I'm always very pleasant with people who work in customer service because I completely understand how it is to deal with unreasonably rude customers. I came in here a little clueless but still very pleasant and I was treated like dirt for no reason by the large woman with glasses at the front desk. I just don't know what I did wrong and I wasn't angry at all that my car was towed (it was my own fault after all). So with what I have seen and now what I am going through is the same thing I am a trucker and needed them to unload with one of there rollbacks they said they were committed to the job and are in route this was at 1:35pm.....it is now 6:44pm and they say my drivers are really busy right now please be patient? Me..you committed to the job at 1:35pm what happened between then and 1:36pm that you had to pull the driver out of route to do something else.? Them we had other calls....me .oh ok so you cherry pick the loads good to know now I must find someone else and now drive back to the truck stop and wait till tomorrow...know this it will not be bills towing that gets my business tomorrow read more

Lady in the office wouldn't let us get personal item from our truck unless we paid $90.00 because it's a holiday. She was just answering the phone. How hard would it be to let us get our things. Tow truck driver was helpful after the accident. I don't feel like they take care of there customers very well :( We will not use them again. read more

We are a business with a small fleet of midrange trucks. We made the mistake of calling Bill's towing to have our largest truck, a 24' box truck towed to a nearby shop. We contacted Bill's at 1:11 PM and requested a tow, and upon asking for a time frame were told approximately 2 hrs. At 3:43 PM we called for an updated ETA and were told that the driver had dropped off his current vehicle in Pacific, Wa and would be about an hour coming to Tacoma, Wa to pick up our truck (without traffic a 23 minute drive google listed the travel time with traffic as 47 minutes). At 6:06 PM when we called again to find out where the truck was, the woman who answered the phone stated that the driver was just finishing with his latest customer and would be on the way shortly (another 30 - 45 minutes). When I asked how that could be since I was told more then 2 hours earlier that he was already on his way to our location she said, "I just got on and all I know is what I told you" (paraphrased). Not sure who lied to us about our service call but obviously someone did. Absolutely the worst service we have ever received from another business. We only called them because the shop we are using said they had good luck with them. I find that hard to believe. We will never again call them for anything, If I could have left negative stars I would have. Avoid this business at all cost. I would find it hard to believe the positive reviews are anything but paid for fraudulent reviews as they are the short one line reviews usually left by those who are paid to falsely up a company's Yelp profile. Update. 6:44 PM, Received a call from Bill's Driver, informing me he had just dropped his current tow off at the shop (the same one our truck is going to) and he is heading our way. Funny, that is similar to the story I received almost 40 minutes ago from his office. My vehicle DIED on I-5 in heavy traffic as I was on my way to take a test. State Police and DOT were on scene, I forgot my phone. Talk about stress...BUT- "JJ", with Bill's towing, showed up, calmly saying, "I am here to help, and whatever you need, wherever you need to go, I am here to help." I am suggesting that people keep this number, even if they have other services, because of the personal, and professional service I received. It's nice to know there are people who truly CARE out there, and this Company is one of them. read more

One of our company trucks had a roll over last week. When cleaning the hazmat spill at the site with kitty litter, they shoveled it into the cab of our truck!! Gas, oil and kitty litter all over the dash, seats, floor and personal space of my driver. When my dispatcher called today to inquiry why they felt that was necessary, he was told the Bills Towing employee deemed our truck 'totaled' - now Bills Towing is an insurance adjustor? Also was told they would do the same to "my own vehicle'. The WSP called this company to assist at the scene. read more

