I'm always in search of some SOLID pizza. I decided to try a new location and this place did NOT let me down! Tucked away in the corner of an old strip shopping center, it would be easy to overlook. But once inside, we were warmly greeted and told to sit wherever we liked. We ordered our drinks and then a large meat lovers pizza with an order of wings. The buffalo sauce was on the side and these wings absolutely didn't need the sauce. They were perfect as-is! The pizza was amazing!! We took half of it back to our hotel and it made for a pretty good breakfast the next morning! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town! read more

Staff: The team here was nice. Quality/Quantity; Yoooooooo let me tell you the pizza here is fire! It is likely the 2nd best pizza I have ever had. We opted for pepperoni and pineapple.....yes I said pineapple because it does belong on pizza. The dough is especially tasty. It is not crunchy but rather soft and fluffy. Truly delicious pizza! We got the large pizza which feed us perfectly. Value: $25 for a pizza so subjective. Overall: It is a nice spot with a family ambiance. Based upon the patrons, it is safe to say that they are a very popular spot. The one issue that brought down the ranking was the amount of time for the pizza. When we called in, we were told 35 minutes. I arrived and had to wait another 20 minutes. In the end, it was close to an hour and we were all starving. In reality this is a good sign that they are very busy, which is what you want in a restaurant. However, when you're already starving, adding another 20 minutes to your time is not the most exciting . I would definitely come back in the future though. read more

Pizzeria Bambinos is tucked away in a strip mall with businesses such as a nail shop and jeweler nearby. There is lots of indoor and patio seating, and we opted for a cool place inside on a very hot day. I ordered the Italian burger and my mom ordered a turkey sandwich. The Italian burger was good but not something I would get again. My mom loved her sandwich. I also ordered a margarita which was refreshing on a Coachella Valley summer day. They have Happy Hour on a few drinks M-Th. Service was amazing from everyone, and I would come back and try some different items. read more

We stopped by at around 7:45 on our way in Palm Desert for the weekend. We were seated right away in the bar area, where they had college football games on the TVs. We started with an antipasto salad that was not only delicious but beautiful. We were able to get two dressings -- Italian for me and blue cheese for the hubby (he said it has good flavor but needed more chunks). For pizza we got half Marini's Pizza Pie and half Tuscan Chicken Pizza. Pizza had good flavor and the crust was amazing -- so light and fluffy. Alex was a great server and checked on us frequently. Wanted to like this place. My friends from out of town ate here and loved it. They raved about the service and the food. Our experience was completely opposite. My friends and I went for lunch. We ordered the special, a slice (or two slices) and a side salad. Our server, who seemed to be the only front of the house person, got my order wrong. I ordered cheese, not pepperoni. (They only have two choices for the lunch special.) When I let him know, he brought me a lukewarm slice of cheese pizza. The mistake on my order wouldn't bother me so much, except the server seemed to be very disinterested in our table, our order, and us. Barely any eye contact. Not a fan of the pizza. The crust isn't really anything special. The salad is huge, and full of onions and olives and could really be a meal itself. We had the tiramisu for desert. It was fine. This valley has a real lack of decent pizza. I've tried four places so far and just not impressed. The search continues. read more

Called in an order for delivery. The delivery charge is currently only $3.00, which is a pretty darn good deal, IMO. The person answering the phone and taking the order was courteous, as was the driver who delivered the order. Unfortunately, it took a little over an hour to receive the order, and the driver had difficulty finding our address. FOOD: Started with a Classic Caesar Salad ($12.75) which was topped with grated Parmesan cheese and croutons, along with two sides of dressing. This was enough for 3 adults, maybe 4 with much smaller portions. Next, a Works Pizza (Large 14"/$26.95), minus the onions, which was tasty. We did miss receiving red pepper flakes and/or Parmesan cheese. Even with a few minor glitches, I'd still recommend them for your basic Italian food cravings. read more

We have ordered pizza from Bambino's four times now and think it is the best pizza we have had here in the desert. A lot of pizza causes us to wake up very thirsty the next morning. Likely due to large salt content. However with Bambino's that does not happen. We have tried many popular pizza places here but Bambino's is the best. read more

