I picked up a few things. All individually packed. I have tasted half of 2 things. I tried half of the Cafe Mocha Scone(was better than okay) and half of the Gluten Free Ultimate Brownie(wow). The brownie was like having a flourless chocolate cake. So decadent and dense and good. They were are all frozen. So, 10 seconds in the microwave will do it. They will heat it for you if you want it now. It was like being in a dressed down industrial kitchen. No places to sit inside or out. Get it to go and go about your day. Let me preface this by saying Fine Sconehenge Baking is not a seat-in restaurant or cafe; it is a commercial bakery with a small storefront. They sell and deliver baked goods, and though they will gladly serve you if you walk into the bakery, their business model focuses on online sales. That being said, I cannot rave enough about how much I love Sconehenge. It has become my go-to when I want to gift someone a box full of goodies. Do not be fooled by their name; they have much more than scones: their cookies, brownies, and banana bread are all to die for. Their treats are on the expensive side, but for a special occasion or a special someone (or just to treat yourself!) they are absolutely worth it. They have seasonal items, so I get to try something new every time I come back. If you are looking for something to try, my personal favorites are the pecan pie bars and their trail mix cookies. For a gluten-free treat, try the banana bread. If you're not a fan of nuts, their brownies and lemon bars are also exceptional. read more

Yikes, this has got to be the worst sandwich I've every seen. Very poorly made, only turkey and ham on the menu for the last month. Bread was falling apart and the ingredients are very cheep, not impressed at all. At least there in the axxess ventura card, so it's buy one get one free for the first time. Don't be tricked by their lunch menu - this is not a restaurant or even passable deli. This is a commercial bakery where an employee can make you one of two sandwiches at the reception desk - "ham or turkey." The sandwich I got had lunchmeat slices of ham, two chunks of cheddar, lettuce, and tomato. It fell apart as soon as I unwrapped it. So I've visited Sconehenge a few times here in Camarillo. This location that I visit (across from Taco Bell) is actually their warehouse, where they cook and prepare everything that is sold at nearby Lassens, Whole Foods, etc. So-- tip for the wise-- if you love Sconehenge, it's much cheaper to just buy their food here! Other stores mark up the price, obviously. It's also fresher from the store. Right now there is a small selection of desserts, such as lemon bars, cookies, and scones. I used to like their maple brown sugar-y scone, but then I found better bakeries... Overall they make healthy food, and the people who rung me up (the owners, maybe) were very pleasant and chatty. :) Also- heads up, they require a $5 minimum for credit card purchases. read more

I came in one morning to buy scones as a treat for my work team. The man at the counter was really helpful in picking out a good variety of flavors. Everyone loved the scones! I was mistaken I thought this place had lunch but when we arrived at approx 11:30 the woman behind the counter said they don't serve food. Behind her was a menu but apparently they don't have food? Strange not sure if the other reviews are old or she just didn't feel like making us a sandwich. Anyways we did purchase a gluten free cookie it was horrible as was the gluten free brownie. I was craving an English-style scone so I stopped in hoping from the name that the scones would be light and fluffy. I did buy one that was labeled English, but it was American in style: dense, sweet and bready. I also tried their lemon raspberry and ginger versions. The flavor was good and they're better than those rocky lumps they sell at Starbucks at least. Since I was there I picked up the everyone's favorite cookie and some brownie bars (the trimmed edges from the bagged brownies). The cookie was chewy and chunky... Quite good for the style. The brownies are a little sharp but good for a fudgy brownie. I was taken aback by the prices which were higher than I expected for a commerical bakery and closer to retail. $3 per cookie and scone. They're individually wrapped too so not the best for the environment. The brownie ends were a good bargain at $3 for a small clamshell box. They also sold trimmings from their other bars like this too. If they want to have a more retail feel with their closer to retail prices, a seating area out front would be nice if their landlord would allow it. read more

Super convenient, close to the office, great quality service, and AWESOME! The scones are perfect with a cup of tea or coffee (I love the candied ginger), the salads have fresh and delicious ingredients, but the sandwiches...they're my favorite. I have ordered gift baskets every year from Fine Sconehenge's website for the past 3 or 4 years for holiday or birthday gifts for my family and friends. The recipients ALWAYS rave about the brownies and scones. Personally, I think the scones are the best I've ever had from anywhere, including those I've eaten at English teas. Brownies were good and their turkey sandwich was amazing with their avocado mix. Only problem was the bread was poorly made fell apart. Also tried talking about it to a lady Debbie and she was so rude didn't care for the helping advise. She was acting like a know it all. Gave them another try a week later. Walked into this Debbie lady telling her worker that she was pretty much to stupid to do the job and just didn't get it. Got a coffee and never returned. Poor management and business owner. Went here based on the Yelp reviews. Since moving from San Luis Obispo County, have been on the hunt for a great cinnamon roll. They are much better up North. Tried their cinnamon roll and was a bit disappointed. Very little cinnamon flavor. Did try the brownie and that was excellent ! Lemon raspberry scone was also very good although would like more lemon flavor. Will be back and try more scones. Guess I should stick with what they do best as their name says it all. read more

I've been buying and eating Fine Sconenge products for quite a few years. I usually purchase the products at the SPROUTS markets. I have to say I'm very surprised by the reviews posted on here. I LOVE the Lemon Bars, Brownies and Blondies. I've also purchased the various scones. I buy their products every week from SPROUTS and they are consistently very tasty and meet my expectations. They were definitely not dry nor were they lacking in flavor. All their products are truly ALL NATURAL and I'm glad that I'm eating treats that are made of REAL FOOD.
