Today was my first time donating plasma, and it wasn't too bad. The place was very clean and everyone I dealt with was very nice and very professional. The first time to go, expect to spend some time there. Make sure you make an appointment online before you go in or you might have to wait a little longer. They have appointments like every ten minutes so you'll be able to get an appointment around the time you want. The first time you go they'll have to make a packet on you and you'll have to do some paperwork. Make sure to check out the website for the things you need to bring so you don't waste your own time. Once they make a packet, you'll have to answer a lot of questions about your medical history and it's basically centered around what has entered your body. Meds, needles, tattoos, those sorts of things, but don't worry when they sit you down at the computer to do it, they give you a snack and a bottle of water. The snack was legit, it was cheese crackers, but not the budget kind, the kind with the Cheetos cheese that you loved as a child and haven't ever seen since, yea those kind!!! Then a doctor checks you out to make sure you're not sick, then you're off to the races on the plasma machine! During the whole process I kept checking out the sweet recliners you get to sit in while they take your plasma, and I couldn't wait for a turn on one those bad boys! You get comfortable and they start the machine. You can use your phone during it to entertain yourself or you can listen to the music they're playing, which was honestly really good music, probably a cool I heart radio station. After being hooked up it took the machine about 40 minutes to milk my plasma from me, it didn't hurt at all and I had zero side effects, didn't feel faint or anything. Then they give you yet another round of the delicious crackers and another bottle of water. Then they gave me, wait for it, $50 dollars. From start to finish it was 3 hours, so $16.67 per hour, well above minimum wage. The first time will take about three hours. Every time after that it'll only take an hour max. My next visit I'll get $70, so $70 dollars an hour. That's baller money. And the plasma helps a lot of people. It's a win win. It's easy money, helps people, and the place is very clean and the staff is great. Highly recommend. I'll start by saying this review is NOT two stars because of anything the employees have done wrong. The majority of them are very nice and helpful. The reason for two stars is because of how poorly managed and understaffed this place is. -There's always only one person taking blood samples and checking your vitals. The line can get backed up fairly quick because the process takes around 5-10 minutes per person. -They schedule way too many appointments for the amount of staff they have available. Some of the busiest points of the day will only have half of the chairs open due to this. -You most likely will be in here for almost 2 hours minimum, depending what time you go. I've never been in here shorter than that amount of time unless I go before the work rush in the late afternoon. It's not a bad place, and I have no complaints about any workers. the nurses at bio life are unprofessional and rude I've donated several times to a blood bank but BioLife is horrible. they told me because I have tattoos on my arm I can't donote because they can't see and infection? They make up rules to not let you donate. don't waste your time plus they are severely understaffed read more

Biolife has you schedule appointments but will not inform you when they are short staffed or running severely behind on their schedule. Two hour waits are simply unacceptable when you schedule appointments and preventing clients from earning the bonus money promised. These folks simply don't care and don't make any effort to improve the situation. read more

The bobby Jones location has really went down hill. The workers are so rude ..management walks around looking mad ...you can feel the tension when you walk in the door. ...no music...the morale has really just went down. read more

Lately this place has really done downhill. Badly. Staff are wonderful but management will not decrease appointment times even though they are very understaffed. Twice they've said we have to leave if THEY don't have us on a bed at a certain time!!!! Staff knows this so it appears as though they are sauntering around and talking and laughing when they could be pushing at least 30% more donors through. But they know we will get cut off so they don't even try to be efficient and get as many through as possible, short staffed or not. I'm one of MANY who are getting fed up. We should get paid if we show up on time then get sent away. Some of us drive a long way! read more

Return New Donor Beware , you are not a NEW Donor nor will you ever be considered for the New Donor Pay scale I just spent two hours going through doctor exams ect. To find out that I would be making $20.00 less than a New Donor and $50.00 less Than a New Donor on my second visit. Biolife plasma on Bobby Jones has their own Return New Donor pay scale and it's definitely different from the New Donor pay scale you looking at on the internet. read more

Workers talking and not focusing on their works makes the whole donation process take 10x longer than it should.

Anytime I come here I'm stuck waiting for almost 2 hours just to start my donation. You see employee dilly dallying, on there phones. While I'm stuck here waiting 2 hours just to donate. Than another hour for the actual donation process. They tell you it's supposed to take an hour or 2. But this is ridiculous, how am I supposed to eat right before I donate if I'm stuck waiting for 2 hours before they put a needle in my arm. read more

I'm thoroughly impressed with this place. Everyone was very attentive, professional, and friendly. The interior was really clean and well lit. It was also nice to see the employees actively enforcing cleanliness. This is definitely the cleanest plasma donation center I've ever been to. The promotions are pretty good too. It can be a okay place but if you know Sunday is a busy day why do you have 6 people working and out of the 6 people "working" only 2 are actually doing something well everyone else is just standing around. Why am I finished but still connected to the machine for an extra 20 minutes and why are you gonna go disconnect other people that just barely finished but I'm standing waiting around doing nothing I've been done and now all of a sudden you wanna gossip with your coworkers to do your job leaving people to wait read more

It almost feels personal at this point. I've never left a bad review and I'd rather celebrate the positive but everyone I talk to makes it in and out of here in 90 min and my average is 3hrs. Watching others that came in after me precede me, getting bumped down the line and having indifferent blasé technicians. There are the regulars that seem to just eat the time of others and get expedited. They are very clean though and they are definitely competent in their job read more

Edit: I came back to add a star. Looks like they were able to get more employees or schedule the donors better. Great place, great employees. I will definitely be comming more and referring a friend. read more

The place is horrible they told me that I was going to get 90$ just for me to sit there for 2 hours and get 15$

I'm a little upset because the one that refered me was supposed to get his 75 referral this morning and did not if you say u give referral on my second donation which was this past Saturday and his second was today then you need to do so I shouldn't have to speak to the manager because someone doesn't want to do what they are supposed to read more
