Have been taking my 2.5 yr old Border Collie here for almost two years and now my 9 month old Border Collie as well. We do daycare on occasion but mainly go here for boarding. We board on average for 2-3 nights. They love it! The staff is always friendly and quick to check-in and check-out my pups. They are both exhausted for a good 24 hours after being picked up. We have had the bath option once or twice before pick up and pups are always fresh, dry, and ready to roll. It's been so great to have a safe and fun place for our pups while we need to travel! Most recently, I was hospitalized and Chandler 24/7 staff were amazing, by caring for her for one week. I had my partner, bring her to them. We have taken our dogs to this location for almost a decade and have spent thousands of dollars here between daycare and boarding over the years. The staff always provided amazing customer service and care. We recently started unlimited daycare with our new puppy at $650 per month. The first time we were ever late (by 15 min) for pick up the new staff member charged us $40. We requested a courtesy refund given this was the first time in all these years. They refused! If I could give a negative rating I would. I took my dog here for a couple months on and off. The establishment at first seemed great. However something disturbing happened not only once but twice. My dog was sent home with extreme vomitting and diarrhea, she was throwing up over 10 times in the span of 20 minutes. Non controllable diarrhea. We rushed her to the emergency vet, and the emergency vet had no idea what wrong with her. Saying it has to be something going on daycare causing this. It happened twice and has cost me well over $1000 in emergency veterinary care. Still to have no answers from the daycare or the vet as to why this is happening. I've since changed daycares and she hasn't had a single instance like this. Additionally, I called to try to find out what happened during her daycare visit and was met with a very unfriendly employee who told "they don't know anything and just work night shift". All I asked from the daycare was a refund on the package I had purchased because I no longer feel safe bringing my dog to their care ever again. However they are saying even thought all this happened while she was in their care there's nothing they can do and it's their policy to not give refunds. You think the LEAST they could do is refund the $300 for the daycare days when I certainty spent well over $1000 in veterinary care. Never got any type of report card or report on how she would during the day or anything ever. This place just wants to take as many dogs as they can in their care, and don't care if it puts the dogs at risk. Never ever take your dog get if you care about your dog. read more

I can only give them 1 star because after 7 days of staying with them, I picked my dog up and didn't even seem the same at all. I saw why within 12 hours when he had explosive diarrhea. I just got the vets call back and he has giardia. He has been vomiting and he had the random scratches too on his elbows. I know what the calluses are supposed to look like when laying on hard floors and this wasn't it. And I still want to really like this place because my Max needs to be uncaged so I was hoping to be able to have a place to bring him every week. But I have to do enough to keep his valley fever at bay... I don't need to worry about this other stuff. This really bums me out to write this, but I also need to let others know what I've encountered. This is a truly unfortunate occurrence that has caused me and my family great anguish. My dog was sent to board with Chandler Dogs and has been boarded there before without many worries. She was there for four days and when she was given back to me there was no talk of her being sick, seeing that it was past midnight and I had just driven six hours I didn't notice the telltale signs until the next morning. I called them that very morning to let them know she likely had double pink eye and to check the other dogs so no one else got sick. I was told immediately that none of the other dogs were sick. After taking her to the vet later in the week it was confirmed that she not only had double pink eye but also kennel cough, they said had she not been vaccinated she would have been much much worse. I asked my mother to call Chandler Dogs as I was quite angry and didn't want to be rude to them. My mother called them, explained to them that we are now out over $400 because of them and they said they'd "get back to us". That was June 17th - they never called us back. My dog was boarded June 9th-June 12th. I don't expect them to know everything about every dog but it was blatantly obvious that mine was ill. She was hacking and had green goo coming out of her eyes. This could not have happened anywhere else as we do not go to parks and haven't gone on many walks since it's so hot. We also don't see other dogs on our walks or if we do we cross the street more so to avoid my getting ill than her in these times. I am so incredibly disappointed in Chandler Dogs and do not feel safe bringing her back there. These are both very communicable diseases, and I am so lucky that she is okay now. She just recently finished her antibiotics and steroids and is doing much better but none of this should have happened in the first place. I will never be bringing her back, nor will I be recommending Chandler Dogs anymore. I really do hope they can be better in the future but their lack of accountability is so disappointing. read more

