Pros: Great food, nice ambiance, location Cons: Parking, not the menu we were expecting based on the website I found Bin 100 through a Google search, and it had good reviews. I went to the website and looked at the menu, which was interesting without being weird. I chose it because my husband, who is a professional chef, loves duck and there was a nice-looking duck entree on the menu. When we arrived, the menu we'd viewed online was not the menu that we were given, so DH was pretty disappointed. That said, the menu that we were given had some nice selections. I ordered from the prix fixe, and my meal was excellent. I started with fried calamari, which was very tender and light. The house salad included a nice selection of veggies and a tasty vinegarette. The main course, gorgonzola chicken, was delicious, although a bit light on gorgonzola for my taste. The portion was surprisingly large. The dessert I selected, tres leches cake, was different. I had never tasted it before, which was why I ordered it. I, personally, didn't care for the texture of cake drenched in milk, but the flavor was good. My husband ordered the rib-eye from the regular menu. He was satisfied, but not delighted. Admittedly, he is a steak snob, so it takes a lot to impress him! His dessert portion was quite small for an $8 tiramisu, but the cake appeared to be made in-house, which is nice to see. At the end of the meal, the waiter brought a complimentary beverage of chocolate mixed with red wine. We don't drink alcohol, and I find the practice of giving it to people questionable without knowing thier situation. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. It was a pretty good value, especially for the prix fixe, which was $29 per person. Our check came to $90 without alcohol. I would definitely return to this restuarant if I were in the Milford area again. read more

The food is not worth the price. A Seltzer water is $2.50 without refills. Also, my server over charged me by $26.50 after he brought me the wrong meal. My scallops were over cooked. My salad dressing was flavorless. The fixed price menu seems to be the way to go, but can't help feeling its purpose is to turn tables faster. The ambiance is nice and we had a lovely time, but again, it's not shockingly amazing - it's all to be expected. read more

A Friday after work dinner at Bin 100. We sat at the bar and were givin a warm hello from the friendly and gregarious bartender Dan. We started with a signature cocktail, both cocktails were tasty and Dan was entertianing to watch making them, he demonstrated a bit of flair. We then ordered some small bites from the other bartender, Tia. The Stuffed Mushrooms and Clams Casino both were flavorful. The salads we ordered next were very good, the dishes were cold as well as the salads, hard to find NICE COLD salads in restaurants these days. Unfortunately every time we needed something we had to ask. The bar staff was reactive and NOT proactive. A charming personality (Dan) is enthusiastic and appealing at the bar, but service is a great deal more important. Each time a new course was brought out we had to request some flat wear. So while we waited our food was become colder with each passing minute. So with all that I enjoyed the food and the bartenders personality but "the basics" of service needs a boost. So managers your lacking, spend some time on service basics because you have a gem in Dan. read more