The best pizza I've ever had in the Coachella valley. Worth every penny and huge! Service was friendly. A bit slow and there were little to no customers at our visit. The bar in the back area where we were seated was also closed and it took a while before we received the pitcher of beer we ordered but at least it kept us busy while waiting for the food. Once the pizza arrived though it was worth the wait. The restaurant is surprisingly large inside with plenty of seating. Ordered "The Works Pizza" ($25.50) which includes pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, black olives, cherry tomatoes, red onions and extra cheese on top. This pizza was out of this world! Thick, cheesy, packed with toppings, juicy and full of flavor. We had a great lunch and still took some home for later. I also ordered the pesto pizza and the Hawaiian pizza, both with cauliflower crust. So good! I feel everything was designed and prepared with craft and care. This place ruined our night. The owner was so rude. They forgot to make our pizza. They said to call Uber. They took forever. They were just so rude and unorganized and blamed it on. Oh, we're just busy and then pretty much called me a liar when I'm telling the truth so I'm just absolutely disgusted with this place. This is an update to our previous Bambino's reviews. We had several splendid experiences with food eaten at Bambino's and also with delivery as well. Sometime ago we wrote a review that expressed extreme disappointment with the Bambino's food. Recently, we decided to give bambinos another try. Sadly, we had a house full of guests, including hungry young children, and our food order never showed up. Bambino's when called, said that the problem was not their problem and essentially we went hungry. So now we have a different and better delivery service and pizzeria. read more

Employees were arguing about seating us over the intercom. We arrived at 7:30ish. We ordered bow tie with broccoli n chicken. Was told we have NO coffee! So I ordered ice tea my friend ordered a coke. When the gentleman whom I presume a helper or staff of sorts brought the dronks placing the drinks he placed them in the wrong order, meaning I got the coke n my friend got my ice tea without making sure the order was correct, tossed the straws onto the table and left. We asked the waitress for a side of Alfredo sauce and were told the kitchen was closed and besides the sauce was only oil n butter? It was 8:10pm 5/27/2026.the ambiance was filled with Mexican music with a female belching out the lyrics in spanish! You would expect Italian music at a italian restaurant. I love trying new (to me) restaurants while visiting the desert as there are so many due to it being a tourist destination. Googled Italian restaurants near me and this one came up. Such a cute lil place, and I don't mean "lil" as in small (has plenty of seating including patio seating). The dining area also has a modern retro vibe with a small bar to boot & what appears to have live entertainment later in the evening as a band was setting up while we were finishing up our dinner. Prices are reasonable on some items and a tad expensive on others. For example, we started off with an antipasto salad (which was delicious) and plenty for 2 people; however, it was 14.95. We both ordered baked ziti (one with meat sauce and one with meatballs) and both were 13.75/ea and plenty for leftovers. We each ordered soft drinks which were an astonishing 4.00/ea. I say pick and choose wisely and you can get yourself a good deal (they also have happy hour). As for the food itself, it was pretty good but the pasta sauce was missing something (I don't know what). The antipasto salad was tasty and came with two ladles of dressing (of our choice, we chose italian). Our server was super friendly and attentive. Alejandro is such a great server. He's super attentive, friendly, and genuinely funny. As for the food, the turkey hot pocket is hands down the best lunch "sandwich" ever. It's huge (perfect for two) and flavorful. The chicken wings are delicious and crispy and the cheesy garlic bread is so yummy and homemade. Every salad I've tried has been bomb. We were greeted warmly, and the servers were friendly and attentive for the whole time we were there. We ordered salad/appetizers, followed by two pizzas (intending to take some slices home). The portions were very generous, and the food was great. The pizza was particularly good, and I was happy to have had some for the next day's lunch. Some friends of mine came over after a concert and brought back this left over pizza that we "had to try". One of them was a double pepperoni, and the other one, I'm sorry I wish I knew what it was. However, it had a white sauce with some vegetables . So, I grabbed my triangular pizza dish, put it in the microwave ( I so wish I had an air fryer lol), after getting it to temperature to my liking, it was absolutely wonderful. It didn't have that microwaved gummy crust to it, that you have to eat with a fork. It stayed together wonderfully consistently wise. I can only imagine how tasty these would be right out of the oven. So, next time you want pizza, if you're local lucky you, if not, grab the keys, grab the family, get down to their establishment.
