Bill's saved our vacation!! Okay, maybe a little overdramatic, but they sure came through when we needed help. Grabbed our pop up tent trailer from storage to get ready to leave for Tahoe the next day. Uh oh! Noticed one of the tires was low. Checking both further, both had developed cracks. At the beginning of the holiday weekend, on a road trip from Washington state with my bf we had an issue with a tire. This is a awesome tire shop for commercial trucks and trailers. They usually have heavy duty tires in stock and ready for install. I've purchased tractor tires here as well for a Kubota. Prices are good and the guys doing the installs are professional. Can be a little tricky to park in the back where they do your install. But they guide you to the right spot. Les Schwab in Brentwood quoted me $600 for two load range G trailer tires with a two day shipping date. Bills had them in stock for about 25% cheaper. These guys go above and beyond... Especially Karl. I've been in a tight spot financially (who isn't these days?), and recently bought an older car. I realized the next day in the day light that my left front tire was missing a lug nut and the pin that goes through the center to keep your tire from falling off! Scary, right??? So, I went to Monument Car Parts, then Autozone, and as it turns out, you have to buy an entire set of lug nuts at a time. You can't just purchase ONE. So I would have spent $20-$30, easily. Disappointed and frustrated, I stopped by Bill's Tires on the way home, not sure what to expect. ....and along comes Karl, my knight in shining armor! He was so helpful, and patient, going back and forth until he had the right parts in the right places. I asked him if he could check out the spare tire that came with the car (it was flat and I didn't even know if it was usable at all), and he made sure it was good to go, ready for when I need it. I went to pay him, and he refused.... saying that he had done his good deed for the week. I could have cried....seriously...I got teary eyed! So, I am sold. the service was okay and very fast but the problem comes from the prices and the type of tire they installed. the guy without saying anything grabs my rim and goes and grabs a tire and installs it, never told me a price or type of tire he was using. he ended up installing a bias ply tire while all my other tires are radials and the tire was 2 sizes larger than all my others on the trailer. so now I've had this tire in service for 2 months and its completely bald, 2 months bald!!!! thats ridiculous by any means read more

Yes, Bill's Tire Service is indeed 'as good as it gets!' Personal, friendly, knowledgable service like in the good ol' days. I was fortunate enough to get Bill himself on the phone and he worked a miracle for me and my family. I'd been willed a circa 1947 Little Ceasar trailer from my grandparents. It fell to me to remove it from my folks' home when they passed on. Deal is, no tow truck could fit into the back lot where the trailer was located. And the trailer tires were flat with rotten rubber in a vintage tire size no longer made. Bill was my only hope and he magically manifested two tires which would fit. This enabled a tow-truck to flat-bed the old trailer home. Not only did Bill find the right, vintage tires (and charged me just a token price), but he also found an 'old school' tow-truck driver to handle the job where many might have been yellow-bellied. The best part - Bill was so interested in helping me, he actually stopped by my folks' home to scope out the old trailer on his weekend, thus enabling him to find the right tires & to give me sound advice about whether the trailer was worth saving. And now he is even still available & willing to connect me with vintage trailer refurbish craftsmen. Bill...what a guy! They broke the mold to men like Bill and anyone who crosses his path - whether to do with tires or just by chance - we are all the luckier and richer for having met him. Thanks a million, Bill!
