We ordered take out of a large pepp and black olive pizza. The crust is crispy and on the thinner side. It's okay pizza. Not the best I've had but def not the worst. The Greek salad on the other hand. Awesome. read more

As a native Angeleno who now lives most of the year in NYC, I've become a pizza snob. I actually dread coming home to California and having the regular hunger pang for good pizza. Well, I can dread no more. While staying at a summer house we have in Palm Desert, I visited Billy Q's yesterday for the first time. Wow! Excellent pizza. While the style and toppings portion make it more akin to a Deep Dish/Chicago hybrid, the ingredients were fresh, the sourdough crust tasty, and the overall experience very satisfying. I ordered a half pepperoni/half sausage/all jalapeno small sourdough pie. It was more than ample enough for two meals (and I AM a hearty eater). I will be back! I've now found my NYC quality pizza place away from home. :) read more

This place is a great find. We came here two days in a row. The Mac and Cheese pizza is genius. The homemade chips awesome and the classic sandwich worth getting 2 nights in a row. Maybe 3. Will be back. Prices are good and service hustles around in a busy small space. Big Billy Q fan. read more

Simply put, yes, it's the best on sooo many levels! The service is just amazing, genuinely friendly and make you feel like your at home, and it was our first time there. My husband had the gluten free bbq chicken pizza and he said it was his favorite crust to date! My daughter and I had the marguerita pizza on sourdough crust and that was absolutely delicious. My other two kids had a pepperoni pizza and a house salad and, again, both did not disappoint. The prices were very reasonable!! Can't wait to go back, definitely recommend this place!! read more

My husband and I went here for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was fantastic we split a small pizza that was half a pastrami half the works loved all of it we also had a small dinner salad with ranch dressing and the salad was fresh and the dressing was wonderful the great part of the dining there is talking with Daniella who is bubbly and wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a fun place to have some great pizza. read more

Terrible customer service. Called once, "we don't deliver" click. Ordered two pizzas through delivery service "postmates", they only made one. Postmates driver calls to ask why only one pizza. I called Billy Q's again and they said "what do you want me to do about it". I asked for a manager, and they hung up. With so many options, reward customer service. Avoid these clowns read more

Inconsistent. I ordered a Reuben and a cheeseburger to go and as I waited for said food I saw giant plates of wings being enjoyed by patrons dining inside. And noted the dish for a future visit. Took my food home to find a serviceable cheeseburger and fries and a Reuben with less than an ounce of corned beef in it. At the time the entire staff working were these post adolescent bros. Fast forward to the next visit. I ordered previously mentioned giant plate of wings and was not given the same amount of wings as I saw on the previous visit being enjoyed by the sit in diners. Yes I was dining in that second trip. Inconsistent practices. What I saw was a mountain of wings. What I was served amounted to 10 wings give or take. Hardly a mole hill. read more

I'm a New Yorker so a pizza snob. The pizza is good nothing like pizza from New York. We were 10 people and not everyone had pizza. The few that did enjoyed it. I was more impressed with the staff. The pizza was really tasty. Something about the crust was a bit different, it almost tasted gluten free. Hopefully it doesn't always taste that way. Also, they gave me a medium instead of a large (which is okay because I paid for a medium). We had the margarita pizza, which I do recommend. Not bad Crust is actually pretty poor quality but topping are better. Service is pretty much non existent here . Not that many pizza joints in the area so I can imagine they would be ok unless someone opens pizza joint close. read more

Billy Q's is located in what we know as an average shopping center with many other small restaurants to it's right and left. Out on the sidewalk are a couple of metal tables and chairs for outdoor seating. Unfortunately, during the time of year I went it was too cold to sit outside. But walk in side and you'll find bar height tables and stools and one thin walk way that leads from the front of the store to the back . Walk way is very narrow and every table was taken, which means their food must be good. Also they do serve beer. Kitchen is completely open for all to see how the pizza is made, which is pretty cool and they have bar seating up by the cashier, like a diner. So, pizza was soooo good! Crust crisps and cheese melty! Mmmm! Perfect amount of sauce. I was a little surprised because I had my doubts about this place especially because I was craving Mexican food that night but all in all I'm glad I talked into trying this hidden gem. read more

Over all the pizza was very good. For the first time we tried macaroni and cheese, which was fulfilling. One minus is that there is no delivery. On a hot day when you don't want to leave the house, it would be easier to order from a place that delivers. read more

Really overpriced pizza. Have to say the Staff is great!! The large is pretty small for the $25 price tag. I can see hanging out having a few beers watching the games though. If you are just ordering out there has to be better options. read more