My little Cali came in Saturday morning for a 4 hour meet and greet. We've been looking for somewhere to take her to get her socialized after receiving all her shots. I decided to reach out to Chandler Dogs 24/7 after reading that they dont put pets in cages, I wpoke to Doug & he was so helpful getting my appointment made. After dropping her off, i was scared! Not gonna lie, my puppy is small & timid & has only warmed up to our Rottweiler so picturing her around other dogs fending for herself was scary to me. 4 hours later & we were there on the DOT, Hannah was awesome! She was sitting at the front and told us all about Calis morning, she even took her cell phone out to show me a video of my Cali girl and the rest of the dogs interacting. THAT IS SERVICE! Although my puppy is still fairly shy, she walked out of there looking alittle more confident & had a pep in her step. That pep didnt last long, she passed out as soon as we got home lol. Very dissatisfied and disappointed on the level of customer service. We brought our dog here about 4 or 5 times and 2 of those times we requested nail trimming or grooming and they forgot both times so by the time we went to pick her up we had to wait both times. The last time the groomer wasn't even available so they didn't express her anal glands or clean her ears AND she was wet when we got her back. She has been there about 10 hours so they had plenty of time they just neglected to put it in the system when we dropped her off. Also, I brought in homemade dog treats sealed in a package and asked them to her give her some throughout the day they said they would. When we were leaving I asked if they'd given her the treats and if there were any left. They said they offered them but she didn't take them ( That was a lie!) AND they threw them away!! What gives them the right to throw away the treats that I took time to make?? My dog always takes her treats she's NEVER turned down a treat and when we got home she went right to her food like she'd been starved all day. I called the previous night also to make sure she could be placed in a kennel for a short time to get some rest from the other dogs since she was there for a while. The guy told me yes, they could do it but was a different story when I dropped her off. Lots of inconsistencies with this staff and a couple of the girls I dealt with were rude. Instead of apologizing we heard excuses why the grooming hasn't been done. (Shift changes ect..due to it being a 24 hour facility) if they can't handle simple grooming requests then maybe they shouldn't offer grooming or have a 24 hour facility. read more

My dog is a family member to me (like yours is to you) so it's important to me that he's has the best care. There is a human being with the dogs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and every employee is trained to identify pre-incident indicators in order to avert any issues that could arise. Where to start with Chandler Dogs 24/7...we came across this place due to their cage free advertising and we had just moved into the chandler area. This place deserves one star for its convenience as you can drop and pick your dog up at any time...though I must say I hesitated on giving it even that. We have boarded our frenchie at this location a total a three times before we were done. On the first visit, the receptionist staff was friendly and welcomed our dog. Upon picking him up from our first visit, we requested a bath for him and when we arrived he was soaking wet. The bath was questionable as he did not appear to be too clean. We requested information on how he did and they provided us one picture with minor details. All was good with this visit regardless. He was happy and tired when he came home which was enough for us! The second visit we boarded our dog for a weekend. When we returned to pick him up he did not look healthy at all. Our white frenchie had permanent tear stains on his face from eye drainage that was not cleaned up for days. He was very lethargic (but not in a good way) and appeared to be sick. When asked about his stay we were told they would "email us the details". We did not receive the email and when we called to ask about it they resent us the same email from the first stay. When this was brought up, we were told they did not have information on how he did. We thought that maybe they were just at capacity for the weekend which is why our frenchie received very minimal care and let it go. The last time we boarded our dog at this facility it was for an overnight stay. We didn't think anything of it, he was just staying for a night and we thought it would be okay. I left them with allergy medicine to give him to help avoid the staining. Upon picking him up the next day they brought him out and when I asked questions about his stay they provided very little information. I noticed yet again his tear stains had worsened and thought to myself that I would have to try and remove the permanent staining again...our white frenchie was starting to look like A clown. No allergy medicine was administered as I requested. The lady at the front desk causally mentioned on our way out that she did notice he has something they called a "hot spot" on him. With her matter of fact attitude I thought very little of it until she showed it to me. Our frenchie had a huge blister that had scabbed over on the under side of his face. I was shocked at how bad this was. When asked what they did to help him the lady responded, "we sprayed it" with some solution. She was not concerned about the well-being of our dog at all and even decided to give me some advice that "his folds need to be wiped consistently". With this I was livid and left. We took our dog to the vet the next morning as everything was closed when we picked him up. Our little nugget ended up with the cone of shame, antibiotic cream to apply and a vet bill worth over $188.60. Of course this did not include what we paid for his boarding. I posted pictures below of the damage to our dog. It goes without saying we will not be returning as there will be nothing left of our dog. If you are looking for convenience and a cage free environment this is the place for you if you dog is healthy and has no medical conditions. Unfortunately this may result in the boarding charges plus medical bills and newly developing conditions you did not account for as they have no limit to how many dogs they take and as long as the dogs aren't killing each other they are left to their own devices. read more

