    Cinnamon milk bread
    Lily G.

Everything here is delicious here but my favorite is the cinnamon milk bread. It's so easy to keep eating "one more slice" and then all of a sudden you've eaten it all!

2 rustic sourdough, 1 herbed focaccia, 1 cinnamon milk bread

I purchased 2 rustic sourdough loafs, 1 herbed focaccia, and 1 cinnamon milk bread from Billy. I was blown away! All of the breads were better than I could have imagined. They were warm and soft when we picked them up, not sure how they made it home with out them being torn into. I will definitely be purchasing again. Thank you Billy!

Amazing bread will likely start ordering weekly. Made amazing toast right after it was delivered and sandwiches throughout the week.

Unbelievable bread. An absolute staple since we discovered it in February. My highest recommendation! Don't miss Billy Bread!

Ask the Community - Billy Bread

Are your bread made with natural yeast?

The sourdoughs are 100% naturally fermented and risen, no commercial yeast. The other breads do have commercial yeast

Do you offer the bread to come sliced?

I do not. But they are easy enough to cut into. I like thick bread, my wife likes it thin, some like it in between so it seems beat all around this way.

Do you have a storefront opened today?

I am a cottage bakery so I bake out of my house. I usually only bake on Wednesdays but I am baking some hot cross buns for Easter morning.

I think they make a lot of their items fresh in the morning, so they were out of the one I wanted--so just keep that in mind! If you're eyeing a particular sandwich, probably come earlier in the day to be safe. But honestly? I ended up getting something kind of like a salad sandwich situation and it was SO yummy. A great little treat on the way home! Definitely a happy accident. I also ordered a matcha and it was delicious. The space inside is super clean and pretty--like if you want a cute little catch-up with your friends, this is it. They have AC (bless), great seating, and it's spacious but still cozy. They've got regular tables and also some little sofa areas if you wanna sink into something soft while you sip your drink. Definitely recommend!

I had the best conversation with the man inside at the deli who took my order yesterday. The cashier was very dry and bland when I tried to be friendly and chipper when I walked in and while checking out but he didn't seem to care. I ordered an Italian Sub with some minor adjustments. I removed the Mortadella, provolone, and red wine dressing, I added genoa salami and garlic aioli instead with the ciabatta bread. I am still in awe of the taste and flavor and freshness. I finished half before work and the other half after because the sandwich was HUGE. It was worth every penny and it was a lot more affordable that I expected. The deli was in a grocery story type location so I was able to walk around and look at snacks and find something to drink as well. The ambiance was quiet, it was during work hours I stopped by so pretty much the entire plaza/Village was a bit empty. I will most definitely be coming by every-time I'm in the area. I loved this place so much. Thank you to the man behind the deli, your sandwich was a work of art!

When I was there, it was mid afternoon (before closing) so it was calmer all around. I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. Server was much more talkative and friendly because it wasn't crowded when I went. In general I felt a friendlier warm vibe compared to Ventura location, but either one is great for classic European vibe, and great pastries.

It's a casual & cute cafe that always hits the mark and we love seeing their growth all over the 805. I stopped in for an iced matcha and decided to try something new and I'm so glad I did. Huge kudos to Ashley for recommending their breakfast crepe (not something I'd normally order, but WOW was it good). BREAKFAST CREPE: A fluffy crepe filled with soft, melty brie, eggs, bacon, arugula and tomatoes, absolutely delicious and so well balanced. I'd get this again in a heartbeat. 10/10 ICED MATCHA: Washed it all down with a sweet iced matcha, just how I like it...lightly sweet, a little creamy, and still packing that earthy matcha flavor. 8/10. Definitely a great location in the heart of old town camarillo. Nice staff, clean interior, cozy vibes and good food.