I really loved this place! A most of my friends have been raving about it for a while so I decided to check it out last week. I had the tuna tartar as an appetizer, it was good. Not great. The tuna wasn't really super fresh, and I kind of wish they served wonton chips or something with it. But it was still good. For my entree I had the seafood risotto and it was delicious! The seafood was prepared perfectly, the risotto was great as well. I didn't have a dessert, although I wanted to... Maybe next time. The service was really great. The interior decor is beautiful. I appreciate that a restaurant needs to make their money at the bar. Bin 100 provides very good food. Six of us ate there last night, we ordered drinks. Two of our wives ordered mixed drink and two of us guys ordered Glenlivet on the rocks. Our scotches were very light drinks.... if there was no rocks there surely would have been very little scotch. We ordered two more scotches..... again they were very weak . I waited to let our waitress know we were not happy. She brought the drinks back with Very little additional scotch. As I mentioned, I have no problem with a high end restaurant making $'s at the bar, just pour respectable drinks ! They were not at all bashful charging us $59 for four very light scotches. Went to Bin 100 last night with the in-laws. We all had the Prix Fixe dinner option; the food was plentiful and excellent. There was a bottomless supply of great ciabatta-style bread, generously poured drinks, and our server Daniel took really good care of us. Two of us had, and would highly recommend, the mussels appetizer, with a wonderful chorizo and coconut broth that stands alone and invites dipping. Everything else was terrific, too. We had such a lovely anniversary dinner tonight at Bin. This restaurant knows what they are doing. They slightly reinvent themselves a little bit each time I go. Their prix fixed menu is so extensive and incredibly affordable for the quality and presentation of the food offered, I cannot imagine anyone not being satisfied. Even my big eater husband was reluctant but was overwhelmed by his delicious osso bucco portion from the prix fix menu and quality. Loved my roasted veal dish with creamy mushroom sauce over pappardelle. So many great entrees; tough decision. Delicious mussels and fresh mozzarella/tomato/breaded eggplant apps. And we were too full, but got dessert to go. Most incredible Creme brûlée prepared in a foil container special just for those who want it to-go! I told my server I was willing to wash and bring the ramekin back! But not necessary because they think of everything. One thing I always notice when I come here--and it's been awhile--is the service. Service is always top-notch but not annoying. We had a pleasant knowledgeable seasoned server with short dark hair and beautiful nails! (forget her name) who was perfect, and even the young busser was professional and friendly. Runner too. Everything was timed perfectly and in the proper order with nothing delivered "on top" of the prior course which is such a pet peeve of mine. Pleasant surprise for a location in a strip mall that most would pass right by. They had reasonably priced 4 course diners, attentive servers, and tasty desserts as well. This is a hit for sure and likely one of a very few quality options in the area. I probably would have never noticed this restaurant if not for reviews. The location is somewhat remote and unnoticed. I have to say the food is fantastic and very good. The pre fixed menu is the way to go otherwise you'll most likely spend more than you should. (in general the place is pricey $$$) Staff and our server was great and very professional. My wife and I went during a week night so the restaurant was not that crowded and noise level was pretty low which I like. I recommend this place for an excellent date night (keep the kids at home), it's private, decent dining space, great service and again excellent food. read more

Went to this place about 10 years ago and didn't have great experience so I didn't go back till just recently. And I'm so glad I did. Been back 6 times in the past few months so I'm 100% positive my first experience was a fluke. The menu is excellent and the service is absolutely perfect. I attended a bridal shower at Bin 100. The food and service were both very good. The staff were attentive and brought food out and cleared tables promptly. The Chicken Milanese was delicious and a huge portion. Two thin breaded chicken patties with a balsamic drizzle and topped with cherry tomatoes and arugula. For desert, creme brûlée and a Nutella chocolate cake. The brûlée was standard, but the Nutella cake was divine and worth breaking my diet for the day for. The only minor issue was the room was at the front with a long row of windows and the room got warm when filled with people even with AC on. read more

I'm sure the food will be good when it gets here. I've been waiting to order at the bar for over an hour (not even waiting- I've been asking servers and the bartender "can I please order now?" Without a response) because there are large parties currently in the back room. This is not the bartender's fault- she has been running around as fast as she can. But I'm disappointed that management hasn't put two people on the schedule- a service bartender and a bartender for the bar. The wait staff we had for my mother's 50th birthday dinner party (Jan 3rd, 2021) were amazing! So professional, precise, patient and personable! They all had welcoming smiles and they went above and beyond! Last but definitely not least, compliments to the chef and everyone who helped cooked the meals because everything was so delicious! Have dined at Bin100 many times over the years. It's our go to place for our birthdays and anniversary. We are never disappointed in the food we order. It's always delicious and plentiful. This time however, we were not pleased with our server. I went with the prefix, appetizer and meal great! My salad however, was greens, a few cucumber slices and a carrot slice. What happened to the cherry tomatoes and sliced red onion that is usually there? All the other salad plates had them. Either the kitchen staff hadn't finished completing my salad, or or server grabbed it before it was complete. We had to ask if there were any specials. Our server never stopped by to inquire how our meals were. If a server at a diner stops to inquire, a server at a restaurant like yours should. At the end of the meal, it's a lovely gesture to offer a taste of a liquor. We were given a tasty chocolate wine. Funny, we had no options, we weren't even asked if we wanted it, but the table next to us was asked and given options. We will come back, but hope we don't have this server again. If we do, I will ask that someone else waits on us. read more

