But my nails were disappointing to say the least I got gel x and the nails were glued not on line with my finger so they're pointing other directions no consistency with any shape of the nails the French tips were also inconsistent some thin some thick. One side the French tip wen lower and on others the French tip ended high up. Made an appointment based on all the good reviews to get a mani and pedi. I usually don't get pedicures because I hate the terrible jobs they do, I do my own and don't waste money and like them better than something I paid for. But I took a chance with Tina. She did a perfect pedicure! And she was a very nice lady. Jenny did my Bio gel manicure, she also did a great job, they both took their time and paid great detail to what they do. I've been going to this place for awhile now, and tried to make an appointment with KAMY. I got a text from the manager JAMES saying "Kamy can't take care your nails from now on. Hopefully you will find somewhere that able to accommodate you" I don't know what I did wrong. I asked him if I did something to her to not take me anymore. If I need to apologize? If I offended her in anyway? and no answer until now. I'm a paying customer just like everyone else and we never speak more than 2 words to each other. I genuinely don't know what I did. This review truly pains me to write. I thought I found a new home. Not too busy. Friendly and accommodating for the most part. I started coming here late 2023 after the customer service at my previous salon began to take a nose dive. My first few visits to this salon were wonderful - no complaints. Around March of this year is when things took a turn. I typically get biogel and have so for the past 2-3 years. I called in and James advised I could come in for my biogel manicure. He proceeded to do my manicure, which resulted in me having to come back 2 days in a row due to it chipping - Never complained. Now, we're in April and my nails are perpetually sore. The area underneath my nail looked like I had dug my hands in ground meat and just left it to dry. Plus, it was so tender. Any little thing touching it sent a chill down my spine - still no complaints. May, right before Mother's Day, I go in for a biogel manicure and notice that some of my nail beds are discolored. This is new to me. I have gotten compliments from salon workers on my natural nails, from the shape to the beds, my whole life. I inquire as to what's this discoloration and they ask if I'm on medication. Ummm...no, but I still don't think anything of it. They finish up my nails and I notice the ground meat situation going on. I inquire about that. They tell me it's normal for biogel manicures. Ummm...no. Never experienced this in my life. James proceeds to drill away some of the dead skin and tells me to use a toothbrush to clean it. Ultimately, the tenderness went away but then I had all of this hard, almost calcified gunk under my nails. Once it calcified completely, it would fall off. This caused my nail to be detached from the nail bed. I can literally pour water between my nail and the bed. I went to a new shop and upon removing the biogel was informed that's it's in fact fungus under my nails. My nails have basically fallen off and began to regrow. All in all, be careful of who you allow to do your nails. I've been getting biogel for years, but ONLY since patronizing this shop late last year have my nails looked so ravaged. My nails are literally regrowing from the bottom. I can only hope for the same health they had previously. read more

A rip off, my first couple experiences with this nail spa were positive. I decided to bring my sister along for a little sister bonding day. She asked for chrome nails, which they explained is an extra charge but neglected to explain to her that chrome comes off quickly. Three days go by and her nails started to fade and chip; mind you, this is gel. She called to ask to get them fixed and set up an appointment. Not only was the owner 45 minutes late to the appointment, James Nguyen, threatened her and told her that she got what she wanted and she should of known that chrome comes off. He said they would cover the touch up this time but next time it is on her. Not only is this disrespectful and rude, it is unprofessional. If his staff and him expressed in the beginning that chrome doesn't last. She would not of paid extra for something that only lasts a week. I was curious about this shop because of its name. I've been getting bio gel on my natural nails for a year now. I called ahead to see if they had time for a bio gel fill walk in on a weekday. I was late but they were accommodating. I'm in search for a new nail tech/salon since August because my previous guy is no longer working. The shop was smaller and cozy but the chair was uncomfortable. I sat down and a lady with glasses started working on my nails. I didn't get her name. She was nice but definitely not a good quality job. She kept forgetting to do a nail, a hand, before proceeding to the next step. She was not precise or accurate in filing short almond shaped nails. One of my nails was crooked and I asked her to refile it to make it straight. And two other nail tips were not filed to an almond tip and was left in a straight line from when she filed it off with her electric filer to shorten the length. She would forget to turn on the gel curing light. And I think her light was weak because one hand was still wet when it came out of the curing machine. Her skills for applying the bio gel for my fills was a fail as well. It's uneven, stuck to my cuticles and on one of my thumbs it seeped over and under the side of my nail in a clump. Her initial French tip was a thin "v" on the tips of my nails. I asked her to make them a little thicker and not have it look like a "v." She was accommodating but overall a fail. Then she double coated my French tips and my nails are bubbly looking and uneven. The tips are thicker. You cannot see it in pictures but you can feel it when you run your finger over the nails. And I see streaks of the white on half of my nails from when she was doing the French tips. Her overall job was not good and I would definitely not recommend her or this shop for that matter. read more

This my first time trying this nail salon. Let's start off with the pros: -clean nail facility. Looks like it was newly renovated. -actual nail design using bio nails was clean. Cons: -felt like I was being rushed the entire appointment. Nail technicians were rushing and dropping equipment. I even got nicked. I came with gel on nails that needed to be removed. Usually at other nail salons, they would soak nails with acetone to help remove old gel. But this technician used buffing tool to remove gel quickly which was painful. I often had to pull my hand away because of the discomfort but technician kept buffing away. -pedicure was a joke. Technician was on the older side but didn't really do anything but remove old nail color and trim nails. I feel like this nail salon has the potential to be great, but they need to space out appointments and take the time to do good work. read more

Let's just start off by saying I've been living in porter ranch for 7 months now and I have been dying to find a new nail salon who does bio gel! I had a salon in the city but a 45+ minute drive to get my nails done is a mission.. I went in on opening day, they were offering 10% off all services, so I decided to give it a shot and go in blind with no credibility from anyone about this place. Easy peasy setting up an appointment over the phone. The salon itself is so clean, and they have really fancy massage chairs! Everything inside is white so the place is very bright and welcoming. An adorable salon, really. I brought my mom with and we were greeted right away and our services started almost immediately. JAMES is amazing! He really knows his stuff and really listens to the customers requests. He does a fantastic bio gel! WAAAY better than my nail lady in the city whom I've been seeing for over a year now. Anyways, I am very pleased with this new establishment! So glad I took a chance and went in. We will definitely be back and I most definitely recommend. Really unbelievable. This James guy is loosing his mind I think. Was on edge the moment I walked into the salon. After I had some trouble choosing a color because none of the polish is freely displayed and politely asked them to file a few nails that were completely crooked, I paid, tipped, and then he proceeded to ask to speak with me outside. He then told me that since they cannot meet my standards of doing nails (I guess crooked nails are ok), that I should find another place to get service. I had come to this salon several times before. No problem, will take my business elsewhere! Beyond rude and inappropriate. Also, the place looked much dirtier this time and he mentioned being on a budget several times. I had an appointment at 2:30 somewhere else and asked James if I would be out on time? At 1:40 he says, yes yes, as they always say for everything without paying any attention. At 2pm manicure lady finally makes her way to me and when I ask her: "you're really going to be done in 25 minutes?," she replies, "no way!" James, the owner just charges me the $25 for the pedicure like no big deal without acknowledging or apologizing for wasting 1 hour of my time and not being able to do my manicure which was the most important. I came in the first time to see if they could fix a nail (not even a manicure they did). James took me right away, fixed it and wasn't going to charge me.
