Came here for lunch. Found it through Google search. The process area pretty decent, the spot is pretty clean (The tables were sticky) and the employees seem friendly. I ordered a burger and added toppings to. I asked so many questions and the person that took my order was very accomodating lol. They bring your food to your table. Was walking around the Haight looking for food. My partner wanted a burger and said he liked Flippin Burger, which he used to go to when he lived nearby. We walked in and it was packed just after 6pm on a Friday night! I like how the clientele was pretty diverse and there were quite a few kids (under 5) and also some high schoolers. Cheeseburger with avocado just over $10! Cheeseburger for under $10! Cheeseburger and fries for under $15! Prices seemed very reasonable for San Francisco. Good portions and very friendly and attentive service. They do a pretty good takeout business, too. Burger was juicy and fresh. Nice amount of lettuce and avocado (extra.) Flippin Burger makes an OK burger. It tasted fine. My dinner was a bacon cheese burger with mushroom, egg with extra lettuce, tomato & onions $16.50 with garlic fries $5. Minor nits: Avoid adding bacon $3. At first I couldn't see it. After looking into the burger, was a folded 1/2 slice of bacon. Add an extra patty for $2.50 instead. The patty is small compared to the size of the bun. I pushed it out to take the photo. Cheese $.75, egg $2 and mushrooms $1 add-ons are fine. Garlic fries has no garlic taste. This restaurant is right on Haight St. it's pretty casual dining. You order at the counter, they give you a number and you wait for your food. The wait wasn't too long. We each ordered a Beyond Burger and a side of fries. The burger was delicious and love that the bread is just the right size. I could have had less pickles on mine though, they were huge slices. It's in a nice cozy neighborhood with a lot of cute small businesses and a surprising amount of vegetarian restaurants. Prices haven't gone up in a while which was a nice detail and the restaurant is a fun casual family environment (they were playing Nickelodeon on the TV). Ordered a flippin burger and yaya's loaded tater tots. The burger was all right, a classic staple, but what I enjoyed the most was the tater tots. Huge portion, flavorful toppings, and could honestly be a meal on its own. Restroom was unfortunately out of order but hopefully that should get fixed soon. They advertise a $7.00 Burger, which intrigued me. But when I found it was a 1/4 lb., I said Meh and that's w/o cheese, which is extra. I understand fries are extra as well. So I chose the Fried Chicken Sandwich $9.95. Chicken was huge and fell out all over the bun. Or rather the bun wasn't big enough to contain the chicken. I asked for extra Aioli on the side as it was truly flavorless. And way too much slaw. I never saw the Swiss Cheese. And frankly, the slaw should just be served on the side. The fries were good and more than plentiful @ $3.95. The service was good and the place was immaculate, for that I give them 5 * Decent prices compared to many other places in the Haight. 10/10 burgers and quick service! It's located right across the panhandle and around the neighborhood on Haight so easy to walk to for a good local burger. The only thing is that I ordered an extra patty which was phenomenal but my girlfriend who added on bacon only got 2-3 small thin slices of bacon. It's up charge for the extra patty was less than adding on bacon, so I would think they would add on a few more slices. But they were great regardless! The place got a cool skater, local CA burger joint style to it. Wished they could've wiped down the tables after people finished up. I was going to give it two more tries; but then I needed to move unexpectedly, pushing me too far away realistically to come here regularly and easily and, thus, obviating the need for those two more tries. But I had it in the back of my mind the first time I came. That it would get more tries and that that first time would be the first of at least three before I gave the place an honest Yelping. The shakes are very good. The fries should be better, but they're not bad. Why is this place here again? Who knows, and somehow, it has survived. The interior is cheerful and bright, if not downright fun, even at night. And on Haight Street, that takes quite some doing. The garlic fries are never overcooked or burnt. They are simply delicious. Every member of the team smiles and greets folks as they walk in and do what they can to enhance the dining experience of their guests. It is easy to see that they enjoy being there and taking care of others.