I have been to this restaurant on 4 separate occasions and I have never had more than a subpar experience. Service has always been inattentive at best. The food has always been missing something to make it above average. Tonight I had the pork egg rolls which extremely tasty but served at room temp. For an entree I had the linguini and clams which were frankly awful. They were so salty my tongue is still burning. I know several people that enjoy eating here and I am happy for them but after a few trips I have to say I do not think I will be back. I truly do not like to give negative reviews so I will say the portions are generous, and the water servers are very good which was a lifesaver considering my salty meal. The food here is fabulous! Personally, it is the best gnocchi I have ever had, and I haven't been able to find a place that comes close since! The duck and pork spring rolls are favorites of my boyfriend's, and the take-out rigatoni vodka is large enough to share. Bin has a variety of tasty specialty drinks and a great selection of house wines. Not a huge selection for beer drinkers. We have been in search of our new "go-to" restaurant in Milford and I think we have found it. Bin 100 is an excellent place to go out and have a great meal in an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. To begin, the food is universally delicious. My wife and I have different tastes, but frequently share and I have yet to order something, or taste something of her's, that I would not order again. The only downside I can mention is that this place is popular and you need to make a reservation if you want to get a table during peak eating times. We went last Friday at 6:30 PM and the wait was an hour. Fortunately, we had some errands to run so we could come back, but even then we had to sit at the bar as it was the only place where we could be accommodated. Believe me, we were glad to get in at all, but I definitely recommend a reservation. Where other places in Milford cater to the party crowd that seem to want to listen to loud music, drink enough to get boisterous and food is a secondary offering to their watered down drinks, it is nice to find a cool place to have a great meal and a great night out at a reasonable price. read more

I went to Bin 100 in Milford, CT for the first time for a baby shower. We were greeted at the entrance with a smile. The staff was always attentive. The seating was comfortable and the food was delicious! I was pleased to see that several gluten-free and gluten-free adaptable options are available. I am a Certified Nutritional Health and Life Coach and my book just went to the editor. In my book I have included an eating out section and added Bin 100 as a go to restaurant. Everything we ate was delicious and one of the dessert options was German Chocolate cake (which is not gluten-free). I can't wait to go back again. I booked my daughters bridal shower through Michelle. She could not have been more helpful. The menu offerings to choose from were more than typically offered for an event-and all were delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meals. The servings - appetizers as well as meals were generous. I ordered food to go for family who could not attend they too enjoyed it. Michelle was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. The restaurant offers two rooms to choose from, the restaurant side and the private room are both great-the restaurant side can accommodate more people. Michelle was one of my servers that day-She and the other female server(i cannot recall her name) made the day run smoothly and were pleasant and patient. They've expanded and remodeled since i was there last. The food was good, though i consider it fairly expensive. Service was great, restaurant is beautifully decorated. I just feel it will be a place we'll save for special occasions, due to the prices. It used to be they'd have the pre-fixe menu all the time and now it's only during the week. That menu is a very good value. We had appetizers, entrees, drinks and one dessert to share and it averaged about $100 per person. For me, that's a "special occasion" restaurant! read more

We went in for dinner on Father's Day, with a reservation, but when we got there all the waiters were whizzing past us and there was no one to show us to our table for almost 10-15 mins. Once we were seated it took our waitress a while to show up. Something she profusely apologized for! The food was good - we did the prix fixe and ordered the pane cotto (huge portions and a little over salted) and the carrot ginger soup (husband loved it) for appetizers. I felt like my appetizer could have been my whole meal! I got the Gorgonzola chicken as my entree which was good, the chicken was a touch dry, but yummy. Husband likes his shrimp pasta as well.
