Passed by this burger joint on the way to a movie theater and decided to have dinner here after the movie. At 7PM on a Sunday, it wasn't too busy. We were able to choose between a regular table or the bar stools. The restaurant has a wide menu with various burgers, sandwiches, and desserts. We ordered the Paul Kanter burger and The Works. Overall the burgers were really good, but order is just the burger by its self--not including sides or fries. Ambiance is nice, old-fashioned burger joint/ soda shop style. And this time of year they have Christmas decorations. Only parallel meter parking outside (free on sundays) or parking in residential area available.

I ran in here for a sandwich on a Saturday. The place is the same but I haven't been here in years . I ordered a Ruben and potato salad . I sat outside lucky because there a couple of unruly children randomly screaming.Parents just allowed it ? The Ruben was ok not bad but the potato salad was the blandest I had ever had . When I got back and told where I had been they asked why because obviously they knew . I guess the place is ok for kids LOL. I joked that maybe they should hire the two kids when they wanted to close early. I'm not going back don't think it will get better. I did have a delicious milk shake here a coffee.

I've been coming to Bill's since I was a kid. It's had its ups and downs. One thing has been consistent and that's the quality of the meat. Recently, I've come back a couple times and the burgers are still great but the FRIES are absolutely delicious! Whatever changes they made to the fries is working and they are great! Service has also dramatically improved in the last 6-9 months. If you haven't been there in a while, I suggest you go back and give it another shot. It's definitely improved recently.

A staple in the Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco. I finally dined in after all these years. We sat in the back courtyard with our dog and enjoyed our burgers and fries. Delicious and relaxing in this unusual hot day!

So happy to find a place with the classic diner feel! We got the hamburger medium doneness with added mushrooms and a side of fries. We have no complaints! It was a juicy and flavorful patty and the fries were fresh matchsticks.

I love a good burger, and they definitely have them here. Brought my entire family and they all had a great time. We ordered a burger with mushroom, tuna melt, cheeseburger, veggie sandwich, coleslaw, fries, sweet potato fries, beer... we loved them all. Our favorite dish was the mushroom one: "Paco Melt". The server was very attentive and professional and the ambience is very cute. Historical dinner sort of establishment with some cool pictures on the wall that proudly show off their history.

Bill's place is an essential burger joint and historic SF landmark. It's the best place to get a classic hamburger in the city. My parents went on dates here. My dad took me here when I was a kid. I grew up going on dates here, and now I bring my daughter here. This time we split the Bills 65th anniversary Burger with plenty to take home. The cornucopia burgers, cheese, bacon, fries, and onion rings was amazing. And free refills on sodas! Everyone is super friendly and it's a great vibe! Thank you to the Jarrar family for preserving and perfecting this jewel of San Francisco!

We are return customers. Last time we were here was March 2024. It was just me and hubby thia time. I had the Reuben and it was delicious. Hubby had the cheeseburger and fries. I mooched fries off his plate. Great food and service as usual. We also got a chocolate malt and it was tasty.

I just had another amazing dinner here with my family. The fish and chips I had was very delicious. The French fries were excellent. The service was friendly and the ambiance of this place was amazing. I can see myself continuing to come back here. I will love to take a picture but my camera on my phone is not working unfortunately.

Food is always amazing, best patty melt I've ever had. My toddler eats almost a whole basket of curly fries every time too! Staff and patrons were all really patient and friendly with my wild toddler that did nothing but run around. we dined both inside and outside because of our wild child's need to run and climb. The back is clean and completely closed in so I didn't have to worry about her getting out! sorry and thank you everyone! Also it's owned and operated by a really great family 10/10 recommend Bill's

Actual old timey burger place so if you like the things the way it use to be, this is a place for you. They have a "Celebrity Burger" which is like 4 burgers in one. A YouTuber, LATryguy, was filming his visit & he had the Celebrity Burger. The fries are so-so but the burger was pretty good.

Food we ordered: - Tom yum omelette w/ shrimp - Thai tea French toast - Drunken noodles w/ chicken -- the noodles they used are not the typical noodles I'm used to but it was filled with flavor with a kick of spice. - Tom yum noodle soup w/ crispy chicken -- my favorite dish!! The crispy chicken was recommended by the server and it truly did not disappoint. The chicken was crisp and juicy and the noodles were cooked perfectly. For drinks we got the Thai iced tea, butterfly lychee fizz, and the coconut milk latte. I got the Thai ice tea less sweet and it was perfect for me ( I usually don't like it super sweet). The butterfly lychee fizz was very refreshing (could be less sweet for me) and the coffee was also very good! Would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area or looking for brunch food that isn't your typical American brunch!

In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

They had a nice crisp on the outside and were soft on the inside. I also got a regular coffee, and they do unlimited refills. The place was busy for brunch, and I liked the bear theme. Some of the coffees came in bear-shaped glasses, and some of the lattes had a decorative bear made out of ice.
