinished. I don't like sitting on a toilet staring at a door that has no knob wondering if there's a camera...or if a mouse will come through the huge gap underneath it. If you're starving, stop. Bill's is just your small town diner. It is inexpensive, and good food. A personal favorite is the Monte Cristo. With cheese, ham, and turkey on toasted bread, it is filling and savory. The waitresses are probably the most friendly i have ever been served by. They are absolutey great. If you're in the area, Bill's is a nice place to stop and grab a quick bite. read more

Things have went from Good to not so good..we were regulars since moving to the area in October..here lately things have went downhill food wise and uphill price wise yet no changes to the menu ..last few times we have been in the food has been really nasty ..and when you mention it to the staff they do nothing to make it right...Just hand you the check...tonight both my husband and myself decided to take a break from Bill's ..we will try them again in about 6 months to see if they have gotten their act together or not...When you charge prices similar to Olive Garden or Red Lobster and serve something that is swimming in grease and you need a chain saw to cut into it..it's time to find another place to dine... read more

This is the standard for all small town diners. Nothing out of the ordinary here, but good solid food, well made, served by friendly and efficient staff. My wife and I eat here often, preferring it over other perhaps higher profile places nearby. Great diner. read more

Food was good but the waitress didn't want to be bothered with us. It was recommended to us by a local businessman. The blonde waitress took our order, didn't tell us anything about the specials and seemed uncaring. Brought our food and the check, never came back to as if we wanted anything else.
