I went to Bings last night and this was my first time ever having boba tea. I had no idea what to order so I went ahead and just ordered the almond milk tea. It was wayyyyyyy too sweet for my liking and could barely drink it. I knew the drink had potential though, so I just let the ice melt then when I got home I just added more milk to it myself and it was amazing! I'll give it 3 stars for now since I didn't like my first drink, but I will be coming back and I will make sure to let them know To not add so much flavoring! read more

I was having a craving for milk tea after having a ton on a trip. Bing's Boba Tea helped solve that with their wonderful milk tea that is not overly sweet but still enjoyable. I got the Jasmine Green Milk tea with the tapioca balls at the bottom. Wonderful flavor and taste. Facility is so clean and the people working there are super nice and friendly. After discovering this place about a month ago, I've been obsessed. My sisters and I have agreed that this place is by far the best boba place we've been to. It is the perfect place to lounge and hang out and they've got a great playlist to fit the hangout vibe. The flavor of their slushes is great, they give a generous helping of their awesome boba, and the boba itself is the perfect combination of chewy and firm and has a great flavor to it. I loved the NW location but it was quite a trek for us mid-towners. We are in luck! The mid-town Bing's seems pretty much the same. The inside is pretty sterile, though the owners have provided some cute tables and board and trivia games to entice (students?) to linger. This place will likely be swamped when the kids are back. In the meantime, I have stopped by a few times to try my way through the menu. The basic milk tea is the classic though. The fruit slushes are good for a refreshing alternative to an Eegees. I always add regular boba. Their boba has a great texture. It is perfectly cooked. There are also more exciting add-ins for those who want to be more adventurous. read more

As a boba milk tea addict from Houston, I always go out of my way on my vacations to try out the boba tea joints in different cities. And sadly, I was pretty disappointed by Bing's. Sure, I don't expect a city like Tucson to have amazing bubble tea, but their milk tea was super bland, unsweetened (though I ordered sweetened), and extremely watered down. Their tapioca was average in consistency and their prices are decent. My friends ordered the taro snow (too sweet) and the peach-apricot herbal tea (also watered down). Unless a more authentic place opens up, I'm afraid that Tucson will never know how amazing boba milk tea truly is. read more

A friend recommended this place. So we immediately stopped by to check it out. The menu of items was quite long. We ordered for different ones, taro, coconut, mango and chocolate banana. Let me just say: I am an absolute die hard boba fanatic. I've had boba from all over Phoenix and I might be biased, but nothing comes close. Well, except for Cali boba. Like I said, I'm pretty much addicted to boba, so I definitely need a boba fix everyday. When I first went to the place, I realized that there wasn't much parking in front. There really isn't a sign, but there is some parking in the back; although it can be very sketchy at night, so I don't recommend parking back there unless you have a big group with you. Anyway, when I first came in, I noticed all the cute Ikea decor and their panda logo. The place definitely felt inviting, and people were playing board games, so it is a great place for family, or friends to hang out. To the important part: My go-to drink is the Thai tea milktea. In order to avoid the drink from getting watered down, I recommend getting it without ice. It's always good there, but like I said, sometimes it can be watered down, so if you get the slush version, it can be watered down. The texture of the tapioca balls are always on point as well; they have many choices to choose from: traditional to various flavors of popping boba. I've had boba from Miss Saigon down the street and the texture is rarely as perfect as Bing's. In addition, they also have grass jelly and coconut jelly. I've also tried their other snow and milktea and they do not disappoint. The only drink that I tried that was not the best was their Horchata flavor. I heard their "Cody Vito" was pretty good as well, which is one thing on my list to try. It's not specifically on the menu, but the workers should know what you are talking about. Another favorite of mine to get is their fluff. They have 3 different flavors of shaved ice to choose from: original milk, taro, and green tea, all of which I have tried and highly recommend. They also have a list of toppings that you can choose from. I've had shaved ice in Phoenix and it doesn't compare. The texture is really "fluffy" and I can't say the same to the shaved ice I've had in the past. Overall, I would say that this is a great place to hang out, or study. The staff is really accommodating, as you can mix your drinks. You also get a punch card, so after purchasing 10, you can get a free small boba, or get an extreme discount on a regular size. I'm a regular and typically fill up my car in a week, and I had to give up tapioca balls and fluff for lent because my obsession got too bad. Bing's is a very clean and friendly environment with nice couches and seating all around. The servicing of your order is quite fast. The variety of drink flavors and add ins is quite wide so there is always something new to try. I like getting fluffs which used to be $4 but it is now 3.50 for a small and $5 for a large (same size as old). You can get 2 toppings for the small and 3 for the large and the fluffs have different ice flavors. The quality of the boba in the drinks and the fluffs is mediocre. It is soft and chewy for the most part but sometimes there are a few hard pieces. I do not tend to like the popping boba. I do however enjoy having jelly with any fruitier drinks because boba goes better with milkier drinks. I think the drinks tend to be too sweet when it's fruity but the milkier ones are less sweet. I prefer drinks with less sugar so I tend to go for the milk teas but the matcha tea is also quite delicious. When I saw Green Jasmine Milk Tea, my favorite, on the menu, I knew I had to try it. I'm quite picky about my tea, so I had some high expectations. I got the Green Jasmine Milk Tea with Lychee Coconut Jelly, my favorite jelly and thought it was pretty good. The tea itself was floral and perfume-esque, how I like it, but it seemed like it was made with a syrup, in my opinion, since it was quite sweet. The jelly was also good but again, quite sweet. Tried both locations and I felt this one was the better of the two. BF got avocado with boba. It was really good with the boba cooked perfectly, not too mushy and not hard. I got coffee milk tea with egg pudding. The milk tea was good, but the egg pudding was too gelatinous. I've had egg pudding from other locations and it's usually softer and creamier. At the other location we got taro and coffee mocha snow with coffee jelly. The jelly was too hard, unlike other jellies I've ordered from other boba places. I'm including this even though it's from the other location because I assume they use the same jellies in both locations as it's the same company. Overall, the drinks were good, but I'm not giving 5 stars because of the lack of fresh fruit options and the hard jelly and pudding. read more