They found ways to add charges to jack my bill. The driver fumbled through my car and spilled an open sprite on the seat and just left it there. They towed my car then the driver took off with my paperwork so I had to sit in that dank office for several hours. Disgusting experience. Empty vending machines, dirty and gossiping staff. I was struck by a vehicle at 38th and commerce last week. We called bills Towing to come help us. Their driver shows up to tow our car. We think that this guy was new to towing because what I am about to tell you is seriously something that I wouldn't want to happen to you as it did to us. The driver starts hooking up our Mercedes, forgets to put the vehicle in park without the brake on and starts to roll down east commerce street. It keeps rolling and rolling and the driver starts freaking out. my wife and I are sitting their panicking! we were thinking oh sh!!!! it's gonna hit a car. Before you know it the car rolls into one, Two, three cars!! I kid you not! The Tow driver Said sorry! I forgot it was a Manuel. So here we are. Stranded. calling for an uber to take us home. ..I had Bill's tow my truck to get a new starter..the dispatcher told me my wait would be 90 minutes..well Bill's showed up in just under an hour..(which is something that can sometimes be "hit and miss" when you need a tow) Unfortunately there was some damage from the way the truck was secured..it happens (shrugs) The folks at Bill's really got everything taken care of..and fast. They got my truck to an AUTHORIZED Ford mechanic, not "Zeke up on the corner." It took about 2 hours and my truck is as good as new! A big "thanks" and GOOD JOB to John, Amy and everybody else at Bill's towing for not letting this be a giant pain in the neck! read more

Never use this company!!! My daughter's car broke down in a bad part of Federal Way last weekend. She has AAA and they called Bill's to have it towed approximately 45 miles to my house so my husband could fix it. Bill's refused to help my daughter because it was Saturday night and they could have made much more money towing locally! My daughter could have been stuck in a bad place overnight ALONE because this greedy company couldn't be bothered to to help her. I'm so angry that these people didn't care about my daughter's safety in the least! If I could give 0 stars to this company I would!! No such thing as customer service with this company!!! read more

10 stars across the board!!! I've had several accidents over the years and I was in an accident in my brand new Range Rover and immediately called Bills Towing. They showed up within 15 minutes and the driver had my truck on his flatbed within 5 min. It was obvious that this tow truck driver had years of experience and didn't leave a scratch on my car. They helped me every which way and were by far the most professional company I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I called for a jump start at 4:15 PM on December 29 and was told to expect the driver by 5:15 PM. I called back at 5:15 PM and was told that the driver was clearing an accident and would arrive "momentarily". The dispatcher was unable or unwilling to give me a new time estimate nor did she apologize for not informing me of the delay. The driver arrived at 5:50 PM and I was on my way at 6:00 PM. I was charged $49.28 which was the amount I was quoted over the phone. The driver was unable to make change. read more

If you are looking for GREAT rates that are lower than 90% of the competition on the area, honest and professional guys who seem to really care, make this your last call. My experience started out bad, as anyone's would where your car is stranded. Initially I called my insurance to find out that I didn't have tow insurance included in my plan which sucked! They informed me that they could tow my car for roughly $90 and would take 90 minutes - 4 hours for the tow truck to arrive. I declined and let my car sit all night in a lighted parking area. The next day I shopped around and called about 6 Tacoma tow companies. All of them either matched the insurance companies price or went well above all for a less than a 6 mile tow (ridiculous!). Mind you my car is not lowered nor a highly luxurious vehicle calling for special tow equipment which generally bumps up the price even more. Out of the 6 I called BILLS TOWING surprisingly quoted me $30-$60 cheaper than every single company I called! It was a no brainer. While on the phone the dispatcher informed me that they would be there in 10 minutes, way quicker than 90 minutes from my insurance company! The driver was there in 10 minutes and was a "customer service professional" not some guy who was there just for a paycheck and wanted to hurry up and get me out of the way and on to the next customer (I believe his name was JOSH). At the end of the day my car got from point A to B at a very cheap rate and was carefully towed by a GREAT company and employee. Bills Towing are swindlers and liers. My daughters car was stolen Tacoma Police recovered the vehicle. We went to Bills towing the tow truck driver that towed the car advised us that the car was drivable all it needed was a jump and screw driver to start it. My daughter must have asked 3 or 4 times what condition her car was in and was told the it was drivable just needed a jump and a screw driver to start it. They never offered us the option to go look at the car prior to paying. They make you go to one location to pay then you have to go to another location to pick up your car. When we get there the car has no transmission no battery no spark plugs amoung other missing parts.. Since the tow truck driver that towed the car advised us that the car was in running condition, my guess is that employees of bills towing stripped the car.. They would not give us our money back... they are swindlers they lie.. they do bad businnes they are rude read more
