I have SOOOO many great things to say about Bill's Mutt House! But let me start with this, I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for all your boarding & daycare needs! If I could give a review for Bill's Mutt House I would in a heartbeat! A little bit about us: we have 3 pups we adopted from a rescue almost 2 years ago, 2 littles and their mom. When we adopted them they all had some form of past trauma, but even with the challenges our pups have, I can confidently say that all the employees who work here are AMAZING with ALL dogs, even ones who need a little more TLC like ours! Our pups have never been boarded or to doggie daycare before, so naturally we were nervous about how they would do at first, but after the initial meet and greet all our worries were gone we could see right away that this place and all the people here are amazing with dogs and passionate about their work. Jonathan was the first employee we met at the meet and greet, he made the initial process easy and seamless. I really appreciate all the time he spent explaining everything in detail, answering all our questions, and bringing other dogs out slowly to get our pups adjusted and see how they did. Jonathan also gave us a tour of the yards and facility, so we got to see the kennel our pups would stay in and feel how great their AC is (which in AZ good AC for fur babies is a must have!) We knew when our nervous reserved boy Apollo attached to Jonathan right away that this was the perfect place with the perfect people While our pups were there, the employees even worked with all 3 of them on leash training and got our boy Apollo a LOT more comfortable on a leash! I was worried Apollo might not be able to work past his trauma with leashes, but having the amazing people at Bills work with him during his stay has helped him improve drastically. The rotation system they use is also wonderful, they put pups in groups that do well together to ensure all the dogs are in a group that fits their individual needs and comfort level (because like us humans, not all dogs get along with eachother ). They rotate the groups outside constantly throughout the day, so every pup gets lots of time outside in the yard to play and socialize. They made sure to put our pups with a calm group so they could ease into this new experience. Another thing I liked is that they post videos on their Instagram several times a day, so while we were out of town we were able to see our babies while they were in the yard playing and socializing I love the fact that we were able to have all 3 of our pups in the same kennel during their stay, so they could sleep together and be more comfortable. They have a wide variety of kennel sizes and can have your pups stay together or separate, depending on what they need and their size. I also really appreciate how transparent they are about their pricing, it was very reasonable and fair, plus there were no hidden fees/costs or anything that suddenly changed at pick up. It was all laid out and explained thoroughly during the meet and greet, and since we were able to have all 3 of our pups in the same kennel we were able to save a little on the daily rate! The wide range of pick up/drop off time is very convenient too. You can drop off and pick up anytime between 7AM - 9PM, which made planning our weekend trip sooooo much easier! Overall we are 1 million % happy with our experience at Bill's Mutt House! It's puppy paradise If you're on the fence about where to go and took the time to read my novel then look no further! I can confidently say beyond a shadow of a doubt that this place is the BEST place for all doggie boarding and daycare needs. Bill's Mutt House gets a well-deserved 5 stars from us. We were nervous about bringing our 13-year-old puggle, Nelson, to an overnight kennel--he's older, set in his routines, and we just wanted to be sure he'd be comfortable and cared for. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Drop-off was easy, the staff was friendly and reassuring, and it was clear they genuinely care about the dogs. Nelson did great overnight and came home happy and relaxed, which was exactly what we were hoping for. My dogs ended up "flunking" out of the meet and greet, so they didn't get to stay for either daycare or boarding. That being said, the staff and owner were amazing during the meet and greet. When my dogs and I arrived, we met Lana (the manager) outside. Entering the area requires stepping into an outside pen (see picture), a secondary pen on the inside, and that opens into the yard, similar to entry at a dog park. Once we were inside, my two dogs roamed the area freely as Lana asked me questions about my dogs' histories, behaviors, and personalities. My girl was rescued off the treats when she was about 6months old. We suspect she was abused before she was picked up by the shelter because she does not like anyone outside of the three people she lives with. We've had success boarding her and her brother when we lived in Washington, but we are always worried about how she will react. Lana and her employees were calm and respectful to both me and my dogs. They were introduced to other dogs one at a time, and the staff handled the situation like pros. They used water sprays to correct the dogs' behaviors, and they used long PVC poles (~8-10 ft) in more charged situations to scare and break up the dogs if they started fighting. When it became clear that my dogs would fail the meet and greet, Lana called the owner over to assess my dogs. Bill was awesome with the dogs! Did my girl like him? No, but she seemed to be calmer around him than with other new people, especially men. Bill and Lana had me step into their kennel area while they worked with my dogs since my girl guards me. I was able to watch from cameras inside the kennel as they worked with my dogs in separate pens and introduced them to additional dogs. In the end, it didn't work out for us, but not for lack of trying, which I feel speaks volumes about Lana and Bill. I wish that it had worked out for us, but even though it didn't, I would recommend Bill's Mutt House to anyone looking for a doggy daycare or boarding! read more

Just picked up my boys after a 3 night 4 day stay. They've only stayed 2 other separate overnights. We missed them terribly and were very sad to only see them in one very short video a day. So that is my biggest complaint that there are not more pix or videos posted throughout the day....since they don't have live feeds around the premise. AND....the videos definitely need to move slower; they go so fast. Boys definitely needed a bath after pickup. EVERYONE has ALWAYS been super nice and attentive. Great prices. Pups do seem happy and exhausted when coming home. Can't wait for them to build their bigger and better building onsite! read more

My husband I were in Queen Creek visiting family for Thanksgiving. Bill scheduled a "Meet & Greet" with us and our dogs a few days before dropping them off. I have seen MANY doggie daycares and this place is by far the most professional, clean, organized, well run and safest I've ever seen! Bill told us the schedule for the day, explained the behavior he expects while the dogs are there and talked through all the ways he keeps the business clean and fun for the dogs. I got my dog, Jolene, from the rescue associated with Bill's (Jesse's) back in December. I boarded her for a week while I was on vacation. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to describe Bills Mutthouse. Bill does nothing short of putting the dogs first. I take all 4 of my dogs there for daycare and short term boarding. My dogs are my kids and have tried other facilities and not impressed. The pups always have someone with them. I had a very impressive meet and great session with Bill, and and he examined closely their behavior and slowly introduced 1 dog at a time to see of we were a good match. Bill's Mutt House has been great for my little fur baby. Having her go to Bill's gives her that social time with other pups within a trusted environment. I have nothing but great things to say about Bill and the care he takes with the dogs. My little one is always so excited when it's time to go to "Disneyland" (this is what I call his place). When I pick her up and we get home, she just curls up on the floor all tucked out. (this tells me she got some good play time in while at Bills). Interaction with Bill has always been pleasant. He seems very passionate with the dogs and willing to help you out in your time of need. Unlike other places I have used in the past, Bill is very accommodating. I have had emergency situations occur and called Bill on short notice (same day at times) to dropping my pup off. I have yet to be told by Bill that he wasn't able to help and take her in. read more

I have been taking my dogs to Bill's MuttHouse for a couple of years now and I couldn't be happier with the staff, owner and care my dogs receive each time they go. Bill knows how to handle each dog and passes that knowledge onto his staff. Both of our dogs are rescues and Bruno, our German Shepard mix was abused by his previous owners so he is doesn't trust strangers.
