This location is absolutely horrible. The front desk ladies were so rude and gave me attitude everytime I asked a question. I went with my mom and boyfriend and after waiting for 4 hours they turned all of us away without any compensation. Do NOT go to this biolife save ur time and energy! read more

Poor excuse of a business claiming to want to save lives spent two and a half hours there only to be turned down cause I don't have medical records to say what type of bipolar condition I have no donation place has ever disqualified me because of my mental handicap but they do here they want proof I'm not crazy to bad I am and damn proud of it if you don't want mentally handicapped people donating just say it don't make us waste are time we have feelings and can waste are time on things that don't make us feel like a second rate citizen this place and company is making people with disabilities feel worthless for just trying to help and it's wrong I suggest for people to use any other plasma donation company other then biolife especially if you have a mental handicap and can't prove your not to crazy or won't pass it to normal people biolife plasma you should be ashamed to make mental handicap feel inferior read more

The short story is the staff is very nice and they try but honestly at every appointment I have had issues so proceed with caution and maybe my story can help you. My experience as a new donor started on 2/2 I went in and followed the process (which took almost 3 hours by the way tons of waiting) and the technician caused a hematoma so my donation was stopped, ok fine I get it. They told me to come back in a few days because I still had my other arm. Fast forward to a week later because I wanted to give time to heal on 2/9 the technician tells me I can't donate because the arm where the Biolife technician messed up and caused the hematoma still had a little bruising (even though my other arm was totally fine and no one told me both arms were needed) ok no worries lesson learned right ok I come back on 2/12 all bruising is gone now and after multiple attempts with multiple staff on both arms no one gets a vein. By the way I only drink water 96-100 ounces a day. I am warned "management" will have to review my arms the next time I go in like all this is somehow my fault. Again fine, so I go back on 2/16 and the nurse looks at my arms and she can feel the veins there and says I need a more "experienced" or "senior" person to do the vein ok I ask for that and low and behold eureka they get the vein no issue I do my donation and I think we are all good. Nope! I go in for my next appointment on 2/19 and there is a block on me donating I have to wait to speak to a nurse and I am told that I have to wait for the blood test results before I can donate. NO ONE has EVER told me this apparently there is a 14 day grace period to get blood results and somehow the fact that the staff was unable to get blood until the 2/16 appointment means nothing and I have yet again wasted my time. Ok fine I am told to call in which I do and I am told over the phone the results are "pending" then I get another call that the blood sample was not enough and I have to go in and do another sample. That call was 2/23 and so I returned that day to do the additional blood draw. I am tired of this run around and wasting of my time. None of what is happening here is my fault. No one communicates what's going on. The crazy part is as a "new donor" they give you a "promotion deadline" mine ends 3/2 so after giving my sample today I have to wait 10 days for results and so I will miss the promotion deadline all because of things outside of my control and well within the control of this company. read more

Had a 2:20 appointment and let them know I had another appointment 45 minutes away at 4. I showed up at 2, was processed in and told to have a seat. My wife, was also with me and had a 230 appointment. At 235 she inquired about our status. They asked who we were? Then they took her back first. I waited until 245 and left. There seemed to be a severe lack of organization and/or leadership. A lot of employees just kind of hanging out and leaving the front area unattended. I just don't se how you can run a successful business in the manner they are operating. My wife is now angry at me, but at least I made my last appointment of the day on time. Pretty sure I'd of missed it all together had I stayed at biolife! read more

Im very upset.  My daughter has being donating with biolife and invite me to donate as well. After signing up and making an appointment,  I received a couple emails welcoming me to biolife and instructions to follow before and the day of donating along with documents needed the day of, which by the way, i followed to a T. After seeing/speaking with 3 staff members, Biolife turned me away because my DL is different from my social security card.  My social security card only has my married last name compare to my drivers license which has my maiden and married name.  I was ask to show a copy of my marriage certificate.  I called my husband and within 2 minutes he forward me a copy.  The female asking for a copy did not indicate I needed the hard copy.  I defended myself my stating the email I received from Biolife did not state to bring additional documents if DL and SS cards do not match exactly.  I was offended by the staff when I was told they have NEVER seen a SS card with the married last name and a DL with maiden and married last name.  I have been married for 25 yrs and have never encounter this type of discrimination or accusation.  Yes, it's an accusations questioning who I am.  I am not an imposter, I had all proper documents, I was there in good faith..  the staff knew I was upset and had the audacity to ask if I can come back another day with a copy of the marriage certificate or maybe a Costco card with my maiden name.  I'm...sorry, if I had a Costco card it would show my married last name not my maiden name.  I said no, I will not come back, I will donate somewhere else.  I donate blood through the red cross. First time I went to the Red cross, they did not give me a hard time. read more

The new Biolife Plasma donation center on Arlington in Riverside is a total joke. 1st visit I watched several people walk out stating they had been here for hours waiting. We were here 2 1/2 hours and after 1st hour of them checking and making calls they said I could interpret for my Deaf son 1 1/2 hours later they said sorry we can't proceed without as card. ( they had him sign a paper apond arrival that he did not have it) . 2nd visit moving along 2 hours in and they even took my Deaf son into private room without notifying me (as I was in another area of the center) I ask 3 times where is my son, they continued to evade to answer (he is 29 so I wasn't in a panic but they have no interpreter so wondered what they were doing) no it was not an exam he came out and said they asked him questions about insurance and his birthday they already had all that information but they're not allowed to use insurance for donations very strange. The nurse then starts to do the finger prick to test his blood and they yelled stop we cannot conclude today unless we have an interpreter not funny thing was interpreting nurse walked up and was interpreting for him they said she has not been trained to interpret at this Center another very strange so we left I called the regional manager who said they would have the sinner trained by Wednesday the 30th that he would set up an appointment for us to return on the 1st of July so here I am today I have been here since 2:22 its now 4:36 nothing was ready nothing was set up they couldn't even get me processed I will continue to follow up to see if anybody ever really does get paid but they are not in any way ready to deal with anybody that has any type of disability or even me who doesn't have any disabilities they couldn't even get me through the process to make a donation. I have spoke with the regional manager who guaranteed me this would be taken care of and as stated nothing has been put in place.Sadly I do not recommend biolab Plasma Services to anybody. Speaking with other people with other languages they're not available either. so it appears they continually violate the ADA laws. read more