Our dog has been coming here for 2 years and seems to enjoy it. We do the monthly unlimited and have boarded her as well. The staff is friendly and attentive, and seem to know every dog by name. I like the idea of cafe free. They separate dogs based on size and activity level so while my dog would appear to be better suited w/small dogs, she is often times put in w/the big dogs bc they are more active. To me, that shows they pay attention to the needs of the dog, a very good thing. The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5...They don't have video cameras in the rooms. I brought my small dog here a couple times... Had a hard time getting a tour of facility to see where my dog would be playing due how busy the staff said it was in the back. When I did get the tour, it was just a walk down a hallway, rooms to both sides with windows you can see in. I personally wasn't terribly impressed with what I saw, lots of dogs, 1 human in the room room it looked like. When I asked about cameras, I was told they don't have any due to employing minors. Each time I took my dog, he shook going inside, came back needing a bath due to the smell on his fur, and downing a bowl of water as soon as we got in the car. (Is there no water bowls in the play areas?) The last time I picked him up, I could hear him howling in the back... that howl that screams "I've been left alone!" (We all know that howl.. it's why we take our dogs to daycare, right?) I didn't bother asking why he was left alone as I didn't want to be lied to/given an excuse/etc. I had high hopes for this 24hour daycare..but y'all really missed the mark. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I would take my dog to daycare 2-3 times per week until I picked him up and his ears were cut and there were chunks of hair missing from his back. I sent in pictures and called and they SWEAR that nothing happened to my dog. I did not send him to daycare like that. Ever since that day, I never took him back and now is he SOOO scared of males. He hides and runs to his crate anytime a male is in the room which he was never like that before. Which I find odd considering it's mostly males that work there and this all happened after his hair was cut. This place is awful!!! I would never trust them with my dog again. Well I hate writing negative reviews but this company is not a 4 star and I believe yelpers should be aware of customers' experiences good or bad so they can make an informed decision about bringing their pet here. I purchased a groupon for $25 for $50 worth of services a few weeks ago and tried to redeem it right away. I had a bad experience with their customer service when I tried to book an appointment. I called and made a Saturday appointment but when I followed up to confirm it, I was told that the groomer doesn't work on Saturdays or Sundays. The person that answers the phones apologized for giving the wrong information, but said she would call the groomer tech and see if she could come in and let me know either way. She never called, so I assumed she didn't work on the weekends. Keep in mind I live 20 mins away from this place and didn't want to waste my time driving. Now the experience .. I have a 6 month old female Yorkie. After the first appointment fell through, I decided to try again and give them a chance to see what they could do. I also wanted to use the groupon I purchased. My gf and I came in today to have Lexi hair's trimmed and we dropped her off at 10am and we were told they would call us around 2pm to pick her up. They asked us what type of hair cut and we specifically told them a TRIM. When my gf picked her up today they made her look like a boy! Her hair cut is TERRIBLE ! After this experience I wouldn't let my dog get a haircut there if they offered it for FREE! I guess it's true what they say.. You get what you pay for! I don't recommend these people at all. I love Chandler Dogs. I've never left a dog at daycare because I had always heard horror stories and didn't trust it. But this place is amazing. I work night shift as a nurse and bring Hank to daycare almost every shift and board him at least once a month. He always comes home exhausted. So I know he had a great time playing and it allows me to sleep after my long shifts. I saw some reviews about their dogs smelling bad, but he's in a room with a ton of dogs slobbering on each other and playing, so this is to be expected. But this only happens when he gets boarded for more than a few days and they will give him an exit bath. Hank loves the employees as well (especially Hannah). He runs right up to them and takes himself to the back. If I ask, I get pictures or updates about Hank, like the photo attached. He clearly loves this place. read more

I can't praise Chandler Dogs enough for what they do. This place is awesome. My dog Mari absolutely loves it there. In fact, we can be a few minutes away and she will begin whining with excitement in the car because she knows where she is going. The staff is wonderful and seem to genuinely love being there. They love on Mari as if she were their own. We were nervous at first that they would not take our pit mix because she has a tendency to be a little overly aggressive when she plays, but after the 4 hour trial period they said she did great and all she needs is to get that energy out. They have a cage free policy which I LOVE and they arrange the dogs by size. our dog used to go to another location for boarding and when we asked how she did during multiple 1 hour playtimes during the day, they replied by saying that they couldn't let Mari play with the rest of the pack because they couldn't handle her and she just remained in her cage. I nearly died... 3 days my poor dog stayed alone in her little prison and probably only got 1-2 15 minute walks during the day, if that. Chandler dogs would NEVER DO THAT! (Thanks Chandler Dogs) Be prepare to have your pup possible covered in a little drool and smelling a little, but the benefits heavily outweigh the negative.
